Description of Work: My 5 year old front load wash machine stopped spinning during the spin cycle, so I called Trustworthy since I had used them for other repairs in the past. Service was scheduled for the next day. The repairman arrived on scheduled, after calling about 15 minutes ahead of time so I knew he was coming. He listened to the problem and explained what he was going to do, and then went to work. After about 15 minutes, he determined that it was a major part (can't remember what it was called) and gave me an estimate. Although I was floored by the cost, I agreed to have the service done since I NEED a washing machine. He said that he had the part in the van, so he started the work right away. All in all, the service was excellent and the repairman professional. My only "problem" is the HIGH COST of the part...not that I necessarily think it is the repairman or Trustworthy that overcharges, but it just seems like such an expensive repair for an appliance that is not really that old. I mean, for goodness sakes, I can almost pay for a brand new wash machine for $400! I have not had the time to look into whether this is a part that commonly fails or what the price for that part might be, perhaps on the internet, so I can't really judge on that. I will say that I have always felt like I was treated with professionalism and efficiency every time I have used them.

Description of Work: My dryer stopped working altogether. First the light, then the spinning didn't stop when I opened the door, then it wouldn't start at all - all happened within a 2 wk period. I called for service, the provider was on time, and courteous. One switch fixed it all!

Description of Work: The service provider replaced a rubber gasket in my washing machine. He was friendly and responded positively to questions about preventing a similar problem in the future.

Description of Work: I came home from vacation to find my refrigerator was no longer keeping things cool. The first place I called for repairs could not come until Saturday; Trustworthy said they could come the following day, Tuesday. The man arrived an hour and a half into the 8-12 window and proceeded to diagnose the problem as a dysfunctional thermostat. He replaced it and the fridge is now working fine.

Description of Work: Repaired leak in dishwasher. Two days later it began to leak from a second original gasket that had appeared to be OK on the first call. They had a service man there the next morning to fix this second problem at no additional service charge.

Description of Work: I called to have someone out to fix my dishwasher. It was leaking water around the door. I called in the morning and they were able to have someone out about an hour later. The gentleman who came out was very nice and polite. He looked at the dishwasher and was able to find the problem in a matter of minutes. He did not have a seal with him. I thought this odd as they asked we the make and model of the dishwasher before someone came out. Anyway, guy left and was back pretty quickly and had me up in running in a few minutes. My ONLY complaint was the cost! The parts were only $40 ish. The service call and labor were more then 2x the cost of the part!

Description of Work: We have purchased a couple of extended warranties from Menards. One for our dishwasher and one for our washer/dryer. When our dishwasher pump motor went bad we called the warranty company. They assigned Trustworthy Appliance. I had never heard of this company so I was sceptical of the service we were going to get. However, I was extremely happy with the work performed. They were very knowledgeable and fixed the problem very quickly with a new replacement motor. I since have used this company a second time for another unrelated issue. Again I was very happy. I would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: After repairing some electrical issues in our house, we found that the fan on our clothes drier was not functioning. Thinking that the electrical issues had caused a power surge in the drier, we called Trustworthy to check the electronics on the drier. When we called and gave our address, they indicated that they were in the neighborhood and would stop in. Shortly after we hung up, they were at the front door. Jim and his son, Michael, checked the drier and determined it was a minor equipment issue - the belt pulley had come loose from the motor. Within 30 minutes, the drier was repaired and operating. Jim and Michael were professional, tidy, and polite.
