Read the past reviews and ratings and thought would be a good company to call. They immediately returned my call and set up appointment. Greg came out and showed us samples in our home the next day and measured and gave us an estimate on the spot. Materials were ordered and appointment was set to install the first of the following week. They came out at 9am and were finished by 5pm. Excellent job and would not hesitate to use them again. Our new basement looks great and we are very happy.

Tish was very responsive from the initial call to installation. Very professional. The quality of carpet was actually better than we thought. Very happy and would recommend them.

The Tish employees and sub-contractors I dealt with were all professional and efficient. I initially emailed Tish to schedule a visit for a salesman. A manager returned my call on a Saturday and the visit was scheduled. The salesman (Gary H) arrived exactly on time, with samples and a deal was agreed upon and executed during that visit. When the carpet arrived the head of installation (Joe) telephoned my house. I was in Florida but I received his message and left him a message that I was on vacation and would call him back the following Monday. I talked with Joe that day and an installation date was agreed upon (Nov 27th). That morning I received a call from the installation crew leader (Tony) to inform me that they were about 30 minutes away. Tony and his three man crew arrived on-time, worked fast but efficiently, and did a great job including honoring a couple of special requests that I made involving movement of my computer and a couple of television set-ups. Upon completion the crew put the furniture exactly where I wanted it and performed an efficient and through clean-up. The crew was professional, friendly, and worked hard to get the job done. They worked from about 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. without a break for lunch. Tish will be the first company I call for any further flooring needs.

We thought they were going to bring some samples, but they did not and we were told we could go to their showroom, which was fine. Very hard to get a hold of at times - a lot of back and forth messages left. The price was OK, but not so sure of the quality of the flooring and did not give us a lot of details regarding installation. Recommended we talk with someone else with the company regarding removal of an old slate floor instead of laying over the slate floor (small entry way section) - that person didn't seem to know what we were calling them for. Seemed to be a lot of confusion. Decided to go with someone else.

Purchase of the carpet and flooring went well: we found what we want, the price was OK, and we set up a date for the installation in a timely manner. The installation was where we had the problems. A sofa an piano had to be moved to install the carpet, and the door moldings got really clobbered when they were moved. When the vinyl flooring was installed the toilet had to be moved; it was placed on an unprotected finished wood floor, and a very nasty black ring was left on the floor when they reinstalled it. Further, one of the carriage bolts on the toilet was broken when the toilet was reinstalled, and I eventually had to replace it. I didn't know of these problems until after the installers had left: when they were moving the furniture in the family room they called me into the bathroom, and when they were working in the bathroom they called me into the family room. They hurried out of the room when they were done, and I didn't have a chance to inspect things. I was in a hurry getting my house ready to sell, so I didn't have time to wrestle with the company about fixing what they had destroyed, and I was able to get things fixed in a few days by myself, so I never contacted the company about the problems, but I would for sure never use them again.

All went well. The floor sloped slightly, and they made a point of leveling it with extra "mud." I wasn't even aware that it sloped and probably wouldn't have noticed.

Tish first sent someone out to give us an estimate. He was easy to work with, and we didn't feel pressured at all. We told him what we were looking for and he brought several samples in to choose from. The price he quoted was very competitive and included everything to get the job completed. When the installers arrived, they wasted no time getting started, and each of the three knew exactly what their assigned tasks were. They worked in different rooms doing different things to get the job completed efficiently. Removal of the old carpet went very quickly, and they did a great job installing the new, with a lot of attention to detail in the finish work. The installers were friendly, professional, and worked very hard to get the job done. Overall a great experience, and I would highly recommend Tish Flooring.

When I called to schedule an estimate, I got immediate assistance. I actually went to their website and filled out the form, but then just called to schedule. They came out and took measurements and gave me an estimate right there. The estimate was a great deal, so therefore, I decided to go with them. It was rather disappointing when the installer came out and told me there was an additional cost because the person they sent out to do the estimate did not factor in a specific cost, requiring more material (more cost). Because we were anxious to move into our new home, we just moved forward with the install. Originally they told us it would take about 3 days, but it ended up taking 5 days total. They could not finish in time because they did not order and bring enough wood to complete the job. Other than all that, the installers were GREAT! They were very professional and worked very diligently. They also worked long hours in order to complete the job on time, even though it did not happen because of the miscalculation of ordering the hardwood floors. I really wished that they would have given a proper estimate, so that there was not a surprise to my budget when we decided to go with this company, but the service that they provided was really great. The floors look beautiful. I would use this company again, but I would make sure they give a more accurate estimate next time. Because we will not do that again.

