Time passed, I left two messages, my calls were not returned. Finally, I got in touch with a person and she scheduled a meeting with me and him. It was for a Thurs. at 4 pm. I got a call at 3:35 that day and he was canceling again. We got into a heated discussion because I had been told by two other companies that normally the windows aren't installed in that manner. This owner said he doesn't believe any competitors because they just hate his company. So of course he is right and they are all wrong. He wanted me to quote what they said about why they were not installed correctly. I had trouble with it and he demeaned me by saying he had no idea what I just told him. It makes no sense. Duh, I'm not an expert and can only remember bits of what they described. He of course was the expert and they were all wrong. Even a former employee of his who had taken the courage to start a business was "disgruntled" and I should not believe him. I want to go on but have no more space.

First of all, the workmen who came out both times were very unprofessional in their appearance. One guy had a whole in his jeans that I could see his boxer underwear. The other guys pants were falling down. They left cigarettes and a mess all over my property. They didn't bring a vacuum to clean up their own mess so I had to clean it up. They measured one of my windows wrong and had to order a new one which added 3 weeks of time. I had a problem with 2 of my windows installed. I questioned the design and function and the guy just said that is how it is supposed to be. Then the owner told me that wasn't true and he had a different contractor come out to fix it. They've been out here three times to install my windows. After this last time when they finally fixed the 2 problem windows, I called the following day and left a message for Jeff. He had sent me a bill for a balance but I left him a message that I wanted to talk about the bill. I still haven't heard back.

Due to rainy conditions it took 3 days. This did not bother me - the 1st day was mostly inside work, the next 2 days was outside in the cold and rain. The outside work was to put the metal wrap around the windows. I can tell you when I came home and checked the progress there was metal pieces all over my yard and deck - but by the time they left (usually after dark) there was not one piece on the ground or on my deck; that was tedious. This company is very professional and I would recommend them for any of your Window needs. I need my sliding glass door replaced - they will be my only choice. Thank you.

Quality of work poor. CUSTOMER SERVICE extremely poor, unprofessional and inexcusable. Installer damaged drywall around windows and on walls. Handprints on walls; damage to wallpaper; old windows were removed and carried thru the house; I had to ask them to stop leaning the old windows against the walls and furniture; poor job of caulking; caulking smeared on all window panes; damage to outside trim. Jeff, owner inspected damages and agreed to have his contractor make repairs and replace defective windows. Numerous unreturned phone calls and no show appointments. Sent Notice of Loss on September 17, 2007 asking that they submit claim to their Insurer. No response. Last call to Window World was 9/26/07. No return call to date. Window World must pay for all damages and replace windows and outside trim. I will select the contractor to complete the repairs.

We requested quotes from a few companies, and this one was by far the cheapest. Everyone else was around double the cost. He assured us that these windows are so inexpensive because of their huge amount of production, and he gave us a neighbor's address to go look at the windows that he had sold just down the street. He had a lot of negative things to say about his competitors and their prices. After he gave us our quote, he called back multiple times to find out what our other quotes were. He called at all hours of the day, and was very aggressive about following up with us. We haven't completed this project yet, but we won't go with Window World, even though the price is so much lower.

I had estimates done from three window companies highly rated on Angie's List. The salesman from Window World, Scott Holloway, was by far the most informative and least pushy of all the salespeople. He gave the lowest price of all three companies with prices and fees clearly listed in the quote. I received a postcard in the mail three weeks after ordering which was much quicker than I expected. It was raining the original day I scheduled my installation and while I assumed the work would be canceled, no one called me to inform me of this and reschedule. I called and rescheduled for the next day. Once again, no one called or showed up. I called WW again and after a few phone calls back and forth it was determined that my installer was going to no longer be with the company. They sent another crew out that day and although it was 8 hours after my scheduled time everything went smoothly from there. The two installers were great and completed the work quickly.

The original installers were on time and installed 8 of the 9 windows in less then 6 hours. Cleanup was fine for the most part, but I did have to pick up small slivers of aluminum, around all the windows. Also, I found that there was slight to moderate damage done to the inside wood paneling, surrounding some of the windows. It will take me several hours, to repair this myself. Although I am, for the most part, satisfied with the work done, I feel better care could have been taken when removing the old windows from their frames. The windows themselves are fine for an older home. If I had a more expensive home, I would not have picked these particular vinyl windows. One last commit. I was told by one of the installers from the first crew, that it would take no more then 10 days to replace the one window, which was measured wrong. After not hearing from anyone concerning this window for 3 weeks, I called Window World. And surprise! The window just happened to be ready, that very day!

Great product. Fantastic service, best price and fast turn around. We met with the owner at the home show and were very impressed. We had the salesman come out to give a quote. He was not pushy at all. He measured the windows and gave me a quote on the spot. He did not require that both my husband and I be there either. He left the quote and said to call if we wanted the windows. The quote had all the prices for options clearly listed. No hidden costs, no "special pricing" , just straight forward disclosure of costs. We ordered the windows and had them installed in about 3 weeks. The installers were very professional. They worked quickly and cleaned as they went. We have a one story house and the installation only took 6 hours! I only found two tiny pieces of trash after they left. During the cold snap in April we used a fraction of the propane we had all winter. With our old windows our house was extremely drafty. Even during the strongest wind, no more drafts!

