It was excellent. I shopped around, and they were the best price. The windows were also better at this lower price as well. The installation went nice and easily. They were very professional. There is also a lifetime guarantee on these windows.

Window World was great. They were timely, and didn't try to oversell us. They gave us the facts about the window's quality, and let us decide. They didn't try to pressure us like the other window companies were doing.

Wonderful! I would use them again. They were spot on with their estimate. They were courteous and on time. They cleaned up after themselves. They ran into a little bit of something they were not expecting and added no cost to us. They went out to the supply company and got what they needed and completed the job without any additional cost. They were just really honest people.

Window World was one of three companies I called for an estimate. They were right in the middle on price. Estimator was thorough, explained the estimate in detail and also reviewed the process if I chose them. After getting all the estimates, I choose Window World and called their office to order the windows. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to get the windows. In actuality, probably because of the holidays, it took about 10 weeks. The day of installation one person arrived at the agreed time. he quickly and efficiently installed the window. My only complaint is he made a but of a mess of the kitchen floor and did not attempt to clean it up. Other than that, I am very happy with the quality and appearance of the window.

I was making payments on the balance of the bill, and she has now put a lean on my house. She is not very courteous, because she has someone else contact me. She said I took two windows, but they are sitting in my garage. I told her I couldn't afford them, but her workers put them there anyway. They show up unannounced, and don't meet their schedule requirements. I am not happy at all with the service they have provided. I will not use them again.

They were very good. The guy who came out, Jim Beck, followed through and installed without delay just like he said he would. There were issues where his company wanted him to do other jobs. I appreciated that he was wanting to finish the project and not just turn it over to someone else. He was excellent!

They did a good job. We did not have any problems with the windows opening or closing. We were able to purchase high quality windows and no longer hear the traffic outside.

I didn't even realize they were here! We were so happy with the work they did. They didn't even bother my flowerbeds that are in the window boxes beneath the windows. They were very efficient and just did very good work overall. I would highly recommend them.

The salesmen that came to my house to measure, estimate and talk to me about the company and the windows and doors were very personable and professional. They took as much time as I wanted to discuss various options...and did not overstay their welcome or get me to commit to something that everning. I wanted very good, high quality windows and doors - double paned, gas filled, full screens. I feel that's what I got. I paid more than the $189 they advertise per window, but that was because I wanted better windows. They were not high pressure and had good suggestions and talked me out of something that would have driven the price way up and I probably would have been unhappy with later on. I got a quote from another company, but decided to go with Window World because their price was less and they would leave a finished product where the other company wanted to leave me to paint everything (the doors and trim they wanted to replace). The only problem I had was one of punctuality. I scheduled installation at least 3 weeks out and called the office on the Thursday before the Monday it was scheduled for to make sure they'd be coming. I was told yes they would be here between 9 and 11. I didn't get a call till 11:30 on Monday that the installers were stuck on another job, but they could come the next day. Then the next day it stormed and I cancelled because no one should be outside working during a lightening storm. We agreed on Wednesday, today. My employer was very accomodating letting me have another day off for this activity. Once the installers arrived today, I could not have been happier. They were professionals in every way. They started by re-measuring all the windows and doors they were replacing to make sure what they had brought was what I needed. I think they may have left the house cleaner than it was when they arrived. Everything was swept or picked or vaccuumed up. The windows look wonderful and work well. I saw how they insulated and caulked around them. There were four men here and they did the entire job in about 7 hours. I think the delay problem could have been handled better, but the installers were so good, I'll get over that.

I have used them before, good price, straight forward, and made sure that all of the measurements were correct.

They were absolutely wonderful. It was a two man crew. They came out and were on time, very friendly. It really only took them at most two hours to complete the job. They left the place just like they found it. The two guys were very friendly and even showed me how to use the windows. Would recommend them to others.

They did a good job and because of our inconvenience of a color misunderstanding they gave us $100 back. We also asked them to look at a small dent and crack on two different windows and they replaced the whole window and let us have the old set which was fine so we basically have two sets of windows.

They were fine and very good. We didn't have any problems with them.

