Description of Work: My computer had so many viruses. They kept it longer than they had told me. Howeever they did call me to inform me of their progress. When I got my computer home, it still had pop-ups. I called them right back and he fixed my computer by getting into it while we talked on the phone.I was pleased with the results, but it took longer than I expected. I would recommend them.

 + -1 moreI stopped in his office and asked for an estimate to remove the computer virus that had locked up my computer. It was extremely reasonable so I left my laptop with him and he completely fixed it. He also added an alert so my son couldn't go to sites I don't approve. I believe I was without my computer for just 1 week and was very happy with the results. Gary was very interested in my problems, listened to me, and found solutions that work for my family. I WILL use him again in the future.

He was knowledgable and explained what he was doing to fix the computer. He put anti-virus software on the computer and it is working well.

 + -1 moreThe Computer Guy technicians gave me an idea on what the problem was when I dropped the laptop off. They called two days later with an estimate for the damaged screen connection and ordered the parts. They had the laptop for two weeks while I was on vacation. When I returned from vacation, the computer was done. I am not sure if the repair took two weeks because I was gone, or if I would have been without the computer for two weeks if I was home. That is my only concern. Overall, a great experience.

 + -1 moreGreat! I think this guy is fair and honest. I wouldn't take my computers anywhere else!
Description of Work: I called the owner for an estimate on repairing a laptop that I had bounced off my bed. The casing was cracked and the battery appeared to be having issues. It was a warranty repair through my insurance. I thought this would make it easy, but it appears that most of the usual suspects (best buys, Geek squad, staples, etc) won't touch it the moment you mention insurance. The owner of the computer guy offered same day service for in shop repair. I took it in and he worked it in within the hour. He pointed out what he felt we needed repairs, checked the hard drive andmemory for damage, and confirmed that there was a problem with the battery (he also advised that my insurance wound most likely not cover it and he was right). The estimate was fair and he didn't try to tack on items. I did not have the work done because I started using my I-pad, but would most certainly use this gentleman in the future and if I decide to repair my laptop rather than replace it.. Whenever anyone ask me about computer repairs, this is the guy I recommend.

 + -1 moreI had a particularly nasty trojan virus that basically shut down my computer. I could not even launch in safe mode. Paul and his team were able to fix the problem, remove other concerns, and install anti-virus software. They even thoroughly cleaned the inside of the computer. They called every day in the afternoon with a status update. I have used other "box store" computer service in the past with less success...I highly recommend them. Great Job!!!!

 + -1 moreIt was great because it was hard to depend on others to do this, and he was able to do this. I was real impressed with him and will use him again. If he offers classes, I will take them with him. He came in and spent an hour extra longer than scheduled, which he did not charge me for, because his work was not compatible with my computer. I was trying to get him to help me with an MP3 player as well, but my computer was not equipped to handle this. He worked on each issue several different ways until things worked out for me. He is real fast, to the point, explained things well and politely, and made sure I understood everything before he left. I appreciated this greatly. He dresses professionally and he was on time both occasions.
Description of Work: He made a house call to fix my computer, set up the printer, and update lots of things. He has come out twice.
