Installed carpeting in new home. Had stretching issues within first year and promptly came to home to re-stretch carpeting. Issue occurred again within 12mos and again promptly came to re-stretch the carpeting. At this time, the tech indicated that the carpeting was not wearing properly and should not need to be stretched so much. They submitted a claim on our behalf to the manufacturer. They also told us in order to maintain the warranty, we needed to have our carpeting cleaned every two years, we complied. An inspector came to the home and performed an evaluation. The owner and manager of the store came to see the carpeting when out to re-stretch again, and stated that it is up to the manufacturer to make the situation right, but if they didn't it would be up to them. The results of the inspection were stated to be customer maintenance issues and the claim was denied. We worked through Shannon for the next two years trying to settle the situation while we were being told they were working with the manufacturer to resolve. Finally they came back with an offer which was to offer us a discount on new carpeting. This offer was not accepted. After a few more stretches and a lot of prodding another inspection was performed on the carpeting and this time the conclusion was improper installation and over stretching. At this point the issue still remains unresolved and we will never set foot in the store again or recommend at any time.

I liked that they were courteous and professional with us even though our purchase wasn't very big. We only needed a carpet runner at that time but they had all the time it took and they were able to get us what we really wanted. The installation was also excellent. I would surely use them again in future.

They sold me some carpeting. It was guaranteed to be stain-resistant for twenty years. I had it cleaned because I was told that the warranty wouldn't be in effect if it wasn't cleaned every two years. After two cleanings, I still have stains everywhere that I can't get out. I haven't told this company yet. Every room in the house will have to be replaced.

After some comparison shopping, settled on Carpet One based on quality and price of Mohawk carpet; rubber carpet pad also was superior to others priced. Overall, we got the quality we wanted for a fair price, and lower than other estimates. Charles Epley, Shannon's salesman, was thorough and fair, easy to work with. He answered questions rather than trying to upsell the customer or steering. Price charged was price quoted, with no tail-end surprises. The install job was done promptly and professionally. The crew, headed by John Shurtz, even vacuumed the newly-installed carpet before they left!

They gave us their best guy for their tiling and we ended up recommending him to our neighboor. He is does little of a slower job, but was worth it because he does such good work

The first guy did a terrible job. He came in and told me that they didn't want to fix the bowing caused by the water damage. They tried nailing it down and that caused ripples. I felt like they weren't communicating with the insurance company, claiming that they wouldn't cover this work. Then they came back and looked to see if they could fix it and then blamed it on the wood. The guys who did the tile did ok. They weren't very professional.

They did well they were on time, they got us what we wanted. My husband did find some issues with the corners and when they saw they were having problems, they put their best man non the job and got it done right away.

Were able to install carpet on short notice (less than 1 week). Came on time, worked steadily to get the job done. I don't know much about carpet, but I was especially impressed with how he did the seams where the carpet pieces were joined, such as doorways. I watched him meld the two pieces together once, and when he was done, I could not tell that was where a carpet seam was at. They stopped when they ran into a problem with the floor rotted in the bath, and advised me what to do. After the floor was repaired, they returned as scheduled and finished the carpet job.

I ASKED FOR A PRICE QUOTE IN WRITING. THEN I ASKED FOR THE ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT. AT FIRST THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T DISCOUNT ANYMORE. THEN I SAID, ''SO YOU REALLY DON'T HAVE AN ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT BECAUSE ANYONE CAN WALK IN AND GET THE SAME PRICE?'' HE DID GIVE ME SOME MORE DISCOUNT, BUT NOT AS MUCH AS ADVERTISED ON THE ANGIE'S LIST WEBSITE. HOWEVER, I AM STILL SATISFIED. THE NEW CARPET LOOKS AND FEELS NICE.

JOHN WAS ON TIME, KNEW THE PRODUCTS, AND WAS REASONABLY PRICED. WHEN THE DYE LOT OF THE TILE CAME IN A DIFFERENT COLOR THAN WHAT WE ORDERED, HE PROMPTLY TOOK US TO THE WAREHOUSE AND HELPED US PICK OUT SOMETHING ELSE AND MADE SURE IT WAS AT THE NEW HOUSE THE NEW DAY.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE. THEIR KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SELECTION AND QUALITY FAR EXCEED WHAT I FOUND AT THE CHAIN SUPERSTORES. THE INSTALLATION GUYS WERE INCREDIBLE. THEY REMOVED MY OLD CARPET AND PADDING AS WELL AS MOVED FURNITURE AS THEY WENT. WHEN I TOOK A VACUUM UPSTAIRS, THEY WOULDN'T EVEN LET ME PLUG IT IN! THEY ARE A FULL-SERVICE ORGANIZATION. THE PLACE WAS SPOTLESS WHEN THEY LEFT AND THE CARPET LOOKS AMAZING. FANTASTIC WORK!

THEY INSTALLED CARPET FOR ME A YEAR AND A HALF AGO, AND 5 MONTHS AGO, WE NOTICED THE CARPET WAS BUCKLING AT THE SEAMS AND EDGES. WE TALKED TO THE CARPET MANUFACTURER AND THEY SAID IT WAS COMMON WITH BRAND NEW OFF-THE-ROLL CARPETING. WE CALLED THE COMPANY AND THEY SCHEDULED TO COME OUT AND REPAIR THE WORK THEY HAD DONE. THEY COULD NOT FIND ANY WORK ORDER WHERE THEY INSTALLED OUR CARPET, BUT THEY CAME OUT ANYWAY, ON TIME AND DID THE REPAIR NOT EVEN KNOWING THAT THEY INSTALLED OUR CARPET. I OFFERED TO PAY TO HAVE THE REPAIR DONE (WITH THEM NOT KNOWING THEY ORIGINALLY INSTALLED OUR CARPET) AND THEY SAID NO. I WOULD GIVE THEM AN A+++.

THEIR CARPET IS GOOD QUALITY AT AN EXCELLENT PRICE. I WILL GO THERE FOR ANY FUTURE CARPET PURCHASES.

INSTALLER WAS A VERY NICE GUY, THEAY WERE ALL GREAT AND I FELT COMFORTABLE WITH THEM IN MY HOME.
