Terminix - Indianapolis -Termite & Pest Control

from start to finish i was treated with compassion, respect and TLC. this is a very emotional and upsetting problem for anyone to have to go thru. i called and the next day Jason Kuehnert came to my home, he was wonderful, we sat down and i showed him the bag ( Ziploc with a stuff animal in it covered in bed bugs ) and a pill bag with one from my pillowcase. he quickly looked at it and placed it out of my site, then he asked to leave the table to inspect my home and even asked me before entering my bedroom. he came back to the table and we started talking about the process. i asked him how bad do i have them and he smiled and did not reveal more info than necessary. believe me, you don't want to know. he was very calm as i was very scared and we got everything taken care of in order to rid my home of these bugs. i got the treatment, the rapid freeze, 2 sets of bedding encased, an one year pest control contract and a renewable bed bug addendum for one year. 4 days later at 8am, Wasfi Tadros, also a wonderful person, entered my home and gave me the run down on what he was about to do and what time i could return to my home. he would be my tech till we were rid of the bugs. he returned every 5-7 days for 3 weeks ( we had a large sectional couch that was heavily infested ) then we went 2 weeks with no issues and Wasfi came and re-inspected, we were go to go! I want to say that i was very embarrassed about telling anyone that we had bed bugs, but Terminix as a whole made me understand that this can happen to anyone. Wasfi and Jason made me what to educate myself on bed bugs and once i did, i was not scared anymore! i was mad! and i was not going to let these bugs beat me! I would wait till dark and inspect my home with the help of my 2 cats and my flashlight. I told them "lets go bugging" and here they come! please understand, if you see one bug call terminix asap, they will do a free inspection. I saw 4 total from December 3rd to March 16th and did not know what they were. Termimix will take care of you and give you the best warranty. my name is Ann Hicks, and I had bed bugs!!!!

One of the things that I don't like about this company in Fishers is that it is difficult to telephone them because no where on their contract is their phone number. The phone number listed in the telephone directory does not ring into their office. The rep business card lists the cell phone number for the rep and I have called that number and get their voice mail and they don't return the call. You list the terminix at West 74th st but I did not deal with this branch. I dealt with the company at 9729 Kincaid Drive, Fishers, IN 46038. I had called this branch back in November, 2014 because I had some pest control service. When they notified me that they were coming for their quarterly service on 2/19 they said the termite inspection was free - which it was. However, I think that Mr. Mroz took advantage of the fact that I did tell him we had had termites about 35 years ago. He used that information to talk me into having the termite service. I don't know if the other Terminix service on West 74th St operates like the one in Fishers. When I checked my Visa card, after I cancelled the termite service, I was charged $1440.00 and $270.00. They credited my Visa for $1440.00 but not the $270.00. I called the Fishers office and was transferred to the call center somewhere and the person I talked to there told me that it would take 14 business days to credit the $270.00. Since it only took a few hours to charge me the $270.00 I was very upset that it was going to take 14 business days to get the account credited. The person I talked to was very apologetic and said she would credit my account for the pest control service with $25.00 so my charge for that service would only be $104.00. However when I got the bill in the mail for that service it was for $129.00 instead of $104.00. So I had to make more phone calls and was told that my bill was $104.00 so I sent them a check for $104.00. I had my doubts if I had sent $129.00 if they would have sent me back the $25.00. I am thoroughly disgusted with the people who run this business and will never call them again. Helen Wilson nte

They are treating for mice at this time while I was gone. They are very through about checking things. They asked if I had vents under my home, which I do. They advised me that I can close them in the cold months- which my landscaping company may have forgotten to close this past fall. The second time they came back they did find a mouse in a trap that they set. It has been maybe a week or two and I haven't seen anymore! When they do come back out they plan to complete some preventative measures-- such as possibly temperature controlled shutters.

