Paula was absolutely stellar. My entire family was relocating from NW and NE IN to Fishers, which includes three homes, three families, and four boys ages 3-11. My mom found Paula on Angie's list and referred her to the rest of us, and we were all very thankful! Paula worked with our crazy schedules, the fact that we were coming in from out of town, and that we wanted to live as close to each other as possible, although we each had different wants and needs in a house and location. I am extremely detail oriented and ask a ton of questions and want to look at every single nook and cranny of every house. Paula was always patient and answered all of my questions. We often had all four children with us for hours of home views, and Paula had a way with the kids that made the whole day better for all of us. She never made it seem that the kids were a burden and took their needs into consideration (snacks, restroom breaks, etc) when planning out our days of viewing. At the end of our home buying, my son asked if Paula could be his mommy too. Paula was very knowledgeable about all of the aspects of purchasing a home, which was needed as I was a first time home buyer. Paula is the single most responsive person I have ever worked with in any facet. She always either answers your call or returns your call or sends a text or email right away. This made the home buying experience extremely pleasant as I never felt I had a question that wasn't answered. When we encountered some issues during the closing process Paula accomplished nothing short of a miracle to get me the house I wanted. Everyone else had given up on the transaction (including me) and Paula called me asked me if I still wanted the house, when I replied yes, Paula then did everything she could for days and managed to bring the closing back to life and we ended up closing and all went well. If it wasn't for Paula not giving up when things became difficult I would not be living in my amazing house right now. Paula also maintained the same level of responsiveness after we closed when a few questions came up about my warranty. Paula exceeded all of my expectations throughout the home buying process, she is simply amazing.

She was available whenever we needed her. She was very helpful, making sure she was explaining everything all long the way. Since we were all from out of town she stepped up to help us out in many ways. I was a first time buyer, so I needed a lot of explanation on how to accomplish the task of, looking for, finding, making an offer, negotiating a deal, setting up an inspection, and finalizing the deal. When closing day came, it was a little sad because she had almost become part of our family. Then she got going on my sister's house. Hopefully once my sister gets in her home, my other daughter will be ready to start looking.

Paula is phenomenal. I work a crazy schedule on the third shift and Paula was always keeping me updated any way she could, via text, call, or email. I needed to get into a house before my apartment lease was up and even when there were some set backs due to the seller Paula worked day and night to get me into the house on time. I am a very young first time home buyer and the entire process was very daunting, but Paula walked me through ever step. I was able to use some of her contacts for things needing to be done on the house and she was not pushy when I used some of my own. I am incredibly happy with my new home and I owe that to Paula. She listened to what I wanted and guided me in the right direction. I would encourage any YUP to use Paula as she worked with my crazy schedule and was very experienced with first time home buyers. Paula was amazing! We sold our first house and bought our second with her, and we were impressed with her through every aspect of the process. Although I have only interacted with a few real estate agents, I interact with quite a few professionals, and Paula is probably the most knowledgeable, prepared, accessible, and reliable individual I've had the pleasure to work with. In both the buying and selling transactions, she took care of everything and made what could have been a really stressful process easy for us. She was immediately accessible to us, answering every call or e-mail promptly. Even though she must be extremely busy with all the great referrals she's getting through this website, it never felt that way to us. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend her, and plan to use her for any future real estate transaction.

Paula listed our home and coordinated all contacts, showings, and the closing. She is very professional and knowledgable. She was very easy to relate to and to work with. Paula assisted us in setting the initial listing price and subsequent adjustments without ever pressuring us to lower the price in order to gain a "quick sale" as some agents are prone to do. The house was initially listed in the dead of winter and the market was still depressed, so the actual sale did not occur until the spring recovery when showings increased dramatically. Paula provided timely feedback from two on-line real estate search sites and on all showings by proactively contacting showing agents for their comments. She even regularly inspected our home and set it up for showings while we spent a month in Mexico! We would definitely recommend Paula Smith to anyone wishing to list their home.

I could go on and on about Paula and the services she provided during for the marketing, selling & closing of the real estate transaction of our home.........but I am not that long winded. Bottom line is...............she is extremely professional in all that she does............from her professional appearance, follow-up before, during & after the sale of the home is outstanding. She keeps you extremely well informed through emails, phone calls or text messages..........uses all of the latest marketing methods for great visibility & presentation of your home. She has a delightful personality, is smart and has a GREAT Marketing sense when it comes to selling homes. You have complete confidence in her because of her ideas & methods of marketing. I could not think of anything else that she could have done to help sell our home. She works very hard and is excellent at what she does. If we ever sell a home again............Paula will be our agent.

