Description of Work: Put on a humidifier, and an oversized (Industrial) filter unit!!

Description of Work: Got an estimate done when the sales person came out the check on our heat pump unit. The salesman was not specific on the unit we were getting on our estimate sheet. When we called him back to have him send us a fax with exactly what unit we were getting and the price so we could go on and order it, the salesman insisted on bringing the paper work back out in person. We did not have time to meet with him again. We then went with another company.

Description of Work: The reason I can only give a C rating is because their service has been inconsistent. We have had an annual service agreements and each time we wanted service, we had to make several call because they have a record keeping problem and didn't show us as having an agreement, 3 times! We had our air conditioner serviced this spring and the first tech hooked up wires on the wrong terminals and we were not getting effective use of our A/C. We called, and the second tech did it right and was thorough (picked up a few things the first tech missed). Our next experience related to a noise from our furnace fan which we asked to have checked at the same time they performed the fall furnace cleaning. Our problem was diagnosed as a problem with the fan drum blades component and we ordered a new one along with a new motor. So far so good. Then, the trainee who was working on the annual cleaning told me he checked and cleaned everything, but I needed to change the filter more often. Told him in was only 2 weeks old and didn't appear to be dirty. After they left I found that the filter hadn't even been put back into the furnace. The next visit, several weeks later to install new blades and motor, was the best experience we have had with Becht. This young man was very proficient and the model of professionalism. He was also working with a trainee, but checked everything and had the trainee do over what wasn't exactly right. Showed them the filter described above (now 2 weeks older ) and was advised that it was OK. They also found several areas in the furnace that hadn't been cleaned during the earlier maintenance visit. So, all-in-all, my satisfaction depended on who they sent. Some did the work well, others were untrained or did not do a thorough job.
