The guy is did great job! the service is great., but the customer service of Terminix is horrific. I was hold of couple an hour. The people is so bad that why I don't wanna used it anymore.

It didn't- after calling in Tuesday May 19, I was told they could not have someone come out that day but was scheduled for service the following morning. My credit card was charged $199 on 05/19. Wednesday AM nobody ever called or showed up. Someone did call Wednesday PM and said they had me down for Thursday AM- which was a lie, because the person I initially spoke to on the phone (Charles) promised someone would be there the next day. Of course nobody showed up Thursday AM either. I called around 2PM Thursday and was promised once again that someone would be there within an hour. It's 1PM Saturday and they still have not shown up so, once again- another no show, no phone call, no email, no more lies- the only thing this company is good at is charging your credit card and I will be happy to provide proof that indeed my card was charges for $199 on 05/19. Nothing but a bunch of scammers- avoid these train wrecks at all costs!!! STEER CLEAR!!!! These losers need to be shut down for good!!

I never got a contract with Terminix. I have appointments and one thing I said was don?t text me and say your appointment?s set for tomorrow. I can?t do they because I won?t even be here. The price from my old provider was significantly lower than from what Terminix wants to charge me. They can?t tell me when they took over the company how they?re different from them. The last bill from my old provider was $69 and Terminix was well over $100. I said, ?you tell me what you?re doing different. They really couldn?t tell me, they said they would have to call me back. I said, ?well, if you want to get paid then you can tell me, what did you do different?? You didn?t leave me an email, all you did was send me a bill.? They keep sending me a text saying they are going to be out and I say, ?no you?re not.? I?m not going to pay for it again. They sprayed 3 feet around the exterior of the house. Well, there?re spiders that have destroyed every bush I have. They only sprayed within 3 feet of the house and I made that clear to them. After their merger with the old provider they never came to me and said, ?okay, we have taken over and here is what you were paying for and here is what ours and you will be paying about the same thing.? You are not, because you are costing a lot more. Every time they send me a text saying they are going to show up, I say, ?no you?re not.? I finally said, ?I?m turning in the contract.? They are just taking me for the money, because you didn?t leave anything that you were here. Again, you sent me a text saying you?re coming out the next day. Well, I?m not always there, so I don?t know what you did. At least with the old provider they would leave a note with t check mark of all the things that had done and hand it to whoever was here, my dad?s caregiver or me. I have to go either to their bill or online to see what they did, by then it?s too late. You are either doing something different or the same thing as the old provider, I shouldn?t have to go and figure out what it is for a different price. I didn?t agree to a different price. If you buy out a company, you should honor the contracts that was there. If they leave anything saying what they did I never saw it, but they certainly sent their bill asking for money. I could go on to the online portal, but I don?t have time to so that. I don?t know if they even looked at that contract, they don?t know what the old provider was doing, they are just doing what they want to do. I?m not trying to give a negative opinion. You take over, a letter came out saying as of January 1 you combined or whatever. You don?t say very much in service, what is a service? You never came out to go over it. The old company left a sheet and it was marked off for $69. What do you do for $120? They keep wanting to schedule it and I keep calling them back and I say, ?no.? I?ve left messages and finally somebody called me and they were going to check into what was supposed to be covered. So, I guess I?m going to have to call them back again. Again, I will get a text and they will come out, and I will get a bill. I don?t know what their contract is and one day?s notice is not enough. I?ve never known someone to schedule on their convenience and not check with you first. Even though I?ve called every time, not my house, my dad?s; if they think they are going to report me for being late of something. I have called numerous times and only did I get a live person I get them trying to get a contract, didn?t put me through to somebody. Even if they said they did this, this and that; I only agreed to whatever the old provider had. I didn?t sign a new contract for different stuff. I don?t trust them to continue. Basically, you?re not going to come back out here until I know what you?re doing, because I never signed a contract with you. My interactions with them was hit or miss. When I went to cancel my contract didn?t anybody take me seriously. There are still spiders. Of course, I don?t know what their exterior pest control covers. They have various contracts on their website, which I looked at. This doesn?t tell me what plan it is, and rather or not it is in line with what the contract was with old provider. That is what the stick up is and nobody can give me an answer. From $109 to $69 is a big difference. I?ve had very little communication with them. I would not recommend them to anybody.
Description of Work: I don’t know what service they provided at that time. I don’t remember, of course I was not here. It was pest control exterior for $109 on July 3rd.

I use a pest control service, I think they come three or four times a year. They let you know ahead of time and then they let you know the day they're coming, so you can put away your dogs (I don't have any) or whatever you need to do in the yard and then they come and spray.

We're on a yearly plan with them. They come out 2 or 3 times a year and check, do monitoring, and do treatment. Quality is pretty good. We haven't had any termites. Their responsiveness is pretty good. They keep in touch with us and let us know when they want to come out and they call us ahead of time to make sure we're home in case we have any questions or they need access to anything. So I think that's pretty good. I would say their punctuality is really good. They schedule the appointment and then they call before to give us a heads up that they're coming out.

