Description of Work: Angie's List had 5 reviews on this company referencing their service availability on Saturdays. "Josh" who answered the phone had no idea - he indicated they are not available on Saturday/Sunday. Very disappointing for those that work a "normal" day!

Description of Work: Checked out air conditioner and determined compressor was going out. Instead of wasting time/money on tuning up or fixing old A/C, I was able to purchase another big deal to have a brand new A/C unit installed two days later.

Description of Work: They replaced an exterior faucet and tightened a couple of interior taps. Ratings are due to the coupon experience, not the quality of the work. They said the repair I wanted had a fixed price and they applied the amt of the coupon to that. So what good was the coupon? Where was the great coupon deal?

Description of Work: Did not do any repairs because their equipment was too big to fit through the access to the basement (NO fault of theirs). Did not charge me for trip. Jeremiah explained how big the drain cleaning/camera machinery was and showed me how much manueving room he would need to get it to the basement. If I can remedy the access space, he told me to call and reschedule. Only remaining problem was narrow doorways in house will require him to take 2 doors off hinges. Again, NO fault of theirs. He also referred me to another company who uses a smaller machine if I'm not able to increase the access space. Would definitely call them again!

Description of Work: Jeremiah, from Service Plus, replaced the outside water spigot (which had been dripping). He did have to cut a 6"x9" hole in (a relatively obscure portion of) my garage wall to access it, however, which added $129 to the original $99, so it ended up being a somewhat pricier repair than I had expected.

Description of Work: They replaced an old broken outdoor faucet just as their quote said and I am delighted with the professionalism, promptness and value I got for my money. I am on a very limited income so the value was great for me and they sent a thank you note for the business. I normally fill out a report on my own but family health issues have taken precedence lately and for that I am sorry.....it does not relfect any negativity about this company in any way, I would definitely use them again....Five stars!!!

Description of Work: We took advantage of this opportunity because we had one plumbing repair that we thought would be pretty straightforward (replace an outdoor faucet that was cracked and leaking) and also had several questions about plumbing issues in our house, which we purchased a few months ago. This service provider fixed our outdoor faucet and listened to our other concerns and questions, figuring out what was wrong and recommending the most effective ways that the problems could be addressed. He also gave estimates for all of these recommendations. While we have not decided whether or not to follow through and hire this provider to fix these additional issues, we were very pleased with this Angie's List Deal and the service provded.

Description of Work: The service man replaced a broken outdoor faucet in the backyard. It had not worked for about 10 yrs. He had a new one installed in about an hour. He did such a good job we had him come back to replace the front faucet. He was very thorough and courteous. He really knew what he was doing. Would have them back again.

Description of Work: $99 bought a sevice call to replace an outdoor spigot and complete a whole-house plumbing system inspection. The tech arived at the very end of the appointment window (after an arduous repair before us), but a call to advise we were at then end of the day would have been helpful. He determined that our existing spigot did not need replacement and offered to do no further work and charge us nothing for the trip, which we confirmed the next day with the office. (Instead, we subsequently applied our payment to an annual maintenance plan on our HVAC systems, which the office staff very courteously and cheerfully arranged.)

Description of Work: On June 13, 2012, I purchased an Angie's List "Big Deal" from Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing for a $99 outdoor hose faucet replacement plus whole house plumbing inspection. Jerimiah was the service technician that came out and upon seeing that he would have to go into the crawl space to turn off the water in order to replace the faucet, he informed me that it would be an additional $129 "difficulty access fee". Under the "fine print" area of the deal, there were 7 conditions for the purchase but there was no mention of any additional fees for going into a crawl space. The only additional fee that was mentioned was for a "frost free hose faucet available at additional cost". Jerimiah offered to have my $99 refunded and then "just charge you a $49 service fee" and he would tighten the lug nut on the existing faucet for me (which he kindly did). Jerimiah was pleasant, but was not in a position to fulfill the deal as written, which is what I wanted and what I purchased, so I asked to speak with Chris Cunningham, the owner of the company. Mr. Cunningham refused to consider my request for him to honor the "big deal" as was offered in writing. I pointed out to him that it was HIS oversite to not include any additional fees for difficult access in the fine print, and that he was obligated to perform the work as promised. Mr. Cunningham attempted to place the blame on Angie's List by saying that they wouldn't let him put all the restrictions on the deal that he wanted and that they took 40% of the money anyway. He even went as far as asking me to get my refund from Angie's List because they would refund me the full amount but he would only have to "lose the $60". (After speaking with a representative of AL, I was told that he could have put any restrictions he wanted on the deal. Their only requirement is that the deal is a "deep discount".) Be very weary of this company. They may do good work (I have no idea), but the ethics of the owner seem to be misplaced. BTW, aren't most on/off valves for water under the crawl space unless you have a basement???? What makes this an unusual situation that would require additional fees??? Seems like he probably knew that most of the jobs would require an "extra fee", therefore limiting the amount of his "deep discount".

Description of Work: I bought two faucet replacements which normally would have cost a minimum of $740. I'm very pleased, especially considering this summer's drought, how much I've had to water my plants, and that I'm no longer wasting gallons of water!

Description of Work: We had Service Plus come out to unclog a toilet and to perform an overall inspection of all plumbing in the house. This inspection included the installation of a new outside water faucet. I found the service person (Ron Snelbaker) to be professional, clean, informative, and accommodating to my questions and needs. He performed all of the requested services to my satisfaction and gave me a quote for some other plumbing issues. Based on this experience I would certainly recommend this company.

Description of Work: They did minor plumbing repairs. They fixed leaking faucets and a toilet. Initially I was very disatissfied because I needed a tub faucet leak to be repaired. The next day a handle fell off and the water would not shut off. I had to call them back and they sent someone out two times before they got everything working properly. They did not charge any extra for the repairs.

Description of Work: I signed up for the Angie's List Big Deal special for routine air conditioning check/maintenance. The technician arrived early(called first) and performed the service check in a timely manner. He explained the service performed and findings very thoroughly. I have used them before and will use again.