Monday, on my way to the title company and the closing on my new, previously owned home, my realtor and I did a quick walk through. I was horrified, depressed and disgusted at seeing the condition of the carpeting. My realtor suggested that I call Tish since she had experienced positive results with them. I called Tish from my car as I left the title company. Wes met me at the house that afternoon and offered several samples. I chose to upgrade to a carpeting that he needed to order. He assured me that he could very possibly have it installed before the end of the week. I was doubtful that the carpeting could be installed before the movers arrived with my furniture on Friday. Thursday evening I received a call that my carpet was in and could be installed Friday morning. He assured me that the installers would be finished before the movers arrived. As the movers were loading the truck at my old house the installers were removing the old carpeting and installing the new carpeting at my new home. They completed the job one hour before the movers arrived! The carpet is beautiful and beautifully installed. They left me the remnants and cleaned up after themselves. I did not obtain estimates and do not know if I could have gotten a better price somewhere else. However, the prompt response to my need to have beautiful new carpeting as soon as possible was priceless! I would definitely call Tish Flooring again.

It took three days to complete the work. The workmen showed up everyday on time. They were polite and very easy to deal with. They left everything neat and clean. Tish even worked with me to get 14 month interest free financing. I wasn't planning to finance but it was easy and since it was interest free it was a nice bonus. I would absolutely call Tish first when I have flooring needs in the future.

Tish Flooring's rep came, samples in hand, and spent a good deal of time with me. I was looking to replace the exact carpet I already had. They located and priced it for me. They also provided other less expensive options. The servicemen came on time and did a nice job installing the carpet. They cleaned up after themselves and left the remnants with me. I had priced out the same carpet elsewhere and Tish came in well under the other estimates I received. I will use them again.

Could not have been a better experience from the first phone call to the finished job.

There were 3 installers, a father and two sons, and they worked diligently for the whole day. They are professionals and knew exactly what they were doing. We have a big opening between the living room and dining room and we didn't want the seam to go through there. Tom, the father, did some drawings and figured out a way to lay the carpet so that the seams wouldn't be in high-traffic areas. It was a rainy day, but they were very careful about tracking dirt in. They were really thorough in cleaning up and vacuuming after they were done to make sure no loose staples or razors were left behind. Our initial contact was with Dave, who provided the quote and showed us the samples. The carpet looked different from the sample we'd seen after it was installed, so we called Dave about coming in to check the sample. He offered to come out to our house and was happy to make sure that we had no doubts about the product that they had used. We were totally pleased with the new carpet and with their service. Their estimate was also lower than the other 2 estimates we had received.

Tish Flooring was recommended by our real estate agent. We had shopped around a several different stores and several people had come to our home for an estimate. Harry came to our home to do an evaluation and estimate. He asked me a few questions and based on my answers, recommended several different products. We did go to their showroom to do a little more comparison shopping. We also wanted to purchase laminate to install ourselves which Harry did not bring to our home initially. We purchased about 1600 sqft. of carpet for the entire second floor of our house and for our stairs. We also purchased about 550 sqft of beautiful laminate to install ourselves in two rooms on the first floor of our house. Harry agreed to have his team remove the downstairs carpet even though they were not installing the floors at no additional cost. The team arrived early and got to work immediately. They indicated it might be a 2 day job since it was such a large amount of carpet to be installed. They did it all in 1 day! The installers were very nice and professional. The team did a wonderful job, and it looks just as beautiful almost a year after it was installed. They offered the lowest price by far! The price we paid for the carpet with installation and the supplies for the laminate was still less than some of the other quotes we received for carpet and installation alone. Even long after the purchase was made and the work was done, Harry continued to be happy to help answer any questions we had via email. Tish Flooring exceeded my expectations and I would happily hire them again without a second thought!

