Gregg C and C.J. were very professional in their installing the shutters. Gregg explained each step of the process as he installed them. They were very neat, vacuuming under each window and removing all debris after they completed the installment. I won't have any further need for blinds, but I will be sure to recommend Zinga's to any friends needing window treatments.

Sales and service were excellent, and Zingas has coupons available, too! Wide variety of price points were presented, and window measurements were totally accurate: everything fit perfectly! Everything went as scheduled measuring and then installation. We did have an issue with one of the blinds being wrinkled because of shipping. Installers said it should fall out within 72 hours and if not call and they would replace it. Didn't fall out, called and without any hassle they ordered a new one. We were extremely satisfied with the price and service and have just ordered blinds for our kitchen and breakfast area. We highly recommend Zinga.

Loved working with the people at Zinga's... there's such comfort in having someone come to your house, measure (so you know it'll be right), and install (PRAISE! on the install... it took him 45 minutes to do my whole house (15 windows!) and it would have taken me hours. 1. Consultation. My consultant was Taylor and I so appreciated his patience and thoughts as I decided colors and type. His insights were so valuable. I ended up changing my mind on one color, called him the next day- he called me right back, got it changed and we were off to the races! 2. Install. Due to Covid, they took a while to get here - not Zinga's fault- but well worth the wait. They're great... I went with the roller shades. I love them! They stop the heat (went white and cream mostly) but allow in enough light to the room. They soft close which is a relief bc my 4 year niece thought they were cool too. (ah!)... But you gotta love the warrantee they come with. 3. One slight hiccup was this massive three part window in the front. I was 100% happy with how the three shades came together, giving up some level privacy from the street outside my house. I called Taylor.... he set up a time to come and they're fixing the issue. It was tricky, and i am so relieved they're working to make it great! Worth the price for my peace of mind!

Gregg C and Ronnie came to our home and installed the blinds in a professional manner. They practiced CDC guidelines for Covid-19 when in our home and professionally hung the blinds, checking with us to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase, and double checking to make sure the coverings were hung correctly and operate as they should. We were return customers and would call Zingas again!

Zingas was recommended by our builder so we scheduled an appointment to have someone come out and give us an estimate. Abe Mummau was our design consultant and it was a great experience. Abe was actually early for our appointment which gave extra time for him to take measurements for all of the windows. We then walked through the house and discussed the blind and shutter products that Zingas offers. Abe never pressured us or tried to upsell us. We were so impressed with the products, the pricing and Abe that we went ahead and purchased on the spot which is very unusual for us. We can't wait to get the blinds installed and we are very confident that if there are any hiccups that Abe and Zingas will make it right.

Joey was our sales rep and he did an excellent job. We were out of state and We had a FaceTime appointment with him. We were able to see what the blinds would look like in our windows. I worked with Paul Whitfield to find just the perfect roller shades and plantation shutters for our new home. Paul came out for our first appointment several months ago while our house was still under construction. We talked about our specific needs, looked at samples, Paul measured all of our windows and gave me an estimate. He was never pushy, but followed up a couple of weeks later like he had said he would. Paul was great about returning emails and giving me several different quotes as I decided exactly what I wanted to use in each room. I shopped several competitors, even online, and Zinga’s still had the best prices, especially considering their warranty. Today I finally placed our order and I can’t wait for my new roller shades and shutters to arrive in the coming weeks!

The blinds look amazing. The installer Mike Thurston was effecient,professional and personable. Although he arrived later than expected, I received notification of delay and expected arrival time. Additionally the salesman offered insight regarding the type of blinds and the options for multiple windows, but did not pressure me to buy. Katie kept me informed about the installer’s arrival. My over all experience was great. I would highly recommend Zinga.

Zinga's and Paul Whitfield have been very good to work with, they have a quality product and Paul is very knowledgeable and professional - He is so good that we not only installed indoor blinds we have ordered outdoor blinds for our deck. Alan (don't know Alan's last name) has installed all of the blinds, he has been great to work with also, as has been anyone I have talked to in the office. Great customer service provided by every person we have dealt with.

I recently built a new home and needed a full house of window treatments. Zinga's made the whole process so easy from the start. At the initial consultation all the options were discussed and displayed and the windows were measured. The sales consultant was quick and professional and answered all my questions. The blinds arrived in a timely manner and they were flexible with installation dates. On the day of install they arrived on time and were professional and courteous throughout the entire process, which was much quicker than I anticipated. The blinds are a perfect fit in every window, even the odd sized ones. The quality of the blinds is great and they are beautiful! Overall I am very happy with the product and the entire experience with this company and would definitely use them again and highly recommend to anyone.

