So, the emergency visit was $149. This I would expect. But the transformer, a Diversitech T3403 was charged at $356. This is a very generic transformer which can be bought for $21.38 (Amazon) to about $45.60 MightyTronics. I showed the tech the prices, but he told me that it was the company that set the prices.

My expectations weren't just met - they were blown away! The Summers technician went through the house and made a very thorough assessment of every toilet, faucet and plumbing-related aspect in the home, and if I ever experience any issues in the future -- I can just call and their service technician will know exactly what brand/model parts to have along with them to fix an issue. They gave me a copy of that assessment so I have all of that information for my own use as well. The technician was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional -- and helpful! He patiently answered a number of questions that I had, and offered several considerations for how to do small 'preventative maintenance' things that would help keep a service call from becoming necessary. I very much recommend Summers to anyone needing plumbing services - they will certainly be my first call in the future!

Well - the tech that came out was early and called to let me know he was available in case I was home and free, also. Nice surprise! Unfortunately he wasn't familiar with geothermal units specifically but was able to call in and speak with other staff that were. I also should have been specific about what we needed when scheduling the visit other than verifying during the call that the company does geothermal checks. We were given an option for additional staff to inspect the system if needed. He provided good advice, realistic pricing to resolve what we did find if we chose to do anything, and options if system replacement was required earlier than anticipated. He was informative and didn't pressure us to buy the company service plan - just provided all the facts and choices.

Alex was punctual, polite and explained everything he was doing. He cleaned and checked everything to make sure it was working properly. I honestly think it even sounds better now. Answered all my questions and discussed the condition and what I would look for in a new furnace, and I will eventually need one. He was outstanding.

They did the work, but then said I needed a new system. They gave me an estimate of thousands of dollars, said I could pay it over several years. I told them I would shop around. I got three estimates. The third said I didn't need a new furnace. Even though it was nearing the replacement time that I needent replace it until it was not repairable. I think they were trying to take advantage of an senior citeson!

Alan did an exceptional job--of course within 20 minutes the repair was done-- but what impressed me wasn't the repair, but rather, it was the outstanding customer service he provided. I've been a loyal customer to another local company for approximately 7 of the 11 years I've lived in my home, yet when I needed them today, the soonest they were willing to come out was going to be THURSDAY! That was outrageous and unacceptable. I had bought their service plan and, though they checked up the A/C recently they weren't willing to give me a visit the same day of my call. I immediately called Summers, my new service provider beginning today, because I have used them twice in the past 45 days for plumbing and this repair and both times, I received exceptional service. Alan came in after the repair and explained the diagnosis and the repair, but I knew I wanted to maintain a relationship with this company not because they came out the same AY of my call, nor because they made the repair the same day, it is simply because I felt respected when Alan explained the problem in a way I could understand. He simply professional and won my trust by sounding prepared, knowledgeable and helpful. He diagnosed the problem, resolved and warned me of future problems that are on the horizon. There was no hard sale; just information I needed to make an educated decision. I am grateful for the cool air, but also confident in the repair and I am thankful for Alan's work, knowledge and patience with my dog. Summers is definitely my new provider for all of my plumbing, heating and cooling needs. I highly recommend them to all! Thanks, Guys!

Fine, he was very nice. He went to work immediately and found out what part was bad and replaced it.