The gentleman did not seem very knowledgeable about the issue I was having. He walked around the outside of the house 2-3 times, then said he needed to go to his car to make a phone call and write the estimate. He sat in the car for 20+ minutes, came back to door and was unable to provide an estimate. He indicated he would need to follow up with supervisor (or other) and get back to me in a couple of days. Of course, I did not hear from him so I called him to follow up, and he indicated 'oh I was just about to call you' - which I do not believe was true b/c he STILL did not have estimate to provide to me. At which time he indicated, 'I will either stop by or call you around 3:30 this afternoon'. Well, I still did hear anything from him, so bottom line is I requested an estimate but never received one nor was I given a reason as to why an estimate was never provided.

We've had quite a bit of experience with them. We've had their services before when we lived on the other side of town in the mid to late 90's and they put in their bait system for termites all around our house, and they did a fabulous job and that was great. That whole interaction was wonderful. But the most recent one, they put the same baiting system around this house, our new house, old house built in 80 and that worked and everything went in well and that was great. The problem was the sales person. The sales person told my husband things about it that were not true about the whole contract and things. So it was very confusing and that was not done well. He came to our house and seemed very nice, but I don't think he knew what he was talking about. Because we had used Terminix before, and knew that their product was very good, we still signed up for it but that was not a good experience. I would give them a B for responsiveness, I think they came out fairly quickly but then again there is that problem with the salesperson. Then they did put the system in fairly quickly and it looks good. It looks like it did before. I would give them a C for professionalism specifically because of the sales person. I wasn't here when they put the system in but there didn't seem to be any problems with that. Then they treat is as well. I would use them again specifically because of the product. The sales person should be more accurate and really understanding what they're selling. Not telling us one thing like, telling us it was 90 days same as cash, and this is like a 3 or 4 thousand dollar system that they put in, so that would be nice. But it turned out it wasn't 90 days same as cash, they started getting interest right off . There was just screwy things about it that he misrepresented. He misrepresented the price, the first price that we got was decent and then when we got the bill, it was like a thousand dollars more than that. So my husband had to call and say what is going on here, this is not what you said, and this is not the contract I signed. So they had to redo the contract. I mean it was just not good. Their business practices need to get much better. If they had a mediocre product that we could get anyplace else, we would not go back to Terminix based on this. They did come out in a reasonable amount of time and the actual service people seemed to be good, put everything in in a timely fashion.

Our sales person Branden Mroz was a shyster. He said they had 90 days same as cash but you needed to finance for 12 months and pay it off in 90. However, the 12 months of initial financing guarantees free treatment for the 12 months if there is a re-infestation. My credit is locked so he ran my husband's. Branden had my husband sign to get his credit ran, but he actually had my husband sign, was a contract under my name with NO financing, although my husband was approved. It was on an ipad so we did not immediately get a copy of what we signed. Long story short...we made many phone calls to get this corrected and the branch manager would never return our calls. I called the billing department of Terminix and they said the salesman messed up, but they could not help me after 35 minutes on the phone with their call center. I filed a complaint with the Indiana Consumer Protection agency, since Terminix can't correct their billing and fraudulently had my husband sign a contract, not a credit application.

We left work early to get my parents out of the house (95 and 90 years old) who live 30 miles away. The appointment was at 3:00 on a Friday. I called their office at 6:00 when no one arrived. They admitted we had an appointment at 3:00 and the agent connected me to a regional manager. The regional manager could not get anyone to answer the phone at the local office. They said they would contact me in 24-48 hours. Of course, this did me no good at all. No one contacted me within the next 3 days. I cancelled the service.

We had a bad ant problem and had Terminex came out to look at it. They come and spray every couple of months and I have not had any problems with ants since. They have really taken care of the problem. They let me know when they are coming and are on time. The employees are very nice and professional. They make themselves available and will look at any other bug problems I have.

They were charging us $105 per application. They were good when they were able to come out, but mostly the thing I do not like about them was the fact that they kept raising their prices without telling us anything. We were on one of those contract deals where they come out once every two or three months. They could have not raised their prices. The workers were fine.

They are hard to contact. I have tried numerous time to reach out to a local office to voice my concerns with no results. I can only be connected to a corporate office and nothing locally. It can be very frustrating when you need answers or service in a timely manner. They need to have more local offices.

So they said they would only have two services in the fall, but they charged us for three, and then when I called to complain about it they would not forward me to any customer service, or they wouldn't do anything to reconcile the issue, and they kind of just argued with us. It was really an odd, a very odd response from a national company. And it didn't work, just made matters worse. Terrible customer service. I agreed to this contract, and they won't even call me back.

