Tish Flooring

It went great. Very professional crews installed the vinyl plank and then the carpet.

Don't expect someone to come into the showroom and sell you the most expensive flooring they have. Explain to them your wants and needs and they can most certainly make suggestions and ask the right questions. Each of my properties had different needs and they were able to meet all of them.

From start to finish it was a great experience. Fred was wonderful to work with, as were all the people in the office. Communication couldn’t have been any better. I had also considered going with wood on the stairs and hallway, so Fred had David contact me - he really is the most knowledgeable person in this field I’ve ever spoken with. And HONEST! Instead of selling me the hardwoods, he recommended going with the carpet as best suiting my needs. Finally, installation was excellent. Punctual! Efficient! Professional! Hard working! are all words I would use to describe Pepe and his crew.

I think they were dependable. They had to come back a couple of times with my restoration but the first crew was great. I had different crews since then. I was satisfied with their selection, price and work.

Initially, the process was timely. But after the initial consultation, we were handed off to another project manager and the process became sluggish. After selecting product for all areas from showroom samples, we discovered that the sample we chose for 3 rooms was no longer available. Back to square one. Looked at other samples and made a tentative choice but needed a larger sample. After more waiting finally got the larger sample. This process took from October to December. Many phone calls, emails, trips to the showroom. At last, made our selection and scheduled installation. Now into January. Installers were very skilled and professional although several hours late due to traffic tieups and having to procure the product. All four rooms were installed in a timely fashion and professionally done with a couple of exceptions. When removing and reinstalling the toilet, installer failed to notice a drip leak from the angle valve which washed out the grout behind the toilet. Not a big deal as it was found early. Judicious application of a crescent wrench from my toolbox to snug up the stem packing nut took care of the leak. Installers left grout, so in a few minutes I regrouted the washed out area. No worries. Other little minor things such as kinking the dryer duct, forgetting to turn on the washer hot water tap and correctly routing the washer drain hose were quickly remedied. The door between the utility room and kitchen did drag on the floor after the vinyl plank was installed; being a handy sort, a few strokes with a block plane took care of that issue. Overall we're happy with the look of the new flooring, just didn't believe the process would take so long. We will consider Tish for future projects.

Excellent service from the initial contact with David for the quote to the install. Installers were very pleasant, skilled, and helpful. The lady in the office that schedules and does follow up also very pleasant and good at her job. She called a few days after installation to check on things and to see if ok to bill remaining balance. I mentioned one area that seemed "bouncy." She said someone would be calling me to schedule an inspection of this area. Wondered if I would hear from that person and we did! He is scheduled to come out next week to check it out. We will definitely use them again. The floor looks great!!

Tish was initially very responsible and had the lowest prices around for the flooring I wanted. The installer expressed concerns about the flatness of the floor and we agreed to have his installer check it out. Instead of an installer, I got a construction company that said the floor was garbage and half of it needed to come up for an additional $4k. I would have to work with them directly and they wouldn't put in writing that the finished product would meet Tish's requirements. Sounds like the making of a future conflict. For $20, I got a belt sander belt and fixed the floor flatness problem in 2 hours. 2 other flooring contractors (including the one that got the job) checked it out and said it met the spec 3/16" change over 10'.

I contacted Kish and they acted surprised that I inquired about having carpet installed. But they did schedule for someone to come out and measure. When the guy, James showed up, I gave him an Angieslist coupon, so this negative review shouldn't be a surprise to them. He brought very few samples and I had to go to the showroom, where I did find a carpet I liked. I didn't see any linoleum to my liking and was told if I found any I liked at the major hardward stores they could order it as long as it wasn't exclusive store brand. I found what I wanted at Menards and took the information to the showroom. It was Tarkett brand, which Kish sells that brand but didn't have samples of the two I wanted. I provided my choices of flooring information to the salesman thter at the time and was told James would get back with me. James did call on Oct 11 and leave a voice mail that he wasn't sure he could order my choices of linoleum. I tried calling him twice since and got no responce. I even stopped into the showroom and inquired to which the receptionist unhappily and loudly responded "They don't tell me anything around here." She gave me Jame's phone number which I already had. I last tried calling James on Oct 16 and still have not heard anything. This company acts like they don't care if they sell anything.