We hired this company to remove old sagging insulation from our crawl space and replace it with new as well as to insulate our attic. These guys were fantastic! They treated our house as if it were their own. We have not had a service persons/technicians this professional and this careful with our property ever. They were very personable and used shoe covers which they wore inside only, and they covered our flooring with new tarps. They cleaned up afterwards and actually did a very good job of that as well. We would HIGHLY recommend this company and will use them again! They were worth every penny.

What stands out is that they called ahead of time and they also came to the door when they were here even though they were only working outside. They let us know what was going on.

I've had good luck with them in everything but scheduling. I've had to tell them not to come on certain days, but they would show up anyways. Otherwise, I like them just fine.

4 to 5 weeks ago, I received a Terminix coupon in the mail. I called Terminix to schedule a visit for a service estimate. I received a call from Terminix the night before confirming the appointment. To date, no one has ever come to my house or called me back regarding this appointment.

We have had a contract with this company for over 25 years and I cannot seem to get them to come out and assess the damage from the termites that I have found. We have called several times but nothing has ever been scheduled. Unfortunately we are bind to this company and have to continue using them due to the contract we have. UPDATE 11/07/14 They came out and address some of the issue, but they didn?t address the total issue of the damage inside my home. If I put my home on the market with his termite damages, it will not sell. Terminix told me they will not come in and start tearing down the dry wall because they didn?t totally agree it was new damage. However, the construction company and the home inspection company said it was new damage. If I were to paint in the spring, I would be painted over those damages. If Terminix came back in and saw the paint, they would say its old damage. I am the second owner of this home, I very familiar with my home. My home was infested with terminate in 2013 all over my home. They waiting until 2014 to come out and inspect due to ?office error?.

Do not do anything with this company. I received notification from my mortgage lender that an account with Terminix went to collection for $95. I never recieved any notice from them. After talking to them I found out that they bought a company that I had contracted with and had no idea. They send bills and if you pay you agree to their new terms but if you dont they send you to collections. I was never told of the new provider of the contact. Trying to get ahold of anyone there is an act of comgress. You will never be directed to service mgr or branch mgr...they are to call you back. It took over 2 weeks to get someone to help me with my issues. In they end they were unresponsive to my request to remove my account from collection. I would run far away from the company.

3 no call no shows in a week. They can't keep their database updated with my address I call in they say the have never heard of me they put me on hold for a long while they come back and say I was not home and did not answer my phone. I had to take 2 days off work to do this. I am not calling them back. Their customer service reps are rude. I will not deal with the Comcast of pest control.

We have actually been using Terminix for a few years now, they come out on an annual basis, perform the inspection and any treatments required. Since the initial treatment we have not had any recurring issues with termites. The technician explained what we should be looking for and what we would see if we had any termites in the future. After the first time, we set up an agreement for them to come back 6 more times for $99 each time. They never showed back up or even called. Initially the first contact, but with no follow up it made me change my mind.

It was resolved in the end, and they fixed their error. Depending on the price/quote, I would use them again.

It is effective, and if I see any pests in the mean time they come back for free. They are excellent. They just call in advance before they are coming to let you know and the service men are always professional.

We have been using them for almost a year now. They make appointments well and always call before they come out to your home for the appointment. They are very clean in our home and they inform us of proper instructions on when we can use the lawn for our children and our pets. They are very timely. We have a couple high eves on our home but due to their legal obligations, they can not climb the high ladder to get rid of a wasp nest.

They come like twice a year. My wife started using them and we've been using them for years. I just like their service. I think they do a good job. I remember I had ants last year, they came in and they went away.

They have done a good job so far! I haven't seen any black ants, crickets, or any other bugs for that matter since they started the treatments in 2012. I recommend their services!

I was really grateful for that. They also ask if there is anything they need to do in the inside of the home. They do a nice job. We don't seem to have any ants or other pests around the home. The service is good.

They are great service and very prompt

He was on time. I was astonished because he told me he would come between 10 and 12 and he was here right at 10. He got to work right away doing the spraying. In February they sprayed just the outside, but this time they did the inside as well. He did a very good job and explained everything to me as he was doing it.