On 11-AUG-2015 a Terminix salesman (Brandon) came to my residence to inspect for bed bugs. He sold me a 'cold treatment' for $1400. He told me it was a healthy and safe alternative since no chemicals would be used. On 17-AUG-2015 a Terminix field service tech came out to perform a treatment for bed bugs at my residence. When he arrived, he explained that he could not install encapsulations on my queen bed since he ran out performing a treatment at a fraternity house earlier in the day. He began treatment and I called Brandon but could not get through. I called Terminix's customer service line; the agent I spoke to said that mattress encapsulation was not part of the standard treatment. While on hold, Brandon called me back. He said that encapsulation was expected but could not explain why the tech did not have enough product to perform the service for which I paid. When the service tech finished, he told me that he did not have any CO2 for the cold treatment; he had sprayed chemicals throughout the treatment areas even though Brandon told me that no chemicals would be used. He also could not install encapsulation on my king bed because it was a Select Comfort air bed and they don't have encapsulations for them. So 1) chemicals were used without my consent, 2) the treatment for which I paid was not performed, 3) Brandon did not note what kind of beds I owned and 4) 3 different Terminix representatives had 3 different expectations for service. After speaking with Brandon again, we arranged to have the cold treatment performed the next morning. He also told me that he would refund me $275 for the encapsulations and another $75 for the inconvenience. This refund was promised the evening of 17-AUG-2015. As of 04-SEP-2015 I had not received the refund. I called Terminix and was told there were no notes in my record about a refund. I pushed to speak to a manager and the agent put me on hold to contact the local manager. The agent returned and told me the manager was aware and was submitted the refund immediately. As of today, 14-SEP-2015, I have not received the refund. Update: 30-SEP-2015: I have received my refund after filing a BBB complaint but now have had another experience with bad communication between the national phone line and the local office: 27-SEP-2015: I woke up with bedbug bites. I called the national Terminix number and spoke with an agent. She scheduled me for another treatment on 01-OCT from 13:00 - 17:00 EDT. She told me I could expect confirmation from the local branch within 24-48 hours. 29-SEP-2015: I received a call from a field tech at 07:30 EDT informing me that he was on his way for my 08:00-10:00 EDT service. I was unable to be home to allow him access. I asked him to confirm that my 13:00-17:00 service on 01-OCT was scheduled. 30-SEP-2015: I called the national Terminix number at 13:50 EDT to confirm my service on 01-OCT. The agent found no such service scheduled and did not have any more times available this week. She passed me to a specialist who could find no information, as well. She emailed the local branch for more information. The local branch has called and scheduled the service for 13:00 EDT tomorrow, 01-OCT, as originally scheduled.

I only did it one time because I thought they were going to take money out of my account so I don't know what happened. After they did not get the money they were supposed to get they just stopped. It was only one application so I can't tell you if it did anything or not. I guess their pricing was okay, but I can't remember the overall package deal. That one time they came out.

The monthly service was $30 and we have a summer only mosquito control which I think was something like $80 additional. So, the total cost would be roughly $110. Their service has been excellent. We used them at our previous residence for probably at least twenty-three years and so, we have used them for a total of twenty-five years. A lot of the quality and level of service depends upon the individual technician that provides your service. When we moved to this address at one point, they sent a different technician who was really quite obnoxious. We requested the original technician. We have had him back and he is excellent. Terminix does a lot of follow-up surveys. They are automated surveys, but they tend to be very time consuming.
Description of Work: For pest control and extermination, we use Terminix.

The original quote was way over priced but I didn't know that at the time. I feel like the salesman tricked me into requesting this service, he claimed I had termites which I don't. He even said on the contract that he emailed me that there was no sign of termites but he told me he had found one in my family room. Then the contract was for over$200.00 more than what he quoted me. I discussed this with my son and he told me to cancel the entire contract.
Description of Work: Provider quoted $1440.00 for termite protection. When I got the contract, it was for $1770.00. Called why additional fees, told that was for 2 years. Only wanted one year. Had to make several phone calls and wait for 10 days to get additional charges removed. Finally cancelled entire contract.

this was my second visit for service contract purchased 3/22/2015. i had James Buck both times to my home and he is my regular pest control tech. James is a great guy! he is all about bugs and does not mess around. we had hornets in our home entering thru our fireplace! called Terminix, James came and together, took care of the problem. we needed a "bug screen" added to our chimney to keep them from coming in due to weather or seeing light. he placed traps and a powered treatment inside and i taped off the doors till we could get the screen put on. now, no more hornets! we also had wasps all around the outside of our home, he treated them also. i have always done my own pest control as most people do to save money. but, Terminix changed that. you see a spider, call, you see a wasp, call, and so on. i don't mess with wasps anymore, all i do is make a call to Terminix!

Terminex is so arrogant they don't need new business, they failed to show up to provide any service.
Description of Work: This provider set and confirmed two appointments to come to my home to access if I had termites present and evaluate any potential damage. Terminex never made either appointment, even after providing a confirmation phone call. No one ever showed up, no phone call to indicate they would not arrive. Terminex failed on every opportunity to provide service. Absolutely, call anyone else but Terminex.
