Description of Work: It was around 6:00 am on January 11, 2013 and my husband went downstairs to the laundry room to get my scrub jacket out of the dryer. As soon as he took his last step he was in standing water. The snow had been melting and it had been raining and our sump pump couldnt keep up with the water flow and it backed up into the laundry room, hallway, bathroom and family room. I called our insurance company and the in turn called Service Master. Within the hour, Service Master called me and set a time up that morning to come to the house and start cleaning up the mess. They were very pleasant on the phone, showed up when they said they would and were very courteous when they arrived. They were very professional and kept me abreast of everything that was going to happen and on what was happening. They even checked on the progress of the basement drying out everyday on the weekend. They had to rip up our laminate flooring, dispose of it, place dehumidifiers and heaters every where downstairs. They showed up on time on Monday to pick all of their equipment up and gave me copies of all of the paperwork. I would highly recommend using them.

Description of Work: After a toilet over flowed for the better part of a day the following resulted: Upon discovering the water damage I placed a call to Service Master - this call was after their business hours. By 9:00 the next morning 2 employees were here with fans and dehumidifiers. They had to remove part of the flooring in the bathroom, roll back the carpet in the bedroom and closet and remove a large portion of the pad under the carpet in order to dry the sub floor. Also, the water had gone through the floor onto the ceiling in the lower level and then dripped onto furniture and a large area of the carpet. Approximately 20SF of very wet ceiling had to be torn out and bag for disposal. Fans and dehumidifiers ran day and night in both areas for 4 days. After the entire areas were dry the carpet had to be cleaned and deodorized. The men who were doing this work were very polite, enformative, clean and friendly. The owner of the company came over to help determine what needed to be done and also came back when the job was finished to make sure everything had been done to my satisfaction. I couldn't have asked for a better job or a better company. If I ever have a problem of this type again or just need to have my carpets cleaned, they will be the company I call!