Paula is a great realtor! This was the first time I sold a house so I was clueless about the whole process. She made it so easy. She came prepared to our first meeting, explained how everything worked, and took the time to answer my questions. Throughout the whole process my texts and emails were answered quickly. The sale of my house was not easy,and in no way did this have anything to do with Paula! It was small for a two story, needed some updates, not the neutral that most people want, etc. Regardless of this, Paula stepped in and I got some offers! Then the problems with potential buyers not being able to get financing started. After every set back it seemed Paula worked harder and was more determined to sell my house! My house sold after a lot of hard work on her end. I definitely recommend Paula:)

Paula is an outstanding realtor. My house sold in 34 days! I was thrilled! She arrived at our first meeting fully prepared with comps, and a keen awareness of what my house (and others like mine) would sell at. She was exactly right! She was always punctual, stayed close in touch, excellent at responding quickly to all my phone calls, and always confirmed appointments with me directly. Her follow through on every aspect of the listing and the sale was impeccable. At our closing, even the other realtor told her she was the most efficient and organized realtor she'd ever met. Paula is compassionate, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. I had a challenging furnace issue and she very adeptly helped navigate that. She cares about doing right by you. As a sellers agent, one thing about Paula and her services really stood out. The presentation she did on our home and in our mibor listing was far and above the norm. We were also looking for a new home, and were amazed at the quality of our listing through Paula's services compared to the listings of homes that we were viewing. We were looking to purchase a home in Martinsville, an area in which Paula was not familiar, but she agreed to be our buyers agent as well. I cannot express how pleased we are with the outcome. Her advice and research on our new home not only helped to clarify issues for us, but saved us thousands of dollars. We immediately like Paula because of her interest in us a people as well as customers. Our experience with a realtor is limited to Paula and I must say she took care of everything. Her initial listing appointment led to an agreement for us to hire her as our agent. Her pictures and text in the listing were correct, complete, and impeccable. She included our home in Open Houses and ensured that we saw as many homes as we wanted to see when we were looking for a new home to move to. Paula was careful to assure that all items that needed to be attended to throughout the process were completed correctly and efficiently. There were extra considerations when we decided to deal with a FSBO transaction, leading Paula to research options and provide appropriate assistance. We found Paula to be a wonderful realtor and we greatly valued her assistance and advice throughout the process.

At our first meeting she was friendly, professional, honest, and knowledgeable. We had showings booked after being on the market for three hours and got an offer within the first week. This, of course, left us in a hurry to find a new home. Paula worked on Memorial Day, evenings, and weekends to be available for us. During showings she gave her opinions if asked but was never pushy. She pointed out things, helped us compare the houses, joked and/or consoled us when we thought we'd never find a house, held the baby or brought juice boxes for our kids if they were along, and changed our online house search profile quickly among many other things during the search. Once we found a house she helped us navigate through the stress. She seemed as heartbroken as I was when we thought we wouldn't get the house (another possible offer) and stayed up past midnight helping us on the stressful but successful night we finally got the accepted offer. She was helpful referring us to various other wonderful professionals when we asked- mortgage broker, house inspector, and even a cleaning service. She texted, called or e-mailed daily to check in and answer all our questions. She assisted us in getting a double closing date and had been wise enough to recommend we ask for a couple extra days possession of the old house so that we wouldn't have to move twice. She even gave us a gift at closing because I think she was just as happy as we were for our family. She was truly great to work with and I would recommend her to anyone.

Paula was very professional from start to finish. Our home was in a tough neighborhood with lots of homes for sale. Paula was able to market our home to accentuate those things that set it apart from the rest and gave us advice on how to stage it so it showed well. She also gave us realistic expectations and honest feedback. Our home was on the market for about two months and she was diligent about providing feedback from the showings. She worked for us all hours of the days, nights, and weekends. When we got an offer, she was quick to respond and work through the details. She then helped us quickly find a new home that ticked all of our boxes and was immensely helpful in the negotiating process. She worked very hard up to closing coordinating all of the details, including two closings on the same day. Buying and selling your home can be an emotional roller coaster, and is not for the faint of heart. It was good to have Paula there each step of the way for advice, for guidance, and to share the ups and downs with. I don't plan to do this again anytime soon, but if I did, I would ask for her help.

