Description of Work: Purchase and installation of floor tile for two bathrooms, hallways, and kitchen/eating area. Also purchase and installation of carpeting in all bedrooms. In-store selection experience was excellent; they were very helpful throughout the purchase process. Installers were professional, friendly, and punctual. We plan to use McCool's for future carpet replacement in the living areas.

Description of Work: The price was comparable to the big box stores. The guys who layer the carpet were great. If they weren't great, we liked that we could go directly to McCools for remedy instead of a contractor that works for the big box store. Painless experience!

Description of Work: After purchasing the house, we pulled up all the existing carpet and decided on new carpet in the main living area and three bedrooms and vinyl in the laundry and work room behind the garage. We selected McCool's because it was local and the prices were similar to what we had paid earlier in the year for carpet installed in our previous house in Ohio. | |The salesperson at McCool's was very helpful in explaining the various products so we could select ones that would not show seams after installed and hold up to traffic from pets. They sent two different individuals to perform the measurements, one for carpet and one for vinyl, at two different times. The vinyl was installed by one individual who did a great job laying it out so the pattern was equal at both sides of the rooms. The carpet was installed the day before Thanksgiving and there was a crew of about five installers so it could be completed in one day. All of the individuals, salespeople, measurers, and installers were professional and friendly. | |The only reason for a grade of B for responsiveness is that we were told it would be about 4 weeks before the carpet could be installed -- which was great because we wanted to paint the interior first. But after 6-7 weeks after ordering the carpet I had to call them to find out when the install could be arranged and on that call it was scheduled. I'm not sure how much longer it might have been if I had waited for McCool's to call me to schedule the carpet installation.

Description of Work: McCool's installed new carpet in the master bedroom and Master closet. They were easy to work with and showed up on time both for the measurement and knstsllation appointments. Mr McCool recommended where the Seams should go but ultimately he let me choose.

Description of Work: Put new carpet in great room and stairway. They did a nice job. No complaints.

Description of Work: We had carpet installed in most of our house. The carpet is not such that it shows black spots where ever there is high traffic. It can be cleaned but it looks bad again very quickly. McCools has agreed to replace the carpet in two of our rooms that have the most traffic. We are please that they are willing to compromise with us and recognize that this carpet was not the right type of carpet for this area.
