Our Fall Clean up was excellent! I will definitely use them in the future.

They've come out consistently as promised, and we're seeing results on the lawn already. Seems like good service at a good price. Hoping to see the progress continue this spring.

About a year and a half a go Unique salesperson knocked on our door. Our lawn was obviously in need of help. We had weeds and bare spots due to drought weather and some spots didn't grow back. My husband had used Scotts weed and feed, but we still struggled with weeds and honestly our neighbors probably wished our lawn didn't look so pathetic! I hired Unique, even though my husband didn't believe they could get rid of the weeds. Within a few months our lawn was looking 100% better. Unique will come and respray weeds for free after I think 14 days from the last spray. (I only did that once.) They gave recommendations of what needed to be done to keep the lawn looking it's best ie. reseed, aerate, etc. We reseeded and the lawn looked great. Because we had an ongoing maintenance plan we were offered a discount on aearation and that seemed to help the lawn also. After every visit, they leave a slip on the door with the time they visited, services performed and recommendations of how to make your lawn better (stuff you can do on your own and services they provide). Employees were curteous and helpful. I would hire them or recommend them to a friend.

They've been professional and on time. They've followed up with any kind of concerns through phone. They were friendly.

Lawn airation was done well. 5 lb of Kentucky blue grass seeding was also included in the deal. There is no way for me to tell whether actually Kentucky blue grass was seeded or how much of it was seeded.

These guys are great. I bought a house back in 2012 and had a lawn full of weeds. Called unique lawn care and they were very personable and priced it out better than anyone else. They do great work. My yard looks so much better than when I moved in. Weeds for the most part have been completely eliminated. Recently had them come out to slice seed part of my lawn and aerated the entire lawn for a great price. They always call ahead and call when they are about to process a payment. They are the best and would recommend to anyone. Thanks guys, you have made my yard look great this year. Can't wait to see what it looks like this spring after the slice seeding and aeration. Hire these guys and don't waste your time with others.

They are just fantastic. The service is really good. They call you when they are going to show up and they do what they say.

They are always prompt and professional.

They were excellent. They have been working on our lawn for just a few months and it already looks significantly better. They are willing to come out between treatments and do additional weed control, and their customer service is excellent.

I've tried many other providers, and my lawn is the best by far since they've been doing it.

I wasn't in the market for a lawn service and have been solicited by local companies numerous times. They all have told me that I need their service because I have weeds. Clearly, I KNOW I have weeds, I don't need someone to knock on the door to tell me this. The rep for Unique Lawn Care was different. When he came by after work he asked what we have already tried, was able to identify the TYPES of weeds in the lawn, and able to tell me why their program was different from other services and different from the DIY bags. He also discussed how their treatment not only kills weeds, but leads to a healthier, thicker lawn. We have tried to control the weeds for 3 or 4 seasons with the scotts lawn treatment series from the local hardware store with no luck. I wasn't sure if we were going to try a service and the rep that came was very knowledgeable and happy to discuss treatment and suggestions for the lawn even if we didn't purchase their service. I told him I would think about it and he came by a week later to follow up. I signed up for the service and pre-paid for the season to get the free grub treatment, free lime and gypsum and to get half off their fall seeding services. After only 3 treatments, I have NO MORE WEEDS!!! I do have some bare spots now where the weeds were thickest but I look forward to my healthier lawn spreading and seeding this fall. Very happy with their service

They were prompt in setting up the appointment and arrived on the day they had promised.

On May 30th, Chris Pursifull, Manger of Unique Lawn Care sent me a letter apologizing for what her called an internal miscommunication on their part. The manager offered further free lawn treatments, which I decline. I consider the matter to be closed.

This is the second year I have used Unique Lawn Care for my fertilizing and weed control. I just moved last May and asked them to do my lawn when they were here to do my neighbor. I noticed that the yard had a lot of nutsedge and some dandelions and was going to call them for spot treatment but got too busy. Saw they were here last week and went to pay the bill online but didn't have to because they had already spot treated it for me! I have had several different lawn care companies in the past in different cities and have NEVER experienced service this good! If you are currently using Scott's or Tru-Green, you are not getting your money's worth.

I have a contract where they come out 6 times a year. They are very responsive on the phone. Their price is very competitive. There is no schedule on when they will come out.

OH YEAH CHOOSE THE PRE-PAY OPTION IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO.....I REALLY DONT MIND PRE-PAYING WHEN IT IS AN HONEST COMPANY LIKE THIS. My word of advice is Call Arlen, Hear him out, Lastly buy from them and re-new evry year. Signed by a thoroughly satisfied client.

The company is very responsive when you call them.

They did a great job even during the severe heat during the summer of 2012

They called a day ahead to let us know they were coming as we had requested, and did a great job for each application.