The trim work on the windows was wonderful! The main installer was very helpful with suggestions and guided me to a better color on the trim. We were extremely pleased with our experience with them and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

We called Window World to replace the picture window and they came to the house on June 10 to measure the window and give an estimate. We paid $250 in advance and the earliest date they could do the work was August 20. They were to come to the house between 9 and 11. They didn't arrive about noon and at no time did they call us. We called them as we got close to 11 and learned they would be late. They started to install the window and decided that the measurement was wrong and they would have to reorder. They came back on September 8 and their scheduled time was 2 to 4. Same story again, they didn't make it in that time nor did they call. We called again a couple of times and they finally arrived after 6PM, still not calling us. They got the window in and my wife found some problems in caulking which they finally fixed and were on their way. Subsequently as my wife washed the window she found a small scratch in the middle of the window which we are discussing what to do. When the local owner of Window World read my report, he contacted me. He came to the house and we discussed at length the problems I had encountered. He was very concerned and wanted to do whatever he could. There was a small scratch on the window and he worked at removing it. All in all, we had a good discussion but there was little that could be changed. He suggested that he would refund the cost of the work, but that was not my intent. However, I am sending the money to a local charity. In re-reading my original report. I think I probably should have a "D" rather than an "F" on the overall grade. Since I had "B"s in price and quality and this didn't seem to fit.

Window World replaced all of our windows in one day, beginning at 9:30am and finishing the clean up at 2:30pm. They were prompt, courteous, and very professional. The quality of their work was exceptional. The price from Window World was extremely competitive, and the salesperson was knowledgeable and made a no pressure presentation.

Although I did not end up using WW, I was very pleased with the experience. They were the ONLY window installation company I talked to that did not use high-pressure sales tactics. The only reason I did not use WW is because I work in high-pressure sales, and so I was happy to play the game with the companies that like to play games. I was very impressed with my salesman (Gary Rowe). He did a nice job demoing the windows and I didn't have to threaten him to get him to leave my property. He was also very upfront about the lead-based paint job-site requirements now mandated by the EPA if your house was built before 1978. WW was the ONLY company who was upfront about this. All of the other companies tried to say you could still "opt-out". This is not true as of July 2010! I found dealing with WW to be a very pleasant experience and would recommend that folks I know at least bring them in if you are considering new windows. A few points I would make concerning common complaints: 1) Yes, you really can get a window installed for $189. Is it a window you want to put in your house....not really. Bank on $300-$400 per window for a typical double hung of the WW variety. I wasn't born yesterday, so I didn't invite WW to come out expecting that I would get the windows I wanted for $189. 2) As I was researching window companies online, it first appears that WW has a lot of complaints. Dig into it further and you'll see these are from franchises in other cities. Each WW is independent. All the bad information available on free sites is what led me to sign up for Angie's list. 3) These aren't the best windows that money can buy but they are a good "value" window. If you want to do more research, the typical WW window is an Alside Excalibur. Independent contractors who sell more expensive brands might call it junk, which isn't really true. That being said, you will get some air infiltration with these windows, however, the majority of the energy savings you get from new windows comes from the low-E argon double-pane glass. If price/value is your top decision criteria, then this is a good window.......if it's not you might want to look elsewhere.

No pressure from the salesmen. We didn't both have to be there like Bee windows required. They simply gave us a demo, told us about the company, measured and counted the windows. They showed up on time. The crew was neat, and polite in every way. When the job was finished, they cleaned up like they were never there. The new windows look great! We will be calling them again to replace the rest of the windows.

They sent a technician out to provide a quote. They offered the advertised $189/window plus an additional charge for each window to match the siding/trim outside that the other windows had. Total cost per window was $260. They wanted to charge an additional disposal fee for the old windows and I refused and asked them to just leave the old windows and I would take care of them. They said to take that fee off they would have to add a fuel surcharge fee. They told me that it would be around 8 weeks for installation since the windows had to be custom made. They called back in around 4 weeks ready to install. Installer arrived on time and did job in approximately the amount of time that he estimated. Did nice job overall, windows are aesthetically pleasing, but I don't think that quite enough sealant and insulation was used.

They were very good, and I would highly recommend them. They were prompt about their meeting. They were very informative in their presentation. They got the work done when they said that they would. They did an excellent job. Their price was very competitive.

My experience with them was very good and we would definitely have them back again to do some more work. I would give them A's on all categories.

The installers were friendly, professional and tried to please.

They did a really good job. The bathroom windows were supposed to be obscured, but when they came they were clear glass. They have reordered these a few times now. The first time they sent a sash that couldn’t be put in, the 2nd time they were the wrong size. This time they are ordering the right kind and will install it. They have worked with me and I know that this will be put in some time this week. Philip Goss was the salesman. The installers were Terry and his wife. The secretary Pat and Chelsea have been instrumental in getting my order resolved.
