Terry drilled holes to install ground units and inspected dead termites and explained to me what they were and to expect. Very pleasant and accommodating when I requested some stations be removed and placed in less conspicuous spots.
Description of Work: Installed subterranean ground termite stations. Came out when detected group of swarmers in yard and checked to see if termites were in area.

Dan seemed polite and courteous over the telephone. I haven't met him in person. The merge with Silvercreek seemed to go smoothly enough as we didn't have any break in our service. We will go ahead and renew the annual contract with Terminix.
Description of Work: We signed an annual contract with Silvercreek Pest Control last spring. The company merged with or was bought out by Terminix. Terminix has made 2 visits and this final visit was the last of the annual contract. They came out once for a free termite inspection (which I didn't know they had as a part of their contracts and was pleasantly surprised as we live in the woods and also have cedar siding)...seemed knowledgeable and didn't push to sell me things that I didn't really need. As for the routine spraying...they called and came out on the same day and sprayed outside only. I told Dan, technician, over the phone that we had a problem with wasps, where the problem was and could they take care of it. He said no problem...he'd put ''powder'' in those areas. This wasp service wasn't noted on the invoice that he left for me...I noticed a few less wasps, so hopefully he did indeed do it. If not, I have no doubt that he'll come and do what needs to be done to get rid of them.

Active termite infestation. TERMINIX was the only company which would guarantee in writing their service. Neither a local company nor another national company would guarantee their termite service. The local company whom I had used previously for pest control would not guarantee the termite work and to further demonstrate their lack of interest their estimate was stated at a minimum of $12,000.00. His best advice was for me to do my homework and I did. I feel comfortable with Terminix. They were prompt, professional, polite, helpful, did everything I thought should be done and they did everything they said they would do. All three companies did an inspection. Terminix and Orkin did a thorough inspection including the crawl space and Terminix made a second inspection just to talk with me and further answer questions. I believe my trust has been well-placed in Terminix (time will tell for sure).
Description of Work: Two services: Termite Treatment including Quarterly (and, as-needed additional) Treatments and quarterly (and, as needed)Pest Control Treatments. Purchased Annual plan for both types of service. The price I paid includes both annual plans and a substantial reduction as an internet coupon for 10% was honored on the Termite Treatment AND the Pest Control was reduced about 25% and an additional 10% for paying for the entire year.

WE ADDED BREAKFAST AREA, HAVE CALLED TWO TIMES TO HAVE AREA ADDED TO OUR PROTECTION. HAVE HAD NO RESPONSE. ALSO NOTIFIED WE WOULD HAVE UPGRADED TERMITE BAITING INSTALLED IN SPRING. NO ONE HAS CHANGED BAITING SYSTEM. WE HAD HOME SPRAYED FOR CARPENTER ANTS. TERMINIX DID A GOOD JOB.

THEY DID GET SOMEONE OUT TO FIX THE DAMAGE. I WAS VERY GRATEFUL FOR THIS BECAUSE WE HAD TIME CONSTRAINTS. THE PERSON THAT DID THE WORK WAS EASY TO WORK WITH AND VERY COURTEOUS. ONE THING I DID QUESTION WAS THAT I NOTICED THAT THE SILL PLATE WAS REPLACED IN SECTIONS INSTEAD OF ONE PIECE. IT IS A LOAD BEARING WALL AND IN THE PAST SOME OF THE STONE FOUNDATION WAS TAKEN OUT. I WAS CONCERNED BECAUSE THE 2X4 WALL STUD ABOVE IS RESTING ON THAT. I WILL PROBABLY NEED A STRUCTURAL ENGINEER TO CHECK IT OUT IN THE FUTURE TO MAKE SURE HIS WORK IS OK.

VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL, ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE FOR A ONE-YEAR SERVICE AGREEMENT TO TAKE CARE OF ANTS AND OTHER INSECTS LIKE ROACHES AND BEES.
