The technician showed up when he was scheduled and quickly found the problem. He was personable and professional.

I initially called Summers to fix an issue with a leaking supply line to a humidifier that I no longer use. The leak got serious over Memorial Day weekend, and "John" was great about fitting me into the schedule on Tuesday morning. I have a service contract, so I asked them to complete the complimentary plumbing inspection at the same time and mentioned that I also needed a new hose bibb. Craig Smith - plumbing wunderkind - arrived on Tuesday morning and expressed concern about completing the inspection and other work before needing to leave for his grandmother's funeral. I felt so sad for him having to make my service call! I work from home and told him I was perfectly happy to have him finish the next day. He fixed the leak and completed the inspection. We discussed a new water heater (since mine was surely living on borrowed time at 13 years), and I told him I would think about it overnight. Craig returned promptly on Wednesday morning and completed all the work (including the new water heater) quickly, accurately and neatly. He is not only an excellent plumber; he is also friendly and interesting and a nice person to have around as he works. In summary, I received excellent service and high quality work at what I felt was a fair price. I would not hesitate to recommend that you call Summers - and ask for Craig by name!

They follow up, that is a highlight. We got a brand new heating system from them.We looked around, we shopped around, and we bought the best value for our money. When the heater goes out, you say you need to do something about it today, especially in February.

They were efficient and clean. They were very quick with getting the problem resolved. They came out and finished the job very quickly.

They did a great job. Cleaned it thoroughly. Made sure the heat exchange, and temperature wire was good. They made sure the wires were good as well. They were competitive in their pricing as well. And they cleaned the furnace. They were very conscientious. They did a very good job.

Summers was super to work with. They were punctual and cleaned up after the work was completed. Of three estimates, they were the best deal. There was a one year (3 visits) service agreement included in the price. We highly recommend Summers Heating and Cooling!

tech came on time did the tune up in 1hr 15 min . the letter said work would be 2.5 hrs. tech sold me a 149.00 1 year service contract for future discounts on repairs----total bill 179.00. tune up included 1lb of Freon if needed--none was needed. service contract was sold with the same 100% satisfaction money back guarantee. about 10 days passed and the weather changed so I went to turn down the temp. the thermostat did not respond to any changes. I called Summers and a different tech looked over the air cond . heat pump. he said I needed a new circuit board located on the heat pump in the basement. cost 600.00 but with my discount it would be around 500.00. I asked why the first guy didn't notice it--he said it probably was a lightening strike that fried the circuit board----- I asked him to write up an estimate-- he did-but the carbon copy could not be read--I asked for his original which he gave me and he took the carbon. he signed both copies. I still have mine. I have an insurance policy that covers the heat pump. you call them for a second opinion . they send a guy out to OK the repair. the insurance guy came out and looked things over. he said the circuit board was in perfect condition. the theromastat was turned off . he just pushed the button and everything was fine and dandy. he said the unit needed 1/2 lb top off of Freon--no charge I was happy with the second opinion But ANGRY with SUMMERS HEATING AND COOLING. I called them and asked for a refund for the service call and the service policy (179)i as I was not satisfied with the service and lost confidence in Summers. they said the Boss only writes refund checks on the first of the month( AUG 1) so I waited a few weeks and called them back around AUG 5 to tell them I had not received my check. nobody seems to remember my request---they would get back to me--they never returned my calls always saying they will talk to the boss and get back to me. well finally they called me and said they were mailing me a check for 103.00 as that is all I deserve in their opinion. Beware of this company.

I had a sump fail. They significantly overcharged me for the service call, charging me three times for parts that could be purchased at Amazon.com, even though I paid for annual service program that was guaranteed to get the lowest prices for parts and service.

Arrived on time and spent a great deal of time taking care of my two furnaces. Suggested a replacement filter and even told where to get a good price on one.

Summers technicians were knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. Furnace technician was able to accurately communicate issues with 30+ year old furnace with clear language for the non-professional, and pointed out concerns with the hot water stack. Recommended new furnace with higher efficiency that was right-sized for our house. Installation was pleasant and painless - I would definately call on them to take care of any issue I would have with HVAC or plumbing. I trust them.

We have had them out several times and we have a yearly package with them which consists of yearly heater and air conditioner cleanings and one plumbing inspection. They do an excellent job and actually did the cleaning at our old house and the housing inspector told us that our heater was the cleanest heater he had ever seen in a home inspection. That helped to sell our 14-year-old house because it had been so well maintained.

He did a really good job and I now use them for my bi-annual maintenance.

Furnace and air conditioning system were inspected and check for operating efficiency. Furnace was found to have a defective heating chamber and was it was recommended that a new high efficiency furnace be installed. New furnace was installed without any issues.

Bill arrived on time, was very pleasant and informative. He explained every detail throughout the inspection and cleaning of my furnace. He repaired the flame sensor so that it no longer causes these loud clicking noises. I definitely think he is an excellent, honest and knowledgable service technician. He knew his product. I had researched furnaces and service providers on Consumer Reports who advised that I check to see if the technician was certified by the trade organization, North American Technician Excellence or HVAC Excellence, to service heating and cooling equipment, Bill from Summers had this certification. When checking the website for NATE for which companies in Indianapolis had technicians who had this certification, I could find only Summers Plumbing, Heating and Cooling listed. As my furnace is 20 years old, I wanted a company whose technicians had this certification and I wanted a company whose main furnace product was Lennox, my furnace brand, as after having had two other companies in the past here to check on the noise problem without solving the problem I wanted a company experienced in the Lennox brand. I was also influenced by the fact that Channel 13, WTHR, did an expose on furnace repair technicians who were not honest in regards to the needed repairs and Summers was one of the only honest ones. In fact, Bill Lohrman, from the Broad Ripple branch at 5296 E. 65th St., Indianapolis (my service technician) was the technician who was featured on this TV piece. Summers tune up special was actually for $54 but because Angie's list had a special going on from a competitor for $49, Summers only charged me $49. Bill informed me of the other services offered by Summers. Summers and Bill definately get my recommendation for a Page of Happiness and Super Service Provider. Thank you for great service.
