 + 1 moreI use Stemler Plumbing Inc and I think they are great. I have been using them for fifteen years or more. They are very good. Most of the time I can get the same guy which we like. They come when they say they are going to. They don't gouge us, they don't over charge. I think they are fair. I think they give you what you pay for. You get a good value for your dollar.
Description of Work: Stemler Plumbing Inc are our plumbers. They put a new sink in for me. They did some work on my pump. They do little stuff like a clogged drain to big stuff.

Everything is holding up fine. I have never had any trouble with anything they have done. They are really very good. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

 + -1 moreThey are a local company and I thought they had a good reputation, but honestly they really discouraged me. He was such an idiot. The last time I used him we had four things to be fixed and he fixed two of them and did not help the other two. One was pulling the drain the shower and upstairs bathroom. Right behind the shower is the bathtub and two other bathrooms side by side in the upstairs. The day after he repaired and said that he had helped join in the shower upstairs the bathtub in the next door bathroom stopped draining. I can't help thinking that they have been related. My husband had a drip in his bathroom and turned off the hot water line. They did try to solve the problem.
Description of Work: I used Stemler Plumbing Inc because the church recommended that I use them. They have been doing plumbing work in the house for many years before I started to live here. They set up the garbage disposer. We live in a house with a septic tank and the way I understand it if you are in the main level everything just drains out. However, if you are in the lower level then things have to be pumped up to the higher level and it goes to the septic tank. In the basement we have the washer and dryer and my husband used the bathroom down. They hooked up the disposer from the kitchen drain that sends everything to the basement. Which means it goes down the pipe and gets out of the house. It is all covered in a well in the basement and it is sealed over and the seal has broken twice. Then you have an internal bladder as part of the basement which has stuff from the disposer to my husband's bathroom and it was not good. One day this plumber came and checked it and asked who did this. He then accepted that he had done the job himself.

 + -1 moreI was going to try and fix a dripping Delta kitchen faucet myself and discovered the shut off vavle on the main water line was frozen. I was unable to the turn the water off. I called Stemler's and made an appointment. They call before they come, are always on time and fixed both problems efficently. I've been using the for about 5 years and have always been very satisfied.

We feel that we paid a fair price for the amount of work done, and are confident of the quality of work performed. Description of Work: Our sump pump was not working properly, and the drains were clogged.. They were able to start the job when promised, cleaned the drains, the sump pit, and the shower drain; installed a new pump at my request, and returned in a week with a new back up pump that will work even if electricity is off.

 + -1 moreI called Stemler and they were able to come out to look at the disposal the next day (which is important to me because I travel for my job and I'm rarely at home). The two gentlemen arrived on time and immediately got to work. They let me know the old disposal was going to need to be replaced (and I had asked that they bring one just in case). The electric cord for the old disposal was too short for the new one, so they stopped work briefly to run out and purchase one. They wrapped up the job quickly. Told me it was ready and showed me that it worked and were on their way. The two gentlemen kept my kitchen neat and cleaned up after themselves. I also Googled the price on the disposal they were installing and the price they gave me was very fair. Overall, I had a great experience with Stemler and will use them again in the future.
Description of Work: Our garbage disposal was locked up (frozen), so they came to look at it. I ended up getting a new disposal that they brought with them and installed.

 + 0 moreIt went well. I purchased the new tub and sink from them, and I purchased the toilet from a company over the internet which Stemler Plumbing installed. The bathroom looks top notch, and to date everything works well. They took two days to do their end of the work; first to install the new plumbing fittings, and second to install the tub, toilet, and sink after the other company completed the tile work on the floor and walls.
Description of Work: I had my bathroom gutted out and remodeled. Stemler Plumbing worked in conjunction with another company who did the tile and electric work. Stemler Plumbing installed a new cast iron bathtub, a new toilet, and a new sink, along with any plumbing fixtures and work that went along with the installation.