Sunday evening my husband found a tick crawling on his leg. We have 2 indoor dogs that are on flea and tick preventative which stops them from getting infected by the pests but they can still bring them in on their fur after being outside. This is the 3rd instance of ticks we have had at our house in the past month! There was no question that something had to be done. Immediately I hopped on Angie's list to find a suitable pest killer. Terminix was rated a B. Typically I do not settle for a company that is rated below an A but I was swayed by the highly advertised company name. I called terminix immediately and quickly was taken care of by a customer service rep. They already had our information stored in their computer which immediately gave me a sinking feeling in my stomach because we have used a pest control service before but I couldn't remember which on it had been too many years ago. I knew our past service had either been through terminix or orkin. We had a huge inconvenience the last time by one of the companies and had to cancel our service before we even received the first treatment. But which company was it, I kept thinking to myself as I continued to speak with the rep. Surely if it was terminix who we have used in the past we won't have the same problems it has been years ago. WRONG!!! The rep told me our appointment was set up for the following day Monday 20,2013 between 1-5. I was ecstatic they could get us in so soon. I took the next day off work so I could be home for the inspection and service. 4:30pm I had a horrible gut feeling that after taking the day off work the technician was not going to arrive. I called customer service explaining my worries. They said unbeknownst to myself that the service had been rescheduled until Saturday. OH NO! That was not going to do! I asked to speak to the person in charge. After waiting 10 minutes on hold I was hung up on. I called back, again explaining the situation and demanding to speak to someone in charge. I was told I would be given a call back to discuss this issue. Fast forward to Saturday, still no call was received and there was no way I was putting another day on hold this week for this service to be done or not done. Saturday afternoon we found a barely legible note from a terminix technician saying he had been there call back if we want service. There is no way I will ever waste another second of my life dealing with this company! They showed immense lack of customer service. I hope my experience will help everyone who is thinking of using this company stop and give thought before they do.

I had silverfish due to humidity. I cut down the humidity, but they were still showing up. I got terminix to come out and spray. The first guy sprayed, but didn't hit all of the areas in my house. he skipped a few places. Of course the silverfish kept coming out of the baseboards, so I scheduled a second appointment. They forgot to assign the second appointment to somebody so no one came out. I scheduled a third and that guy was a little more helpful, but he didn't give me any information.

Updated: After my previous bad experience, Rafe gave me a call to explain where the mistake was and also offer to make right the mistake which occurred. Initially we decided to deal with the issue on our own which seemed to be a success. We caught the culprit mouse and didn't see anymore traces. With spring coming, we found what we believed to be new traces of mice as well as new insects coming into the home. I gave Rafe a call and asked what he could do for us, which was to offer to do the previously agreed work at a discounted rate. The scheduling of the appointment was easy and made to our convenience. The technician actually showed up to the appointment a little earlier than scheduled, which worked for me and was very knowledgeable and very nice. Came in and inspected for possible entry ways for mice and set traps throughout the house that would not be possible to access by our dogs. He then treated the house for all other insects and explained everything he did in the process. I appreciate the response to an initially unsatisfied customer and would recommend them again in the future. Below is the initial review for the previously bad experience: Called to make an appointment for start of service due to seeing a mouse in our home and confirmed an appointment for a time slot of 3-6. While I took time off from work to be home for the 3-6 time slot they also offered me a free termite inspection since I was starting my service. The termite inspector confirmed he was coming during the assigned time slot and showed up to do his inspection. He was very professional and did a great job inspecting and giving me feedback for the house. At 530 I called the Terminix office to confirm whether or not the technician was on the way. They stated that the appointment was not on the schedule for the technician to come out until the next morning from 8-12, even though the termite inspector knew about the appointment and came out during the originally scheduled time. Main purpose was coming out to perform the service and because I was confirmed a time and took the time off of from work with no service performed I gave an F rating.