We went for a year with a brand name realtor trying to sell a house in Fishers. Found Paula on Angie's List and it was immediately clear she deserves her rating. We closed on the house last Wednesday and her help and individual attention was a huge help and I truly believe the house would still be on the market without her.

Paula was great helping us through the process of not only buying our first home, but doing so long distance from California. From house hunting online and in person to making an offer, a backup offer, finally getting the home we loved, and negotiating repairs with the seller, she was always helpful. She's obviously great at what she does, as she's always very busy. But despite being busy she was always prompt and responsive to our many questions and needs. She also really seemed to know the neighborhoods in the city, which was very important to us. Finally, she's just a really nice person. House hunting is stressful. Whether you are dealing with your realtor in person, on the phone, or over emails and text messages, you might as well make it someone you enjoy interacting with. Paula fits the bill.

My son recently bought a home with Paula as his realtor and these are his remarks: Paula led me step by step in my first home purchase. I picked her based off of her Angie's List reviews, and she has a spectacular reputation for a reason! Paula is very kind, patient, detail oriented, personable, punctual, communicative, and these only begin to outline the reasons why she was a wonderful realtor to work with. I was looking at homes on the south east side of Indy, and although she is located in Carmel she was more than willing to show as many houses as I wanted to look at. She was very punctual for our showings. In each home we set foot in she was constantly pointing out features and downfalls that I otherwise would have overlooked. She gave me her honest opinions on homes without swaying me too much either way. At no point did I feel as though she was pushing me to move quickly. If she got wind that there was another offer being placed she would inform me but never push me to put in an offer. I truly felt Paula wanted to find the right house for me, not just any house that would do. Throughout my house search I asked her to change the parameters of my online search which she always did within a day (generally within hours even). The second house I walked through ended up being the one I bought, but that wasn't until nearly a month later and many many showings later. This particular house was a short sale so the fun was just beginning. Paula was extremely helpful walking me through the purchase agreement and counter offer. From offer to closing it was 67 days. Almost every one of those 67 days I heard from Paula (whether it be email, text, or phone call). I always felt secure knowing that Paula was on my side working as hard as she could to get me to closing. During those days Paula was a wealth of knowledge finding an inspector, getting my home owners insurance prepared, and any other things that came up. It was mostly a waiting game waiting for the seller's bank, but Paula was diligent with checking on the status of things. Although I am not a patient person, I did not worry about getting through the process because I knew Paula was taking care of everything. When the day finally came to close she met me the day prior and let me do a final walk through of the home and she also helped me through the HUD-1 prior to closing. As a first time home buyer I couldn't have asked for a better realtor! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

Paula is the ultimate professional. When I contacted her about possibly selling my home for me she "took the ball and ran with it." We met, she provided me with answers to all my questions (my first time selling a home) and made sure I knew all the positives and negatives of the selling process. It was very evident she knew what she was doing. Once hired, Paula provided fliers for the inside and outside of the house, placed my home on the internet, and used all media available to her to sell it. Thanks to her diligence, I had an offer on my home within ten days of placing it on the market. Paula walked me through the bargaining process and the house was sold in 7 weeks' time. Since I was out of town during the sale, she kept in constant contact with me via phone and the internet. I knew exactly where we were in the process and what was going on with the sale. We began working with Paula in March of 2011. We simply started by looking for another house. She did not push us at all to list our house and was more than happy to show us houses. About two months later we decided to list with her. She sold our house within 10 weeks of putting it on the market. She was very professional and positive throughout the whole experience. She never pushed us on making any decisions. When we suddenly sold our house she dropped all her weekend plans and showed us 16 houses in two days. One of which became the home we purchased. Overall, she showed us between 30 and 40 houses with no pressure at all to buy or find the right one. She also fought very hard for our best interest in the negotiation process for both our house we sold and the one we bought. Overall I feel she is more than just a realtor for us but also a friend.

She was amazing and very patient with me. I wanted to look at anything and everything and was very picky in what I wanted. She was there with us every step of the way explaining the entire process. So, this fall when we decided we were selling our home there was no question who we were going to call. Paula was out the next day with all the information we would need to start the process. She informed us of the new market and what was going on in our neighborhood. We put the house officially for sale the end of August. All our pictures online and on the flyers were amazing. Looking on mibor was a perfect representation of our house. Paula was very easy to talk to about making decisions for open houses, price adjustments, and other questions related to the houses. Even in this economy and slow season Paula got us showings right away. When we got an offer Paula did great negotiations and we reached a deal perfect for us. She helped us with everything we needed for closing and was really there for us through the whole process! We will definitely use her again!