We are thrilled with how well everything worked out. 1) We first met Katy at TISH Flooring's location on 86th, got our questions answered, and made choices of materials. We "lived" with three samples for three days and then confirmed with Katy what were our best choices when she came to our house. Katy quickly returned all our calls, even once while we knew she was on vacation! We couldn't have asked for better service thanks to Kathy and the TISH's scheduler, ANNA, working closely with us at every step. 2) Anna and Shane, our installer, always kept us informed concerning what time they would arrive and finish. Given we were trying to do major house repairs while visiting from SD for only three weeks, this type of attention to schedule was crucial and very much appreciated. 3) Shane was a great supervisor. He had trained the younger men who worked with him to do careful, quality work; continually checked their work; and I even heard him discuss with one of them the aesthetics of how the floor would look when finished, The floor looks great. All the special details got careful attention, including putting the flooring under a stone fire place, pre-staining the 1/4 round trim, and figuring out how to make the floor transition to the slightly higher bathroom tiles. 4) Shane himself is a master craftsman of the quality my grandparents had when they built their house years ago. I don't know of anyone who would a) search through a second Home Depot store to find the best treads, b) so carefully work to match the grayness of the stair tread finish so it match the Coretec at the top and bottom of the stairway, and c) put fifteen, thin coats of finish so that the stairs would last a long time. TISH's separate carpet installers for the 9 upstairs steps also came on time and did a great job. The whole house has been transformed. We are delighted with TISH's work.

I feel like we may have been forgotten right after we placed the order as we hadn't heard from scheduling for about a week and a half after placing the order. But in our salesmen's defense, he was dealing with an issue with another customer (and was absolutely professional about it) so I feel like this may have thrown him off. Once scheduled, everything was great!!

We submitted a request for a consultation via their website. It took 4 days for them to respond. They had a discussion about the flooring needs and the salesperson said he would get back after consulting with their vendors. It took another 8 days for him to get back and schedule an appointment. We arranged a time to meet but had to reschedule it as my husband had to go out of town. The person on the phone said that was not a problem and we rescheduled it for two days later. They never showed up and they never contacted us. I don't know how they have gotten so many good reviews.

Turned out great. Very pleased with result and the installers were professional.

m initial call was promptley returned and they showed on time to quote the project. Once I called to hire, it did take a few calls to get them to respond and put me on the schedule. They were late dropping off the flooring and I had to go to work so they had to come back the next day, which they did. They should have called ahead before they arrived to do the work, which they didn't. However, they were on time and got the work done in a timely fashion. Finished floors looking great.

I had really good work with flooring. Six months ago they did the carpet upstairs. I don't remember the cost. When they came out they were very punctual, answered any of my questions that I had. They got the job done in a timely manner.

All was perfect hardwood floor done in one day

Their site said to check them out & that they'd be less than big box stores so we tried em out. They were right! Loved that they came to our house with samples & measured room @ same time. They were able to do bedroom in time we requested and for probably $400+ less than what we priced at Lowes. Great quality & we LOVE it. We'll definitely use them the next time we need to carpet a room.

The room looks fantastic. The installation crew arrived at the appointed time and worked very diligently during the installation process. The only hitch was that the crew was about 5 sq. ft. short of the oak flooring. Tish ordered another carton without additional charge to us. The additional flooring came in a few days later and the crew completed the job. The crew also moved all of the furniture and replaced it when finished. This crew really knew what they were doing. The price difference between going back with carpeting and hardwood flooring was about $1000. We definitely think the cost difference was worth it. Tish honored our 5% Angie's List membership coupon on materials.

The service was excellent by Tish Flooring. The team who laid the hard surface were great as well as the team who laid the carpet.

the show room is nice and have lots of options, the person that approached us was very knowledgeable in their materials, but had no sales skills, i end up hiring someone else with a product that was more expensive but i was giving me reason to spend more money Tish warranty process was what totally killed the deal i don't want to have to sent claims to a manufacturer i want you to take care of the life time warranty.

James came out to do measurements and the estimates. He was quick and efficient in the process. He was transparent about the pricing and came prepared with samples of laminate flooring for us to choose from. This saved us a trip to the show room. Upon accepting the contract, the materials were ordered quickly and efficiently. The materials came within a week and they let the materials sit a few days to get adjusted to climate conditions. They promised that the installation could be done within 3 days. However, due to the efficiency of the workers, they were able to have the underlayment, laminate and transition pieces done within 1 day. The flooring now looks beautiful, feels durable and is extremely functional. Tish is an extremely efficient operation that does good work. I give them my highest recommendation.

It went pretty well, except they did different stair design than originally was on the stairs. I just had my stairs railing painted, and I had to have it repainted.

Very well. They completed the work as expected and on time.

It was a very small area and hard to work in with lots of plumbing in the way but they did a quality job of installation
