Bill A. and Derick did a a fantastic job. Both were very experienced, professional, communicative, and informative. Bill made a major effort to get the job done that day per our need, and stayed until nearly 8:00 PM and finished. Service Plus Heating and Cooling is certainly a premium company! Definitely recommend and have back in future.

On 2/28/19 we had water coming out of a pipe in our basement so we called Service Plus. They sent a plumber who diagnosed the problem as a clogged sewer line...which he couldn't fix. So they sent someone else same day to clean the line from the outside clean-out pipe for $89. They couldn't get their "snake" through the clog from the outside, so they sent out yet ANOTHER tech with a camera. After assessing the problem from outside and inside the house, this third Service Plus employee decided that a more major repair would be required, possibly cutting into the wall of our finished basement, cutting into the sewer line, digging down to the sewer line outside with a backhoe, and taking most of the next day (Friday) to do it. All to the tune of $3500, which he 'generously' knocked down to $3125! We were stuck, with no ability to use any of our water-related appliances, we had them come out the next day. Two workers arrived @ 8:00A Friday morning. After waiting a few minutes to let the utility workers finish marking the utility lines, they set to work. Less than an hour later (@ 9:00) they called us outside to show what they had done. They hand-dug (with shovels, NOT the backhoe) to the sewer line, cut a section between the house and the clean-out, and cleared a clog from that section. Now they were waiting for the guy with the camera (same from the day before) to come out to inspect the rest of the line. He arrived more than an hour later and found there was still a clog in the line. They replaced the small section of cut sewer line outside and ran a snake from one of our INSIDE toilets, which cleared the clog. All work was completed by 12N (a total of not more than 3 hours work) and they were still going to charge us the $3125. Only when pressed did they reduce it by $500 because they didn't use the backhoe. So it was still $2625 to clear a clogged sewer line. (We have since found that other companies would have charged closer to $200-300 for the same job by simply running the snake from the inside in the first place.) Unhappy with the price, we called Service Plus that afternoon (3/1/19) and were told that the GM (Jimmy) was gone for the day but that he would be back in touch. No call back on Monday. It wasn't until more phone calls and an online chat that we finally spoke with Jimmy on Wednesday (3/6). He was not at all sympathetic to our argument that we were grossly overcharged for a job that took less than three hours and ultimately was not as complex as they originally made it out to be. After a few contentious moments, he said he would discuss it with the owner and "call right back". He never called back. No one called back We gave it a few days, and at the suggestion of our attorney, we filed a dispute with our credit card company to recoup a portion of the amount we felt we were overcharged by Service Plus. Service Plus responded to that dispute, not by waiting for a resolution from the credit card company, but rather by filing a mechanics lien on our home AND having an attorney send a threatening letter to us demanding payment and demanding that we remove negative reviews we had posted! After that, we tried reaching out to the owner of the company by sending a registered letter to Service Plus. That was more than a week ago and still no reply. We are now filing a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General's Consumer Complaint Dept.. So here's Service Plus: 1) couldn't finish the job correctly the first time, 2) overcharged for the job that WAS done, 3) completely unresponsive to dissatisfied customers, and 4) would rather threaten their customers than give their complaints a fair hearing and negotiate in good faith.

They called and left a message to confirm appointment today. I called back and they said we'll see you between 10 and 12. By 1 no one showed. Called back. Was asked if the tech called. Nope. Said if I don't call back to the office within 5 minutes of their appointment confirmation voicemail, that the tech moves on to the next customer. So first I'm told we'll see you 10-12. Then I'm told it's basically my fault so let's reschedule you! Classy. No thanks.

Service tech was punctual and service was as quite when setting up the appointment. The service was done professionally and within a timely manner.

They did an excellent job and I would definitely hire them again.

The tech, Brandon, arrived on time, went over options, and then made repairs in good time. I've used Service Plus for some years now and I've always been happy with their work.

It went well. I had an appointment for my painting maintenance. Michael determined that my air conditioning unit was dead. THE VERY SAME DAY THEY CAME IN AND INSTALLED BOTH A FURNACE AND A/C!!! There was a bit of trouble with upgrading my units and Michael graciously offered to come back on Saturday (next day). We agreed he would come back out on Monday morning - he was here promptly at 8:00. He did an excellent job and answered all of my questions. Thanks!!

Dave came out and immediately knew what to do so he opened it up and fixed the problem in about five minutes. Then I asked him if he would replace the filters which I had bought for my under-sink RO filter. He did that also. He was very nice and helpful and professional.

It went just fine, They're always great, and they come in a timely manor and everything is professional. They all do a great job. I would recommend them.

The installation went well; however, we had a small misunderstanding about pricing and what was included in the proposal. We did resolve it.

