Tish Flooring

Our neighbor had Tish replace the carpet in their house and had a very good experience, and we liked their carpet. Had the same project manager - David - come to our house. Originally was just going to do the 1st floor but the price was so good that we decided to do 2nd floor plus the stairs down to the partially finished basement - got the Dreamweaver carpet. Two weeks later they were installing. Tom ran the crew - they were all very courteous and polite and did not mess around, they got right to work. Plus they came when they said they would and called to give us warning before arriving. After day one they completely cleaned everything up. Day 2 they knocked the rest of it out and again vacuumed everything up, leaving the neatly rolled excess carpet in the garage. Can't see any seams, all of the edges are perfect, can't feel tack strips at "transition" areas (wood to carpet). The carpet is a lot more plush than our last and some of the doors don't close as easy, but that's actually a plus for us as some of the doors had to propped open. Had it been too tight they would have shaved the bottom of the doors for a fee but we did not need it. It was a great experience and I've already recommended them to two friends.

We talked to Diane first at the store and looked over some samples. We described what we wanted as far as color, wear and price and she offered suggestions. She then came out to the house twice (once after the walls were repainted to make sure the carpet colors would still work). That was a great idea, because we ended up altering the choice slightly. She worked to get the carpet installed before our move date, and answered all questions. The installation went smoothly and we are very happy with the new carpeting. I like the way the price is quoted because it includes everything, including the old carpet removal and disposal, taxes etc.

We are very happy with the job Tish did - the sales and scheduling experience was efficient and professional. Zach and his crew worked unbelievably hard for 5 days - you will be hard-pressed to find someone with a stronger work ethic than Zach! The floors look great - thanks again!

They did a fantastic job!! From Tom, my salesman to the scheduler to the installers, everyone did a great job! Tom came out when he said he would, estimated the job, they received the carpet ahead of schedule, the installers did fantastic work!! I saved several thousand $ over using one of the big box stores and had better service and a better quality carpet. I recommend Tish to anyone needed carpet or flooring!

The installers arrived on time. They worked constantly while they were here. They were careful in moving the furniture to not nick it or the walls. The stairway is beautifully done. The carpeting is tucked in under the riser making it loo very tailored and finished. There is only one piece of carpeting that was not replaced at this time and I will definitely call Tish when we decide to replace it.

This was a great experience. I explained to Greg what I was looking for and he brought samples with him that met my criteria exactly as to product quality and price. He was very knowledgeable about the products and very easy to work with. I was able to schedule the work within two weeks of signing the contract and they were able to do the demo and installation in two days. They did a very good job on the installation and they also cleaned up after themselves, including vacuuming the newly laid carpet. I have never had a carpet installer do that! Everyone I spoke with at Tish was very accommodating. I highly recommend them.

We were so impressed with Tish. They contacted us within hours of our original inquiry and had someone out the the house a few hours later that day to give an estimate. They were able to schedule and complete the work within 1 week of the estimate. The employees are all extremely pleasant and it was great to work with them. We will definitely be using Tish in the future for any needs. Keep up the outstanding work!

We visited Tish Flooring on the recommendation of a Realtor who has extensive experience with residential real estate. The staff at Tish Flooring are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The show room is packed with flooring samples and choices. They offered advice on color, texture, padding, carpet weight and carpet material. When we first went into Tish we thought we knew the exact carpet we wanted. When we left Tish Flooring we had ordered a different carpet which was significantly different that our first thoughts. The carpet we ordered is a heavier weight with a better pad and cost approximately 15% less than our original selection. We are completely happy in our dealings with Tish Flooring and I will return for some floor coverings in a rental property.

The owners and staff are sooo customer-service oriented. They go out of their way to make sure you get what you want and that you are wholly satisfied. The installers were great, too. No nonsense, they arrived and got right to it, quiet, efficient.... A couple of hours later, they were done and floors looked great! They cleaned up afterward and were gone. Before charging the balance due, Tish called to make sure we were completely satisfied. We were, of course. I will certainly used them again next time...

I could say enough kind words about the service and value we had received from Tish Flooring. The owner (Fred) came to our house with samples for us to choose from, then he later came to our new house we were buying to measure each room one by one. As the time drew closer for us to close on our house, we were able to work with the head installer (Tony) in coordinating efforts in getting the carpet installed on the day we were closing. It was very important for them to come early in the morning to start tearing up the old carpet and work late since our movers were coming the next day. Not only were they able to finish before our move, but they stayed very late (11 p.m.) to make sure that the carpet was installed and swept. We were extremely pleased with the service they provided not only from the installation stage, but during the sales process and they were always willing to work with me on getting everything that we needed. The value, quality of work, and excellent customer service all were top notch and I would recommend them to all of my friends and family.

The service tech was nice, but she only brought 4 carpet samples and didn't explain anything to us. It looked like she just brought the cheapest samples they had. When she got back to me with the quote she provided no detail about the carpet we liked (we made a decision based solely on color) or the pad type. I had to ask her all of these questions (which i felt were standard questions since we aren't carpet professionals). Come to find out she quoted us for poor carpeting and a lower grade pad than what we read online was even able to pass inspection. After she sent me the cost I never heard back from them.