After the confusion with the billing and collections were cleared up by Chris, I discovered that they have very good customer service and really try to do what will make the customer happy.

I believe this company is scamming people.

I switched my lawn service to Unique Lawn Care over a year ago. They have done an outstanding job with my lawn. I have use 3 other lawn services in the past and they are far and away the best. Their recommendations have be right on track with what I have read tha my lawn has needed and each time I have had them do something, it has work just as they have said it would. I have ask them to call me the day before they come out so I will know when they are coming and can plan to have by dogs inside and they have never failed to call. When every I have had an outbreak of weed between treatments, they have been quick to return and spot treat those areas. I have been extremely happy with their service and they provide it at a competitive price.

Their quality and responsiveness is good. Since this is the first season I can't rate them in detail.

An extremely obnoxious young man from this company rang my doorbell on Saturday afternoon, said he was "in the neighborhood treating some of my neighbors" and would like me to consider their service. he asked if i already used a lawn care provider, i said yes and when asked which one, I told him; he laughed at their name. He said they were not really using fertilizer, I said yes they do. he said just look at your yard; I said well yes it is brown because WE ARE HAVING A DROUGHT. He asked what fertilizer are they using, i said i don't know they put the names on the receipts they give me, he said "go get them and show me." At that point I said no, you need to leave, i am not interested in your services. He said oh let me give an estimate, I said no thanks just please leave. I finally slammed the door on him because he would not go and was still talking when the door was shut. I would never consider this company after such a rude, unprofessional performance. This company needs to check out the impression their representatives are giving, because i would certainly never consider them after this.

this product on our grass species (warm weather grasses) without expecting damage. Well, now it's dying in streaks and large areas. Photos available. Also disappointing was that the weed I need to kill is not even listed for this chemical. They don't even read the label. That's not just poor service, it's illegal and hurtful. Another week or two passed and the lawn is dying, large places already totally brown and crackly dry, even though I spend a great deal of time and money irrigating our property. This week we got a call saying they were coming back to do something else. I complained about the chemical ("Momentum FX") and that they had applied it contrary to the label instructions and that they have severely damaged our lawn. All year for many years I work to have it nice for lawn parties. Last week's was pretty disappointing, lawn wise. The man (Seth) said that I was just wrong and that they wouldn't do that. He also said I was probably told the wrong chemical name because they have several people working there who don't know anything about what they are doing. (Why would we hire people who don't know what they are doing?) Yesterday he repeated that when at our home. I let him come out, but not make any applications. He arrived continuing to make excuseses and telling me I was wrong, until I had him read the label. At that time he made a call to Ohio (now I learn that all management is out of state) and confirmed that they had indeed used Momentum FX. It's was obvious from the brown streaks and many brown areas that it had been chemical poisoning. Then I showed him that our weed was not even listed for this product. I also showed him that it's a crime to use this professional use only chemical in a manner contrary to the label, which they clearly had done. Next I asked him about our japanese beetle infestation that's eating our rose petals. He said he would put down the grub (beetle larvae) control right away. It had been promised well over a month ago and it's too late now because the larvae have matured. He admitted that they do that usually earlier in the year. I would have done that ordinarily myself. We trusted these people and look where it got us. They would have taken further advantage of us and applied grub control well after the grubs have become Japanese Beetles. Too late now. Clearly these folks do not have the care, ability or the professionalism to take even the most obvious and fundamental interest in their work. They get you signed up, then do what they want, when it's convenient, without regard for the needs of the lawn. We don't know exactly how to get corrective action for this situation. We have not yet paid any money, so there's no refund. I hope to recover my costs for irrigating that half acre all through this dry year, all of my seed, fertilizer, chemicals and other care, and the large amount ot time spent for many years, as well as something for wrecking our nice yard which we use for entertaining. If you have any suggestions we will be grateful. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ UPDATE July 24, 2012 I had orginally given this provider grades of F in every category except price. Since that time the company has been very responsive with personal visits from top management, bringing middle managers as training, and has convinced me that the experience I had was not represenative. The men who have come out were genuinely saddened by this case of poor performance, and do seem to care very much about their customers. They also demonsrtrated that they intend to make every issue right, and if possible to improve the situation beyond what it would have been with the scheduled services. Interestingly, they taught me some things about grub control that I had been mistaken about. Further, as a start, the company reimbursed me for all of my lawn expences for the year so far irrigation. This went beyond my expectation. Further, they will properly reseed much of my lawn, and provide the year's scheduled services without charge. I think this shows maturity and professionalism. They stated believably that this negative experience brought to light some issues, giving them the opportunity to correct them. I have changed each grade to the mid range, and upon completion of the services (some need to happer later in the year) I will modify them upward again. It seems to me that a company who's gone through a bad customer experience and cares about it is likely to provide better than average services going forward. I hope this helps. I wouldn't let this single review keep me from choosing this company.
