Description of Work: It was a long distance move & they provided both packing & storage. We had two separate crews & both were excellent with the care of our furnishings. Everything was wrapped securely & boxes marked noting the contents.

Description of Work: The generalities of the survey are difficult in this situation as Wheaton has vendors and independent contractors. This was a partial (small) move from Steamboat Springs, Co. to South Carolina. The Steamboat vendor, when he could be reached was very nice, but the move on that end was so-so. Very nice folks, but multiple delays and poor communication. I was also called one day by a driver who said he'd pick up our load the next day and then was dropped and he didn't have the courtesy to call back. As time neared for us to leave Colorado to drive to SC, we still hadn't had our stuff picked up. The Steamboat folks did come through, however, and picked up our belongings and kept them until another driver came to get them. My delivery was about a week late, but the bright side is that the driver, his wife, and a local help person arrived as promised and took extra special care of me and my belongings.

Description of Work: They moved my family from Los Angeles to Virginia. I have used them 3 times. Each time was a very good experience. The only hiccup was the last move from LA when they did not bring enough boxes. This caused a near panic as the office was closed on Saturday when the truck came to pick everything up. We had to scramble to fix the issue through their main dispatch and their local representative, which they did.

Description of Work: The packing crew they sent to get the boxes packed up were very good. It was an all lady group who did a wonderful job. However, the crew that came to load the actual truck not so much. They were a little careless loading boxes seem to take a very long time to do it. |When the load was finally delivered we had a fair amount of crushed boxes a piece of broken teak furniture. That being said, the two gentlemen who did the actual delivery and unloading were very helpful and accommodating. A pleasure to work with them.

Description of Work: Wheaton delivered furniture from Indiana to Las Vegas. This was antique furniture and it arrived in good condition. However, what I did learn is if you call Wheaton for a move outside of Indiana you will most likely get a distributor. This is not Wheaton and I did not have a good experience.

Description of Work: We moved from Mobile, Al. to Reading, Pa. The driver was professional and on time. Very large truck, and we had a lot of furniture and boxes. the crew was quick and careful loading and unloading. pleased with service.

Description of Work: Moved belongings from Texas to Midwest. Pick-up and drop-off dates exactly as scheduled. Everything was wrapped and nothing broken. Wonderful service. I will use again.

Description of Work: I moved from Branson, MO to Huron, Ohio and the two young men loaded my household goods from a 3 bedroom house to a storage unit. They had a difficult job of loading as everything had to be shuttled from curvy mountain roads to a flat surface parking lot. They accomplished the task in one day. Then the storage unit in Ohio had a very narrow road to the actual storage lockers, but Ivan, the driver managed to back in and was cheered by us when he succeeded. All went well and although I have not unpacked yet, I was impressed with the movers work ethic and helpful service.

Description of Work: It has been 9 months since my move, and I am still arguing with this company over cost of service. The gentleman who I set everything up with was very nice and pretty much promised me the moon, but as soon as they came and loaded up my belongings, they forgot who I was. I should have had delivery at the latest, by the 4th of September and they didn't show up here until the 16th. The only explanation given was the driver had been delivering in Las Vegas. Now, they tell me they reweighed my stuff and in order to deliver them, I had to pay an addition $500 or they would drive away with my belongings. So after waiting and paying rent at my new (empty) house, I felt I had no choice but to pay that amount. The man I set everything up with told me I should get a refund or compensation for the days they delivered late. But instead, about 10 days after they had delivered, I received another invoice for an additional $432. This company is a scam! They will promise you anything to get you to choose them, and then once they have your items, will make you pay more.

Description of Work: Parent company for Olympia Movers. For a national supplier they are unreliable and do not meet their obligations. Be very careful before you risk your goods with them
