White Oak Construction

We were very pleased with the sales staff and installation staff. We had a large number of windows that required custom fitting around field-stone and wood siding. They also replaced or repaired some wood framing around the windows that had water damage and wood rot. The crew that did the replacements completed the job in 2 days and cleaned up afterwards leaving nothing behind for us to do.

The quality of their work was very high. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. I would use their services in the future too.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Their installers are employees of the company and not sub-contractors (having worked in the contracting industry, this is rare), which I found refreshing and boosted my confidence in White Oak. The project manager showed up and explained to my wife everything that was going to take place and gave her a timetable (which they adhered to). I met the crew when I got home from work. They were presentable, friendly yet professional, and answered all of our questions. They cleaned up the jobsite at the end of each day and did a top-notch installation job. I would hire this company again in a second! In fact, we're thinking about a room addition and White Oak is at the top of the list!

The quality of work and the windows are great. We thought that the price was a bit high.

Someone came to my door to inquire if I was in the market for new windows. I really wasn't going to have the windows done until fall of 2010. A salesman called and made an appointment. He showed me the product and explained what they could do as well as a price estimate. I decided that I would get the windows done. They gave me an estimated date of the end of January/beginning of February for the windows to arrive but they came in much earlier so I was able to have the installation completed much sooner (it would have been even sooner if I hadn't been out of town) than I expected. They were very professional and very quick. The installers showed me how to work the tilt-out as well as how to get the sliders out for cleaning.

They were responsive, punctual, and the price was fair.

The experience was great. The workmen were all very professional and did a really good job. I am very satisfied with them. The price was what I expected.

Company came to my house and told me they were selling windows. We were in a discussion about previous estimates that I had recieved was told that Lowe's Windows were just low grade and would fall apart so I should buy theres. I told them I would not spend over 3500 on windows so the guys were leaving and one guy remarked to the other and said "this was a joke". It was totally apalling experience for any company to come to the house.

Measuring and installation staff know what they were doing and did excellent job in explaining process, etc.

2 weeks ago, a gentleman was going door-to-door in sub-zero weather handing out flyers and taking names and phone numbers.White Oak called that night to schedule a presentation.They wanted both of us to be present for the presentation, but when told that I was away on business, and my wife could take care of everything through power of attorney, they were more than eager to make the presentation without me. White Oak scheduled an appointment for between 10-10:30 am on Saturday. They NEVER called, and NEVER showed up.

The salesman came to the house, told us about the windows the company sold, helped us select the window styles and gave us a price. The windows are top quality with a high R value. Some of the windows are a different style, some had to be a different frame color on the inside. The tilt in for easy cleaning. He gave us a price which was too high so he helped us with a different style for our 4 large windows. We then got a lower price for allowing them to feature our home in a promotional flyer because we were the first customers in our neighborhood. After the order was placed, one size window wasn't available so he helped with another style.

Sales representative was down to earth and very straight forward with what to expect. Their price was competitive, but the quality didn't seem as good as other vendors. Never heard from company again after visit.

The quality of their work is amazing. The owner is wonderful to work with. I can't say enough good things about them. I would recommend them to anyone who needed them.

Overall they contacted us with a special deal I have never heard of them but they had great reviewers on Angie's List they were professional and the price was the best and they cleaned up and did a great job.

It went really well. They started the work at 9 in the morning and finished at 2 in the afternoon. They gave me an estimate and stuck with it. The work was done very well. They did all the clean up.

I believe Chris came out with another person and they gave us a thorough rundown on the company. Don't be put off by this as you will learn a lot from his presentation on the company. Then they showed us the windows, they measured and they gave us a quote which was 1000.00 dollars less than another window company. I have windows in the house installed by the other window company but now that White Oak has put theirs in, I wish the whole house had been done by White Oak. They gave us 12 months same as cash which is exactly what we wanted. About a week later, the installer came out and measured the windows and told us it would be about a month before the windows were in. In less that 2 weeks they called and 2 days later the windows were installed and we just love them.

There is nothing short of saying that White Oak Construction has completely restored my faith in service contractors and then some. We recently had a horrible four-month experience with our original basement contractor and had literally felt absolutely defeated about getting the project we wanted. Not only did White Oak come in and fix everything, they did little extras like cleaning up every day, showing up promptly on time daily and committing themselves to the work with an ample crew, adding small touches we'd forgotten to mention to pieces of the project to make it look better, and talking with us about every step of the process. They are true professionals and really take pride in a job well done. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone - and will do so constantly from this point forward. They are capable for any remodeling project or home improvement job.

We had original windows throughout the house, and several different sizes and styles. Rick Fawcett was excellent at explaining all the advantages of their windows over what we currently had. He also offered suggestions of what type of window would look best in each room. We signed the contract, and within a couple of days, Butch had called and set up an appointment to measure the windows. Within a month, the windows were all in, and we scheduled a date within a couple of days to have them installed. Butch and his assistants were on time, and very polite. They worked diligently to get the windows installed and minimize the amount of cold air getting into the house - since it was January. All the windows were installed in one day, and the next day they finished all the outside trim and caulking. They windows look just beautiful.

THEY WERE SO VERY HELPFUL. I AM A WIDOW AND I FOUND THEM VERY KIND AND CONSIDERATE. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.

VERY FAST. EXCELLENT CLEANUP. MY DOORS LOOK WONDERFUL. DID A LITTLE HANDYMAN WORK FOR FREE. THEY DID BREAK A GLASS SHELF WHEN THEY WERE HAMMERING, BUT THEY REPLACED IT WITH AN EVEN NICER GLASS SHELF WITHIN THE SAME DAY! I AM SO PLEASED.
