They were not very pushy. They were very straightforward with the pricing and the work. They were very fast with the installation. I had a lot of people compliment my windows and ask where I had gotten them done.

The salesman was great, courteous, and professional. The roofing crew did fantastic work, and completely cleaned up around the house. They left no mess for me to take care of. They were done in one day. A week later the gutter crew came and put up new continuous gutters and new facia, and were done in two to three hours. The roof and gutters look great. They give the house a whole new look.

They seemed pretty good but they were a little pushy. I was a little uncomfortable with the offer they were promoting. They said they wanted to take before and after pictures and would work with us on the cost if we did this. They sat us down and gave prices with the promotion and without and explained that we couldn't release prices to anyone and would have to make a decision before they left. They rubbed me the wrong way so I decided not to go with them. I felt like they didn't conduct themselves in a very professional manner.

We had a disastrous experience with Indiana State Master Contractors, who walked away from our renovation project for making a half-bath into a full bath. Whiter Oak came in, discussed plans, lined up workers and created a smooth work schedule. When problems were encountered, White hak found solutions. A cabinet an inch too wide for an opening? Open the wall, trim the wall size and install the cabinet. A vanity too large? Trimmed to fit in one day. The work was excellent, on time and the emtirer experience was delightful. These are people you will add to your Christmas card list.

We had been wanting to buy new windows for our 19 year old home, our old windows had broken seals and were terrible! A salesman from White Oak Construction was in the neighborhood and while we don't normally buy things this way we did agree to make an appointment and let someone from the company come out and talk to us about their windows. Before the appointment we did some research on the company and their products and were pleased with what we saw. We have several very large windows and bought sliders for the downstairs and double-hung for the upstairs. They did a great job, the windows are beautiful. We were very happy with the crew and the work that was done. The crew was very professional, they took care not to crush my roses outside one of the windows and cleaned up all the mess that was made during the installation. There was one mishap while taking out one of the old windows, it broke and fell into the room (through no fault of theirs). It scratched a table and broke a lamp shade (thankfully no one was hurt) they replaced the lamp shade and took the table to have it repaired and returned it to us when it was done. We love our new windows and the warranty that came with them. Thank you White Oak Construction!!

We are satisfied with the work they did. They were efficient and worked very fast.

We are currently in the process of replacing all of the windows in our home. Our home is newer (1999) however we didn't build it and cheap windows were placed. We hired White Oak Construction to begin our window replacement, and we are going to use them to complete the windows. We had the four casement windows replace with two large sliding windows. There was an obvious difference in how much cold air was coming in the house with the old windows and how there was none with the new windows. I absolutely love them. We actually just had the salesman come out to measure the other two front windows and are having those replaced now. The sales process can be a little off putting, but it is definitely worth it.

This company is the reason i joined Angies List. Got good reviews for the most part...but I got crappy service. No show one day. Never sent estimate or called to follow up if I had received it...

Their work was good but I wouldn’t say excellent because we had to have them come out and fix an item. When we started out they kept changing things before the contract paperwork because they wanted everything in line and we went back and forth a lot on the paper work in the beginning to get it started. It turns out a little discouraging in the beginning but when the workers came out to the property and started installing they were good. They were considerate and cleaned up their mess each night before they left for the evening. Once they completed the project they made sure they cleaned up all the way and that part was good. The paper work in the beginning was a little frustrating. I never had a chance to cross compare with others because I didn’t get an estimate from others. They were very responsive. They were there when they were told or if not sooner. I had an issue and the guy was out that afternoon or next day and he was quick in responding.

After they never showed up for our scheduled meeting they harassed me for several weeks after. I had to tell them on two separate occasions that they lost me as a customer because they did not show up for our scheduled meeting and I am no longer and never will be interested in anything they have to offer. They are just very harassing and unprofessional.

Sales pitch was a bit gimmicky but we had had a prior pitch from another vendor and it was also gimmicky. They will sticker-shock you and then come down after you catch your breath. Work was completed by two men in one day. Be present when the windows are installed and make sure the caulking is thorough. We noticed a few areas where the caulk was too thin and the guys gladly recaulked for us. All old windows hauled away. Cleanup was good but you still need to check for nails after they leave. We're pleased with the windows and now wish we'd had them replaced sooner. White Oak did a good job. Real proof will be if we ever need to exercise the warranty.