Excellent from start to finish. My project was small, being only one room, but I never felt that my business was any less than top priority with anyone at Tish. Salesman Wes did an in-home consultation which was excellent. He was very thorough and unhurried as we discussed my options. I made my purchase then, and the carpet was installed about a week later. (Probably could've been sooner, but I wanted a Friday install date.) I got a couple of confirmation calls between the sale and the installation, and installers arrived on time and were very professional and courteous. The new carpet looks GREAT and I'm thrilled! I feel my price was quite competitive, even with the big box stores, and considering the personal service is an even better value. I had one small glitch with my billing, where my credit card was charged the full $778 on installation day, when it only should have been charged $389, since I'd paid 50% by check at the time of the sale. I called right away upon noticing it, and had to leave a message...but I was called back promptly and the issue was resolved. I'd say within 15-20 mins of my call - very quickly! Overall excellent provider. I look forward to doing business with them again.

Friday, August 10, David Kirsch from Tish Flooring met with us in our home to provide an estimate for the work described above. Mr. Kirsch was punctual, professional and had a sample of the precise material we were looking for to match existing laminate in our kitchen and family room. David made measurements and within minutes provided us with a precise quote. That same day we were able to make a tentative appointment for the work to be completed. The installer was to call us the next day to make a firm appointment for installation which was subsequently scheduled for Tuesday, August 14 at 8:30 am. At the appointed day and time, Shawn Lewis and an associate arrived, introduced themselves, and immediately started removing the carpet and padding. They quickly set up a small power saw outside for custom trimming. As our house sits on a concrete pad, preparing the flooring took some extra effort. However, Shawn Lewis and his associate worked efficiently and began installing the laminate. All the areas, less the trim, were completed by 5:00 pm. Shawn asked us if they could return the following day, Wednesday, to finish the trim rather than working later into the evening. As that was our preference also, we agreed that they would return at 8:30 am the next day. They arrived promptly on time. It took about two hours for the trim to be completed. My wife and I were VERY happy with the result. Shawn and his associate were very skilled and did an excellent installation. This was a repeat experience for us with Tish Flooring as two years ago we had them replace some carpet in our condo. In both the past and current instance, Tish Flooring was accommodating, provided an excellent service and product for a fair price and stood behind their work. There is no question that we will use Tish Flooring again for future flooring projects.

I first visited the showroomon Georgetown road and picked out what I thought would be a good carpet. Tish employees were very prompt and professional in the installation and delivery of my carpet. Within a few months the carpet began to fray and not even stand up anymore. I was sure I was out of luckbut not at all. Fred sent some one out to look at the carpet from the mill and the gentlman stated that it was just the nature of that carpet but nothing was wrong and no defects. That is when the amazing thing happened. By now I was sure I was just going to have to live with this carpet but Fred Tishler took it upon himself to make it right. He credited me and let me choose a much nicer and better quality carpet. He explained to me what to look for and why the new carpet would not have the same issues etc. He was patient and indeed went above and beyond when he absolutely did not have too! I have never been so impressed with a company than I was with Tish flooring. Whenever I need any flooring I would never think of calling anyone else. Fred and Suzy both care very much that their customers are happy. Their installation crew is also top notch! I am a very satisfied customer. Fred made sure I was completely happy with my replacement carpet and i am. It is beautiful and holding up wonderfully!!! Thanks you Fred and Suzy!!!!!

We needed the carpet replaced on very short notice. Tish was very accommodating in regards to our scheduling issues. The carpet is high quality and installed professionally. I didn't have time to compare prices so, their price might have been really good...I just expected less. Overall, I am happy with their service and installation. And very pleased with how willing they were to work within our time constraints!

Highly recommeded by relatives, we called Tish flooring and Fred Tishler arranged to measure our home. Fred showed up for the appointment on the appointed date and at the agreeded upon time. Fred measured the home and then showed us samples of carpet. We made our selections and Fred emailed our quotation within the next 24 hours. Because we had interior painting going on, we made arrangements for the carpet to be installed after the paintering was complete. Tish's crews arrived on time and worked throughout the two days to complete the job. Very professional installation, moved and then reset furniture, cleaned up every day, and were very pleasant thoughout the installation. I would recommend and/or use Tish Flooring again in the future.

If the price is low beware know you will not get a quality carpet, or pad. Research all your options for carpet. Don't purchase Shaw carpet. If you have to have the installers come back within 9 months to stretch the carpet, you will always have a problem with ripples in the carpet. Job was rushed and finished within four hours. Invest in a quality carpet, and pad when shopping for carpet.