I was very impressed. The sales guy came to our home with plenty of samples and in 1.5 hours time we had picked our carpet, the sales guy measured the whole house and we set a date for installation. Then when the time came to install the carpet, they called ahead to give us an exact time and that'swhen they showed up. It took 2 days, during which the house was a maze of moved furniture and old and new carpet, Despite this, the 3 guys who installed the carpet were so professional and pleasant it wasn't the trauma I was expecting. In the end, they did a marvelous job. The carpet looks great and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves.

Great. They are a great company to deal with. Came out very timely, always had good follow up, very nice people to deal with and reasonably priced. I would definitely use them again.

We contacted Tish based on their great Angie's List reviews and the fact that they came to you for shop at home services. Our salesman Wes was great to help us through selections on carpet and giving us a very high quality carpet at a very competitive price. He was also very helpful in selecting vinyls for our two baths that were cost effective, yet modern. The pricing and scheduling took a little longer to tie down as Wes was very busy, but once we completed that and the work was scheduled,Tony and the installation crew were outstanding. These guys really knew their stuff and did a great job laying the carpet throughout the house and installing the vinyl in one piece in both baths (no seams, amazing!). We have received many compliments on the carpet since installation and our sons frequently now lay on the floor as they love how plush and comfortable it is. The baths look great as well. These guys bring it all to you, don't waste your time running around to the big box stores or carpet stores, one call and you're done. Great work.

Workers arrived early in morning on day scheduled and worked diligently for four and a half days. First they had to tear out old tile, then prepare cement board and then set new tile, (about 380 sq ft). After tile was set, new quarter round was stained to match woodwork and installed. Workers were pleasant and very professional. They went beyond the estimate and even replaced some floor registers at no additinal cost.

They really wanted to know exactly what we wanted. They brought me something reasonable priced, he explained the details why you need certain types of padding. I felt like he educated me throughout the all time.

It went well. The carpetting looks good. They were professional and friendly. The only negative comment I would make is that the work was scheduled for one day and it took 2 days. I modified my schedule to work from home the day they were completing the work because we aren't comfortable having people in the house without us. When they arrived (around 8 or 9), they said they didn't know how big the job was and they were a man short. At 3, they were done for the day and had to leave, with the job partially done. I had planned to work in the office the next day so I had to rearrange my schedule agian. It was inconvenient and it would have helped if we had booked it as a two day job from the start.

MISERABLY!!!!!! I don't know what has happened to this guy? I have known the owner for a long time, used him several times, and would NEVER in the past have written a report on him like I'm going to now, EVEN THOUGH the last time I used his services, I very, very respectively called him and informed him that his installers were late, dirty, and took 3 hours for "lunch." When they came back from lunch, they stunk of liquor and marijuana. I DID NOT complain about him in 2010 for this even though his guys did a lousy job of installing the floor AND left glue and dirt in many different places. I kept quiet and called him personally so he could deal with it and I did my own clean up....out of respect for him, my so-called friend, and his business. This time, however, because I had mold in the house, the floor had to be replaced and the claim would be paid through Insurance. Tish told me they don't do insurance claims, and I said that because I had done business with him in the past, I wanted to give him the business, IF HE WANTED IT. He pondered it for awhile and then reluctantly accepted the job. There was some hold-up in receiving the flooring, but that wasn't a big deal to me. When they installed the floor, everything went well and the workers did a nice job. But when they were finished, the owner demanded payment IMMEDIATELY. I told him that because it was an insurance claim, I would pay him AS SOON AS I received a check from the insurance company. I called the adjuster and told him that Tish was getting impatient about receiving payment and the adjuster informed me that they were backed up because of all the tornadoes in the fall and all the snow/ice claims in January and February. I asked the adjuster to call Tish and reassure him that he would be paid, and he did. A couple of days later, I got an email from Tish saying if I didn't pay up by the end of the week that he would put a lien on my house. I responded back in an email, a phone call, and another call from the adjuster that he did NOT need to do that because HE WOULD BE PAID; people without any homes, or people with water a foot deep in their homes were just a little more urgent. Evidently, Tish didn't care about anybody but himself because the following week, his lawyer delivered the lien to me. Luckily, the lawyer was extremely accommodating to me, and after explaining all of this to him, he told me that as soon as the insurance check came to me, to bring it to his office and they would remove, legally, the lien on my house.....which is exactly what he did. At least the attorney for Tish had more compassion on not only my situation, but the people with no homes at all. He understood that my hands were tied, I was up front and honest with Tish and said from the get-go that I didn't have the money to pay for a $15,000.00 claim but my insurance was a good and upstanding company and he would be paid.

Very professional, did great work on both carpet and linoleum! They installed without any problems, the linoleum was caulked and level, they did have issues getting the toilet seated in one bathroom however that was partially due to age. I purchased a new toilet and it installed without issue?not really their fault.

They were professional. They seemed to know what they were doing. No problems with the installation. The only problem I had was that they initial appointment had to be rescheduled three times. It took a little longer than they had planned because of this to complete the job. They quality of the workmanship and the quality of the product is good. I would recommend them.

Upon scheduling my appointment, the gentleman I spoke with asked what I was looking for in a carpet so he could bring the proper samples along. The samples he brought in were spot on to what I was looking for and he didn't bring in too many which was great because while searching through carpets at a showroom the selection can be a bit overwhelming. After choosing our carpet, the company call within the week, and it was installed within 10 days of ordering. We couldn't be more happy with the entire process. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The installers were very professional and did a great job cleaning up afterwards.