High presure sell to get lower price. install very good.

Went well, showed up at appointed time. Went right to work, installer was polite and knew what he was doing. Made no mess in the home and cleaned up inside and out.

The two representatives tasked to give the estimate on replacing one window showed up on time. They did come during our family dinner so my spouse handled talking with them while I finished up with our child. This would have been fine since we assumed it would be a measurement, quick examination and then a quote would come later. These two men did not leave our house for 2 hours, after an excessively long sales pitch all while we tried to clean up our dinner, get our child ready for bed, and get our dogs fed. We asked them to please get to the point and just give us a quote and they would say they were "almost done", but never wrap anything up. Finally at 8:30 PM after taking up our entire evening they get to the quote. They used the tactic of "here's a price that is good for one year" and "here's the price if you commit right now". The second quote was very good, and we may have considered it if we weren't so exasperated and frustrated by the sheer length of the sales pitch and total disrespect for our family and our privacy. The salesmen seemed incredibly displeased when we refused their offer--likely because they had wasted so much of their own time as well. We did not request this quote, a representative showed up the day previously to solicit us, so it is a very strange tactic to demand a commitment on site after you approach the customer asking if they might want your services. If they had told us up front we would have to commit that day we would have saved everyone a lot of time by telling them No right away since we did not request this quote. We just did it to get a ballpark idea and be able to plan for the future. All in all I would NOT let this company into my house for an estimate, though I have no idea on the quality and timeliness of the actual work. We have had windows replaced by other companies before and never been through as ridiculous a sales pitch as this, and the prices were comparable.

This provider showed up to gather information for the estimate. He was very friendly and had good customer service skills. However, I did notice that while I was showing him all the things I wanted done, he did not take one measurement nor did he write anything down on a peice of paper. I asked why he was not writing anything down or taking any measurements. His response was that he does so many of these projects that he can just do it all in his head. Needless to say, I thought that it was impressive, but strange. He told me that he would get back with me by the end of the week with an estimate. A week had gone by and I sent him a total of 2 emails within a 2 week period. The following week I called the office. They suggested that I call this individual on his cell phone. I made a total of 2 calls (left messages) and still did not hear back from him. I then called the office back and informed them of the situation and explained to them that it was very unprofessional and that I will make sure I post my experience on Angie's list.

Very very well. Siding blew away due to storm damage only on one side of the house. House was 7 years old. Original siding contractor out of business, builder left the state so finding manufacturer etc of siding to get an exact match was impossible until White Oak. Came out within days and found an exact match, re-sided one side of home and it matches rest of the house perfectly! Overall very good experience. Crew was friendly and efficient. Cleaned up well.

It didnt...they wouldnt schedule me without my husband being present.

He was on time and professional. He seemed to have a good product. There were a few "if you buy right now it's this price" sales pitches that we hate. In the long run we didn't feel like he had a better product than the one we went with for quite a bit less. So far we are very happy with our choice.

We liked the products they offered. They came with a pretty good warranty; they were definitely pretty good. They did a really good job and they were fast. We were one on one with them and that was nice. They came out and checked their work and they exceeded every point of the survey.

Installed were Pella windows. From sales who answered tons of questions to the installers who went about their work very professionally, I am very happy with the work done. We did at least 5 estimates. This was not the cheapest nor was it the most expensive. Our selection was made from the gut feeling from the sales rep and reviews here.

I just want to say that we put in Windows and Siding with White Oak and these are a really great team of people to work with. Starting Dale our Salesman was excellent in scheduling visits to talk to us, not rushing us into a decision and allowing us time to think about what we wanted and how to get it done. He was great. The team that came out to do the work was clean, professional, on time and easy to work with. I was very impressed with their work on these two projects which were done in three trips to get it all completed. Down the road I see some more improvements in our future and I certainly plan on contacting White Oak for those projects as well to see if they are up for them.

They phoned several times to insure that my husband and I would both be at the appointment, which we were and they never showed up. I called to inform them of that fact and no apology or reason given, they just wanted to reschedule. I told them no way. Also the solicitor that rang the bell said he did not see the no soliciting sign that is located above the door bell. I do not believe that either but I still agreed to have them out and they did not show. Urg