The technician was very thorough in his inspection and provided a detailed explanation of the issues that he found so that I completely understood the issues.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!! THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!! What should have been a simple 2 hour job, has turned into a 5 month ongoing ordeal that is still not resolved. My husband had purchased their service deal which included a water heater flush, AC and Heater tune up for $90. When they came to do the water heater flush, the technician, Jared, convinced us to get a new water heater and water softener. The quote seemed very high, over $4000 just to get a basic water softener and water heater, nothing fancy, but he said he could come back the next day and it would only take 2 hours. For convenience sake, since I had a day off and wouldn’t have another for several months, we decided to do it. Worst mistake of my life. Later I found out that we could have had this done for MUCH cheaper. My dad had another plumber do the same thing for half the cost. However, that was not the worst part by far. After installation on Friday, we immediately started having problems. We called right away and they said they could come out on Monday. By Sunday night, the new water softener had malfunctioned while I was trying to take a shower and shot resin beads all over me. They also shot throughout the entire plumbing system, ruining all of our faucets, showerheads, etc. and causing us to be without water in the entire house. We called immediately and were promised that a tech would get back with us within an hour. No one ever called. We called back 3 times, and the third time they finally said that probably no one was going to call until Monday morning. No one called Monday morning either, I had to call myself repeatedly. This all started in the middle of October. From there, they could have just replaced the water softener that day and cleaned everything out and we could have moved on, but they refused. They said they wouldn’t replace it or do anything to remedy the trouble it caused until they found out whether the water softener malfunctioned or it was installed improperly. The manager, Jimmy, told me that if it malfunctioned then the softener company had to pay for it, versus if it was installed wrong, then they had to pay for it. He seemed oblivious to the fact that I now had a ton of damages and never wanted to address how those were going to get fixed. He was way more concerned about his own finances than the trouble/time/money it had caused me. Months later I did find out from the water softener company that it was installed improperly by the technician. From that point until now, I have had to fight for every little thing. They did not bring a new water softener when they came Monday. That took over a week to get done. They also weren’t going to replace the showerheads and faucets that the beads ruined. It took months and dozens of calls and multiple visits to get those taken care of. They would try to do one, then not the other, I had to fight for every little thing. I missed multiple days of work to accommodate their many visits due to poor planning and poor communication within the company. Things that should have taken one visit would take 3 or 4. Just replacing what the initial malfunction broke took from middle of October until the beginning of December, with constant calls and follow-ups by me just to make sure they would do what they said they'd do. The original technician also caused a leak in our master bathroom when he came back to flush the system of the beads the first time. He broke a valve under the sink and instead of fixing it, he just tried to turn it off and left it that way. It then started slowly leaking and I didn’t realize it until 2 am that night when I tried to go to the bathroom to wash my hands and was standing in a puddle of water. This same technician tried to lie to me about the resin beads, telling me not to worry, they will just dissolve on their own (they don’t dissolve, they are plastic!). He also forgot to put the covers on his shoes when he came the 2nd time and tracked dirt, mud, rust particles, and I’m sure human feces since he works with toilets all day and his shoes looked extremely old with large holes in them, throughout our entire house. In the middle of this, we also had the heating guy from Service Plus scheduled to do the tune up on our furnace and went ahead and had it done as well, as at that point it was only a few days after the water softener fiasco and we hadn’t yet realized how awful this company is. He said everything was great, and then a week after he worked on it our furnace stopped working. We didn’t have heat for over a day in freezing weather. He did come out and fix it, however it was something we should have been made aware of and he should have corrected the first visit. Eventually, in December (remember this started Oct. 17), the manager agreed that we would get some money back, get a 10 year warranty on our water heater ( I had asked for it to be replaced since it was brand new and was filled with resin beads – he refused), and they would pay for our carpet cleaning since Jared had tracked his filthy, old shoes all over our entire house all over my brand new carpet. We did get the small refund ($1000 credit on our over $4000 bill). However, to this day, March 4, we have still not received our 10 year warranty and have not been reimbursed for the carpet cleaning. The carpet cleaning bill was over $900 which completely negates the refund they gave us. So we have basically been given $100 for all the time, stress, missed work, and hassle over the last 5 months. Not to mention the general poor treatment, horrendous customer service, and lies they have told us. All because we paid them to put in a new water heater and water softener. I have also been trying to get in touch with the owner of the company, Chris, since this ordeal started in October. In January, when Jimmy, the manager, refused to give me the 10 year warranty and reimbursement for the carpet cleaning that he had promised me at the beginning of December, he told me that I would have to deal with the owner from then on. Since then I have been calling every week, sometimes multiple times a week to get ahold of Chris. Every week it is a different excuse: “He is out of the country, he will be back next week”. “Oh, I know it’s next week but he’s still out of the country”. “He’s working from home today, he will call you tomorrow”. “He is in a meeting”. “He just stepped out”. “He is gone for the day”. On and on and on. Every time I am promised that he will get my message and call me back the next day. He has never called me once, and we are going on 5 months. I have been promised by customer service that he has gotten all of my messages. They just allowed me to start leaving him voicemails myself last week, and still no responses. This review doesn’t even begin to cover all of the horrible treatment I have received over the last 5 months from this company and the days, weeks, months I have had to spend working on this. Just whatever you do, don’t make the mistake I did. Find another company to work with.

Gary came out to take a look at my heat pump after the cold snap. After thoroughly diagnosing the issue, he was able to resolve the problem same day. The problem, and the cost, were better than what I had expected with my own research. Highly satisfied.

It went well for the most part. I did have to call and have a service person come out to correct a minor issue and they came promptly and fixed the issue.

Replaced a heat pump. Their price was not the cheapest but contracted to use them based on availability.

Required by the service provider to reschedule twice. Technician was experienced, diagnosed problem quickly. Worked efficiently.

I called Service Plus and Dan came out the same day, within hours. He identified the problem, showed me the issue and explained what was wrong, and gave me several options to proceed. He replaced the toilet that same day, and did an excellent job, at a fair price. No mess left behind, and the new toilet works great. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I had a great experience with this company, and would use them again in a heartbeat.

I felt Joe was very honest, candid and pleasant to work with. I appreciated the interaction and detailed explanations he provided regarding the estimate provided.

Anthony was really great! They were the first to show up and really helpful. We were happy with the price and they weren’t pushy at all. I would definitely recommend them.

Very prompt service. Keifer explained things well and was very competent, professional.

This toilet has started rocking 2 other times since installed. Keifer tightened it extra well and repositioned levelers. He also caulked around the base to keep the levelers from working their way from under base.

I was out of town, and the furnace and air conditioner were both running at the same time because of an incorrect thermostat installation. The neighbor and the technician had to coordinate their schedules on a weekend. This repair was done within 12 hours of my call. I couldn't have been more pleased. The price was not out of line either!