This was truly the worst, most unprofessional experience I have ever had. I was recommended to this company by a friend who previously used them. The day they came out to measure, the salesman was an hour late. My friend later revealed her salesman was late as well. The measuring went fine and we ordered our blinds. We agreed to a price and moved on. A day later I received an email confirmation that I was charged more than we had agreed upon. The salesman later confirmed he added two blinds to the order and processed it without asking first. The salesman later said he got confused and thought that was what we wanted. We moved on. Then we received a text from him saying that the style blinds we wanted were not available. Then when we contacted our salesman about this he did not know what we were talking about. Ok. Again we moved on and hoped for the best. Then the install date came. The installers were extremely friendly and efficient, I later found out they are through a separate company. Two blinds were measured wrong and were too short. One blind was the complete wrong size. Almost all of the other blinds were way longer than they should have been (2-3 slats longer than the window). This began our worst issues and the main reason for my harsh review. We contacted the owner, and received no response. We then contacted the manager, and received no response until the third time. Then his only response was to tell me that my salesman was handling it and I should solely contact the salesman, NOT the manager. They decided to fix the blinds but not without making us wait a month and often not respond when we asked for status updates. This was truly the worst customer service I have ever encountered all the way up to the owner/management level. I would NEVER recommend this company.

George, the owner is a nice man and looks like a golf pro. He was courteous and timely. He measured and provided us a quote. Definitely not inexpensive, but we weren't necessarily looking for the cheapest product on the market. We are more interested in quality product and good customer service. (FYI...we never saw George again after signing the deal and he's not good at returning phone calls or communication). Once the product was in, the first call we received is from the scheduler, Lenny, a very grumpy gentleman, who appears extremely put-out that he has to call you to set up a time for the installation process. I thought this was odd in relation to our experience with George, but everyone has a bad day now and then. The next thing we got was a group of young men who we had to continually ask to remove their shoes, and who were nothing but irritated that they had to deal with putting up our roller blinds and set of shades that George didn't sell us originally. This was surprising to us, as George said in his original visit to give a quote, that this wouldn't be an issue. They said they never do this....but I shrugged it off and thought that they wouldn't be doing it if George didn't tell them to do so. The crew came out several more times over the next month or so installing blinds (that they sold us) and while still not very professional or friendly, once the blinds were up, we were happy with them. They are expensive, and the crew was a bit of a struggle, but we were happy with the product. This spring, we decided to replace our front windows and called to ask George if we could pay him to take down two sets of blinds and store them properly until the new windows were in, at which time we would pay them to come put them back up. We were charged $420 for two guys to take down two sets of blinds that took about an hour and a half for them to take down. Wowza...fine...I pay the bill. Once the new windows were installed, I called to have them come put the blinds back up. This time, they put up the blinds in less than an hour and send me a bill for $255.....however, part of the blinds weren't put back up and when I called, they said that Allen told them that pieces were missing. Huh? Allen, the pieces were all there when you came to take them down. George? George? George? A week goes by before I hear back from George. He says Allen told him that there weren't enough hinges. I'm confused...the blinds were all up and fully operational when you took them down. George seemed confused by this as well. He sends Allen back to house the next week with new hinges and Allen puts up the middle piece of the blinds. When he leaves however, and I take a closer look, the blind isn't installed correctly at all. It looks horrible and isn't sitting in the window properly. So I call George again....and wait. Come to find out, what really happened is that Allen didn't take down a long piece of wood that runs from top to bottom of the window to which the blinds attach when he took them down because it was caulked to the window, so the piece got thrown away with the old windows. Instead of telling us this and saying that he needed to order a new piece of wood, he said he ran out of hinges. Ok, so now the wood piece and a couple of other things we asked for finally get ordered and multiple weeks later I get a call from a lovely woman who says all the parts are in and Allen can finally come finish the job. I ask, just to be sure, "Can you check to make sure all of the parts are in," so that we can finally get the job completed?" She says yes, everything is in and we schedule Allen to come finish the job. Allen is scheduled to be at our house on August 22nd and I take the day off to be there when he arrives. He leaves me a voice mail at the time he is to arrive and says that he won't be coming because all of the parts aren't in. So I call him and ask him what the &*%$# is wrong with their company and ask why we can't get this task completed. He was offended, said the parts would be in by the end of the month, and rather than apologize for the mess he created, for lying, and for wasting my time, he said he would have George call me. That was August 22nd. As of September 11th, I had never heard a word from George, so I called and left a message asking if the remaining parts were in so that we could complete the project that started in the spring. He wrote me back to say that he had sent me two previous emails (but he said he sent them to the wrong email address) saying that I had cussed at Allen and he wouldn't be sending him back to finish the job. He said that and that all they were trying to do was fix blinds that I didn't purchase from him in the first place. He said he never has his crew work on blinds that weren't purchased from him, that he had offered me a huge discount and was making no profit. He told me to find someone else to finish the job. Look, I never should have cussed at the guy. It was wrong, but my patience had worn out. Bottom line is that I paid $420 to have two sets of blinds taken down and when they put them back up, a part was missing that had been there when they came to do the work. Now I'm left with a set of blinds with a missing part and they won't finish the project. Terrific. As an owner of a company in the customer service business, walking away from an unfinished project that a customer has paid for and claiming to do it because you're "offended," is ludicrous. Beware of Zinga's. Bad business practices and customer service is what you may encounter.
Description of Work: We hired George Zinga a little over a year ago to install new plantation blinds in seven rooms of a home we had recently purchased. There were also some roller blinds that were already in the kitchen and one set of plantation blinds that were in good enough shape to keep in the house...they just needed some new hinges. The roller blinds and one set of hinges needed to be put back up because the interior of the house had been repainted. George said this wouldn't be an issue.

