Description of Work: Replaced 1/2 the windows in our house. Drew is outstanding to work with. Installation was done in one day. Crew cleaned up their mess. All our concerns after install was addressed to our satisfaction in a timely manner. I would consider the quality of the windows as good, not great... but appropriate quality for price paid because we didn't go for high end windows. We will use them again to finish the remaining windows.

Description of Work: Replaced two windows. When I inspected the windows after they had left, I noticed that the calking was not done surrounding the new windows. When I complained, they did come and saw the windows. They said, the calking was done in a method called "back calking" and so it is not visible from outside and there would be no problem and it is warranted for life.

You're right that the windows and the labor are covered under our complete lifetime warranty so you know you'll never need to worry about them ever again. Description of Work: We recently had all new windows, a patio door and a front entryway door replaced and the service was awesome from the estimate all the way through the finished product! There were a couple of windows that had a problem but were immediately reordered and replaced. The installation team was very professional and cleaned up totally after finishing. The price was better than the competitor we had give us an estimate. We are extremely pleased with our windows and doors! And, the first month alone, our electric bill was $30 less than the previous month and we used the air conditioner even more than the month prior! Can't wait to see what happens this winter! And the noise level from outside is less as well. I would hire them again in a heart beat and highly recommend them. Drew, you and your guys rock!

Description of Work: I hired Window Universe to replace an old picture window flanked by two double-hung windows on the front of my home. The job included removal of the old windows and covering up some battered aluminum trim around the windows. The salesman was thorough and professional and answered all of my questions. I was kept updated via email from the point of sale until the job was completed. The installer came to inspect the project site prior to the windows being factory-ordered. On installation day, the installer and salesman came to remove the old windows. The salesman left and the installer completed the installation. Everything was thoroughly cleaned up afterward, and I couldn't believe how quickly the job was finished. Every person I came in contact with from Window Universe was courteous and professional, and the quality of the work and the product is superb. I couldn't be happier with my new windows! I would definitely call Window Universe again in the future.

This review is not for our company. It looks like we met with this member back in September. We gave her a detailed and itemized quote for $4,479 including our complete lifetime warranty. She never returned our follow up calls and we never performed any work for her. It does say in the review that she had work performed for $5000 so she must have hired another company and confused us. That’s happened a few times before on Angie’s List. We know they’re always asking you to write reviews and I think sometimes folks just click ok and start writing. Anyway, we want to make sure folks know that this review is not for us and we did not do any work for this member. Until they move it, we'll use it as an example of why anyone considering a replacement window project should give us a ring. We offer a written 110% best value guarantee which ensured there is no company on Angie’s List offering better pricing for replacement windows. We are the absolute best deal in town and we would love the opportunity to prove it. It looks like this member paid $521 more to work with another company and was then disappointed by the results. I wish she would have called us before deciding to let us know what her questions were. We likely could have helped, then we could have saved her $500 and given her a better experience. Description of Work: We used an Angie's list deal of 5 windows for $1,500. Everything was perfect except that you get charged an extra $60/window for "non standard" installation. Since we had regular vynal windows to replace I figured it would be standard. But it wasn't... Still cheaper than anyone and everything about the experience was great so I give them an A all the way around.

For example, if we said removal or new construction windows installed with integrated nailing flanges may require an extra charge I think a lot of folks wouldn't be really clear as to what we're talking about. Description of Work: I received two estimates for 3 replacement windows in my home. The two estimates were extremely close for almost identical products. However, the coupon that is available for purchase here for Window Universe made their estimate more appealing. Receiving the estimate was easy and no pressure at all. I received regular communication from our sales rep offering progress of our order. The installation of the windows went very smoothly. The installers were extremely neat, thorough, and cleaned up absolutely everything. They even took care to not trample my Spring flowers under one of the windows. I'm very happy with the quality of these windows as they're easy to operate and easy to clean.
