Description of Work: Fixed flashing on the chimney and replace some of the shingles next to the flashing. It was an emergency repair. Rain was coming and I had walls and floors getting wet. I did not get another bid. I was happy they came and fixed the leak before it rained again.

Description of Work: We called Universal Roofing because of a real estate transaction wherein an inspector stated that the roof was damaged and a manufacturer's warranty could be questioned. As a seller, we asked Rob Yeary for an opinion. He came out immediately to look at the roof and found the roof in good condition. We have used them in the past also. Both parties went to the closing table without the roof becoming an issue. Universal runs a first class operation.

Description of Work: They repaired some storm damage on one gutter and replaced another.

Description of Work: Had them come out to give estimate on possible repair. The gentleman (Sean I believe) determined the problem was nails popping up and quicky fixed the problem and sealed down the effected shingles. Sean also pointed out some decking issues that might be of concern down the road. Very nice to work with this type of contractor.

Description of Work: Called co. to come out and look at our home to remove and fix ice d***. Rob came on time and was very pleasant. Immediately he told me what the problem was and explained that nothing should be done til the ice melts or we would have same problem again, he also gave me advice on other things.....he was SOOOOOO very informative and helpful. I really cant say enough about how pleasant my experience was and I plan on working with them in the future.

Description of Work: I had ice damage, and they had to redo pretty much one room. The ice melted and caused water damage. They did an excellent job. They also redid the part of the roof where the ice had damaged it. They were very good on cleaning up too.

I'm taking them at their word because I never bothered to keep a count of the boards. In hindsight I would've requested a count. Regardless they did an excellent job and I'm glad that Angie's List provided me with the information...Thanks....

Description of Work: They did a re roof. They had to do extensive trim work because they installed ice and water shield and new flashing for the chimney.

Description of Work: E-mailed for an estimate for a tear off re-roof. Received a reply with 1 week. Set an appointment at my convenience. Estimate was given with copy mailed to us. Shingles were picked that had to be special ordered. Once the shingles arrived (about 2 weeks) we set up to have the roof done the next day. It was completed in one day with a Hispanic crew that swarmed the job and got it done. They were courteous and finished it as described in the estimate. They had a one armed member of the crew helping out on the job to clean up on the ground. That shows the crew had some heart. I like that.

Description of Work: I needed a quote for a new roof. I left a message and they called me back immediately. As soon as the weather clears, they will call me and schedule a time to come out and give me a quote.

Description of Work: I have a fairly new roof. In the hail storm from earlier this year, the roof sustained minimal, if any, damage. A gutter serviceman told me that he thought the roof had some ''bad plywood'' in a few places. I called Universal Roofing, told them that I did not have hail damage, and that I wanted to schedule a time to meet, together, to discuss my question. They agreed to this. After that, the service man came to my house and walked on the roof, with no appointment and without calling ahead. Then, they sent me an estimate to replace the entire roof and even thought I didn't request that, even though the roof is only a few years old. I will probably not call them again.