Lets start with sales process. Patrick, one of the co-directors, showed up and talked us out of the roman shades we thought we wanted. In his opinion, people arent happy long term with the way they stack. Fair enough. We decided on a motorized roller. the pictures indicated a very sleek modern look if you fabric wrap the plastic cassette that holds the shade. Heres my issue with what we ended up with. Patrick had the measurements of my window casings. My feeling is an experienced designer would have known the size of the cassette would have been too deep to fit inside our casing. So now we have ugly plastic sticking out about an inch on each side of every window. Patrick is a nice guy, good salesman, not much of a designer. We had done a lot of work with Tiffany at Drapery street in Carmel and its the kind of detail we believe she would have caught, but we made a rash decision simply to save a little money and went with Zingas. That mistake will not be repeated. Like i said, Patrick is a nice guy, but i'd only buy from them if i knew exactly what i wanted and was merely shopping price. Patrick also set me up with the people from Aqua Systems for our water softener. Very very happy with them by the way. Lets get to installation. Product came in quickly, and i was setup for a monday morning install. guy shows up with a helper and slaps up all 9 blinds. came with 3 remotes. There's cords hanging down on a few of them and 2 dont work at all. Installer says, "i have 2 with doa batteries. i dont have batteries." ok. fiddles with 3 remotes for a while and some work, some dont, he doesnt have any idea why i have 3 remotes, doesnt even unbox one of them. ok. i walk over to one with a cord hanging down. "whats up with the cord?" i ask. he says, "well thats attached to the battery pack" huh. "can you do something about the cord?" he acts like he's in a hurry and says well if i try to shove it up there, it'll get stuck in the mechanism. so i point to the other windows with no cord and he turns back to me and mumbles, "well i'll see what i can do to make that look a little better". He never did. Tells me their programing guy will be in touch and will come fix the travel(how far down they go), the batteries, and the programming. Out the door he goes. so i complain to Patrick that im stunned the installer cant program the remotes or set the travel or carry spare batteries. I explained that my wife and i had to move all our heavy furniture away from the windows and now we're stuck like this until another guy comes out. 3 days later the expert shows up. young guy, nice guy. Cant figure out the remotes either. after 90 minutes he tells me and my wife, he'll email us programming instructions. Never does. Oh but he did discover that the two with dead batteries actually worked, and he set the travel. progress. so a few weeks pass by and i get another call from yet another guy who tells me they'll come out and fix the remotes when my shutter comes in. He explains that they usually have to call the manufacturer to get instructions on the remotes while onsite. Heres my issue, Patrick told me this was a fairly new company they were working with but that they were very happy with the quality and that they really like the motorization on them and he had just done a house full of them. so clearly someone there must know how to program the remotes. wheres that guy??? Oh and its been 8 weeks and still no sign of my shutter. All i want is competence. Know the product youre selling, install the product youre selling. I feel like on both counts they came in at a C.

The shutters look great, but I cannot figure out how they arrived at amount billed on my credit card. I have asked and asked for an accounting of how they came up with the figure, and I am always told that someone would call me back.