We ordered the windows and were pleased when they came in on time and the work was scheduled promptly. Things went down hill from there. We were told during the quote it would take 1-2 days to install the new windows. It took 4 days, the installer was never on time, if he showed up at all. The wrapping job on the exterior was bad. He caulked to make up for aluminum he did not cut properly etc. Three of the window sashes were damaged and new ones had to be reordered. We were told it would take 7-10 days to receive the new ones and they would call when in. Over a month later we received a post card in the mail saying they were in and to call them. The new installer came (again not on time), re-wrapped the windows and installed new sashes. The job was satisfactory. However, it took 10 hours and when asked how it was coming, the installer apologized it was taking so long that he "didn't feel very motivated". We had to clean up back yard of all debris ourselves. WW gave us $158 off.

Let me preface by saying that I dealt with this company in mid-2005, and was less than impressed with their work. Their installers were dirty and inexperienced, and the quality of their work reflected that. They had very little respect for my things and the interior of my home. In fact, they damaged the drywall and a window sill so much that they had to return to replace it. In addition, a large slider window wasn't caulked, the wood trim was not replaced and the bedroom windows were difficult to lock-at best. The representative arrived on time, was very friendly, and provided an estimate on-site. I told him about the problems with their previous work and he asked to see it. He identified the problem & suggested I call for service that day, which I did. Repairs were fine. After other estimates, I called the company to inform them that I wanted to place an order and who my rep was. (This was Saturday). She took my info & said that he would call me back. Never happened. Strike 2.

They did an excellent job. Salesman did not pressure us to buy anything extra, nor were we pressured to make a decision right away. Installation was prompt. One window came in the wrong size, and it was reordered immediately and installed very quickly. I highly recommend them!

They didn't do a good job with clean up. I picked up a whole trash bag of nails/vinyl/wood. I also wasn't too impressed with the installation. I had to have them come back to fix a few windows I couldn't open and clean up some scratches.

All of the companies responded promptly. All seemed professional and competent. Prices among them varied by only abut $400, so choosing a company proved difficult. Although the bid from this company was the lowest (by about $50), we rejected it simply because Mr. Holloway made the bid without actually measuring the windows. Although it probably would not have happened given how similar all the estimates were, we thought estimating without measuring could give him an excuse to raise the price after he actually measured the windows. In any case, we thought making a second trip to do the measuring was a waste of his time and ours.

They are simply the best! They did exactly what they said they would do and everything was professional, the warranties were all clearly explained with no additional charges.

Took a little longer for the windows to come in from the factory, but once they were in they got me scheduled in fairly quick. Only one installer put in all the windows, and it took him 2 days, but he was very good. He had the windows in quickly for working by himself, and they look great. They all work great, the sales man was very knowledgeable and I have no complaints.

They replaced all 26 windows in my house with low-E, full screen and vinyl trim. They accomplished this in one and a half days. They were great to work with and cleaned up everything before they left. There were two windows that were broken while being delivered. They installed them anyway and replaced them shortly after the installation. There was also a piece of trim that I thought should have been covered that wasn't. They came right out and covered it with no charge.

They were on-time. They finished the job in one day. They cleaned up very well. I am very happy with my new windows. My overall experience was excellent.

(Date of Service: 10/05) I asked 3 companies to come to my home and give me estimates for replacing all of our windows. I made an appointment to which the representative was about 45 minutes late. The windows looked fine. It was on par with what I had read about double- pane gas-filled windows. Of the 3 presentations we received, WW was in the middle. The rep. started to fill out a quote but stopped and said he would mail it the following week. I didn't receive the quote and had to contact their office a couple times. I did get the quote via fax after about 2 weeks. We did not choose Window World for our windows, but their price was fair. We were not all that impressed with the rep. After speaking with the owner, he explained how he just took over the business and was making progress toward improved service. I'm sure things have changed in a year, and their price was reasonable.

They told me the windows would be ready in 5-6 weeks and they were ready to install in 2 weeks. We were not ready, we didn't have the porch torn down, I didn't think that that was going to effect the process but two window wraps will have to be redone. The windows look good and work well (a competitor was in estimating siding and commented that they did a great job). This was by far the least expensive company. I had a problem with one window. In the bathroom there was no drywall. They were supposed to re-frame the window and install the window with 1/2 inch for drywall. The drywallers came and the window had no allowance for the drywall. I called daily for about a week, but they would not call me back. I finally talked to someone and they said it was because they used the old wood that was there, instead of new wood and they would rather refund my $150 for the frame then fix it. I had someone look at it and they said it was the window size not the frame.

I was told it would be 4-6 weeks for the windows to come in after placing the order. After three weeks I received a call to get the appointment set up! Installers were about 30 minutes earlier than scheduled, were very courteous, and very efficient. They took time to explain the process and answer any questions I had. While one installer was finishing the caulking on the outside, the other installer was going around with a shop vac inside cleaning up any debris that was remaining. I had also ordered a new front entry door and storm door. I'm still waiting for them to be installed (glass was on back order at the factory). Other than a slight lack of communication about the door (it took a phone call from me to find out the status), all other communication was good. Based on other price quotes (and high pressure sales tactics) I received from other companies, Window World was a real joy to deal with.

They did a good job. They cleaned up the trash. I would gladly hire them again.

Great experience! I will definitely use them again. The quality and service did NOT suffer because of their lower prices.

WE WERE TOLD THAT WE WOULD HAVE TWO PEOPLE DOING THE INSTALLATION BETWEEN 10 -1, WE ONLY HAD ONE AND HE WAS HERE BETWEEN 10 - 6. MY DAY WAS KINDA OF SHOT WHICH I DID NOT APPRECIATE. OTHER WISE THE GUY WHO CAME DID A THOROUGH HARD WORKING JOB.
