Description of Work: Guys are well-qualified and have the needed equipment other plumbers may not have. Communication is a real challenge for this company. They have an Indy location that may or may not get messages to the Lafayette office. The Lafayette office may or may not get messages to the plumbers and the plumbers may or may not contact you. If you leave messages to have the plumbers contact you, there is a good chance you will not be contacted.

Description of Work: Recovered a ring from the sink trap. It was a Saturday and my usual plumber was not available. Since I was leaving for the holidays, I needed someone that day. When I called for an appointment, they informed me of all costs, including a reminder of the weekend premium and gave me a window of time when they would be there. The serviceman then called me when he was on his way. I was very pleased with the service.

Description of Work: Rooter operator "Bryan" said he could not clean out tree roots because I did not have a "clean out" access in my system. Said it would cost around $4000 to fix. I installed clean-out ($750.00 Excavator, materials, Labor) and called him back to clean out roots. He returned and halfheartedly tried to clean out the roots but failed to get job done. charged $80 for not doing the job he was hired to do. Second employee Curt showed up and says I should have replaced complete sewer line because of root situation.I went out and rented clean-out machine. Spent about 30 minutes cleaning out roots myself.Removed 5 gallon bucket full of roots. System works perfectly now.

One thing that I have learned because of the complications of that number of machines I have asked for a senior technician. I wish they would keep better centralized records that are more readily accessible to their technicians so that they are a little more informed when they walk in the door.

+ -1 moreARS Service Express in Fishers promised we would be the first appt of the day and the repairman would arrive between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m and that he would be done within an hour. I waited until 9:15 and left for work downtown since he could now not be done much before 10:15. Called later to ask what happened and was told by ARS that the repairman arrived at 9:25- so much for the "on-time" service people. I wouldn't be so upset if they didn't base their whole ad campaign on being on time. I called another company and had someone out the next day (on-time) and was very happy. Now I know why ARS Service Express is not even listed on Angie's List.
Description of Work: Scheduled appt for ARS Service Express (advertised as the "on-time" service people) to do AC tune-up per their newspaper coupon.
