Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing

I was out of town, and the furnace and air conditioner were both running at the same time because of an incorrect thermostat installation. The neighbor and the technician had to coordinate their schedules on a weekend. This repair was done within 12 hours of my call. I couldn't have been more pleased. The price was not out of line either!

Excellent. Tub drain was stuck but he worked his magic and got it replaced. Very pleased with service.

Very good. He drained water heater; checked its condition; answered my questions on cost of a new one when needed; offered information on a water leak detector that can be purchased at Lowe's.

Service Plus was great. I was able to schedule an appointment without any issues, and Gary arrived ahead of schedule to service one of my rental properties. He explained exactly what I should know about the HVAC system since I had just recently purchased this property and was able to provide recommendations on how to maintain the system over the years. No sales pitch, just honest recommendations for how to get the best bang for the buck.

The tech came to the house and confirmed that the part wasn't functional. He tried to order the part and none were available (not the fault of Service Plus, but Bryant Heating and Air Conditioning). The part was under warrantee, but Service Plus intends to charge us $460 to remove and replace a part the I already removed, checked out, and replaced in about 20 minutes. The motor is not available to non approved Bryant contractors, so I can't just buy the motor and install it myself. This is outrageous. We're still without heat two weeks later.

Gary did a great job! He resorted my confidence in Service Plus after a bad experience I had when another service tech installed my water heater.

It went very well. Anthony is very professional and really enjoys what he does. He explained the workings of the furnace and all he was checking out. I have a greater appreciation for what he does and the value of getting the furnace checked annually.

A 2-day entire house re-plumb job turned into a 2 month nightmare where we continually found things done poorly or incomplete, found leaks after they were 'done' and some pipes that were just never connected to anything. At one point they also sold me a new shower valve (for $800) and after install it had the exact same problem we started with, and then (after I had to point out that it wasn't any different), they told me they had mis-installed it and just needed to turn a cartridge around, meaning I didn't need a new valve in the first place, they just fraudulently sold me one. Aside from that they also took down an access panel in my bathroom to do work, and when done, covered the opening with white duct tape instead of putting the access panel back up. They also tried to re-quote me for more work on something I'd already paid for, lost the key to my house (and then returned someone else's key to me), hooked my dishwasher up to cold water instead of hot (unsanitary). They also do HVAC work, and they screwed that up to, when asked to install an AC cage over the unit in our yard, they installed it backwards and put holes in the side of my house to screw it in with a bracket... obviously incorrectly. Corrective work has eventually been completed, assuming we don’t find more problems (which I doubt at this point), but only after I had to repeatedly call them out, as they seemingly do not inspect their work after completion AT ALL. So many problems... I would not wish the terrible work and service we got on anyone, please do not use this company.

With his 35 years of experience, I was impressed with John's professionalism. He arrived when he said he would and went to work immediately. He not only checked and cleaned the necessary parts of our furnace but also knew how to service our full house humidifier- which from past experience not all the previous HVAC techs knew how to do. I would to use John for our future HVAC checks .

Great job, as always. The tech, Alan, very knowledgeable, and went out his way to walk me through what he was doing. The company as a whole seems very conscientious of their customers and I'm always pleased with their work.

Curtis assessed the unit and then had to do some sleuthing figure out why the unit was not getting power. We have a very old home in Meridian Kessler and he had the knowledge to figure out the nuances of our home’s electrical system. He spent approximately 3 hours doing this and finally found the problem. He is smart and meticulous.

Gary came and checked out why the water was not flowing in the humidifier. He explained that the humidity in the house was higher than the thermostat was set for. He checked out everything and made sure the water would flow through the humidifier. He explained how to adjust the setting for comfortable humidity in the house. He was very patient, pleasant and professional. All of the technicians that work for Service Plus are great to deal with!!

There were issues getting the new thermostat to work and he had to call another technician to come and help. They did not leave until everything was working properly and we were satisfied with the new thermostat. It was thoroughly explained to us how to use it the they set it up and made sure everything was working great. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They are thorough, professional and totally qualified. It didn't cost a lot as I am on a yearly plan. The only cost was for the humidifier filter and the yearly plan.

I had a slow leak that needed to be repaired on my A/C and wanted preventative maintenance for my furnace. I have an annual contract and all of the work was covered under that contract. The initial tech spent much time assiduously taping and using sealant to stop every possible point of leakage, but a very slow leak persisted. The second tech explained that the problem was likely a bad filter that wasn't allowing enough air, thus causing the coils to freeze and condensate to run down the inside of the unit. After the second tech left, I discovered the WiFi unit was no longer working. The tech came back and discovered that a small jiggling of the connector box between the WiFi unit and the Furnace control caused the WiFi connection to work again. He secured the unit to the side of the Furnace to reduce the likelihood of the wires becoming loose again.

Charles was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and took time to answer questions. During the annual maintenance, he noticed our humidifier was not working and wasn’t even connected. He took time to connect it and explain how to set it to our preferences. We had no idea it was not working. In addition, he was very pleasant. On one of the hottest days, the air conditioner died. I called, first for a service call. A rep arrived within an hour or so of my call. He was very kind, but informed me the unit would need to be replaced, not to my surprise. He arranged for 2 portable air conditioning units that were delivered in a timely manner. The work was scheduled for the next day. The 2 men who came to replace the old system were very professional and kept me informed the entire time. The work was done in one day. The reps left the area clean and neat, explained use and care of the new unit. Everyone I dealt with was very kind and professional.
