First, Service Plus sent an HVAC technician to troubleshoot the issue and provide an estimate to repair. He quickly determined it was a plumbing issue, caused by a malfunctioning valve on the incoming water line. Although he mentioned to us that the pipe size was non-standard, that information was not passed along to the plumbing technician. When the plumbing technician came out a few days later, he assessed the situation and told us he was going to have to get a part because the pipe size was non-standard. Ultimately the quality of work was good, but the job took a little longer to complete because of poor internal communication. We have hired Service Plus several times before and will continue to do so in the future - this was an unusual blip. If you were a first time customer though, it might have been a turnoff.

Josh, the technician, was very helpful and followed up the day after he stopped by to examine our water heater. While we did not choose Service Plus on this visit, I had this company replace my sewer line from the house to the street using pipe bursting technology back in 2014. I could not have been happier with their service. I would recommend them for future us.

Derryck and his plumbing team were fantastic. They answered all of our questions, especially once we realized that we needed to scale our project back due to budgetary constraints, even drilling down to what were necessities (and why) and helping determine what items could be scheduled for a later date. The work completed was exceptional. It was nice to have the same person scoping out and executing the work. Regarding HVAC services, we had three separate teams come out - one for the initial routine inspection, another to price out the repair and replacement options, and a third to handle installation. While it was different to have that number of people associated with one service, everyone was professional and we were notified in advance of their arrival. The CSR Terry is simply fantastic and is a pleasure to work with. We have some upcoming needs in the year ahead and will definitely be using Service Plus. While we were initially struck with some sticker shock, it was definitely worth every penny after seeing the completed work and the installed products (Rheem).

Service Plus was great. Jared, the technician, was on time, courteous, and easy to work with. They do a good job and provide consistently good service. We will continue to use Service Plus for our plumbing and HVAC needs.

This was for the Spring tune up of my heat pump. I believe it is around $99 for two yearly check ups, plus discounts on future work. Easy to schedule. Great Call Center Customer Care! You receive text message when tech is on way, includes picture and short bio so you know who is coming into your house. Charles Dabney was my tech and is an outstanding professional! He noticed something was wrong with a few wires. It was outside of his expertise. Instead of just leaving it alone he called his senior tech to drive over and take a look. It extended the duration of the appointment but was well worth it. They replaced the wires at no charge. Can't comment enough about how great Charles was! It quickly came across he cares about his work and his customers.

Our plumber was on-time, well-mannered, and sought to find the leak even though it was quite a mystery. After being relentless in solving the mystery, he found an inexpensive solution and even talked us out of replacing something that was only mildly problematic.

Service Plus reps were prompt, knowledgeable and polite. We have used this company since we first moved into our home in 2016 and have been pleased each and every time we have used their services.

Every piece of my contact with this company was exceptional starting with calling to make the appointment, the follow up from them ahead of the appointment, and the professionalism of the plumber. Absolutely first rate. Prior to the arrival of the plumber I received a text from the company letting me know he was on his way with his photo. He called as well to let me know he was coming. He was dressed in a crisply ironed shirt and immediately put on shoe covers when he entered. He gave good counsel and completed the repair quickly. I paid him with a credit card and had an emailed receipt before he had backed out of the drive. Terrific experience.

The technician advised against flushing the water heaters since it had been a few years since the last flush and disturbing the sediment in the bottom of the heaters could cause more problems. I appreciated his advice which ended up saving me the cost of flushing!

I've used Service Plus for work on our home in the past, so when I needed a toilet repair at my office, I decided to give them a call. They arrived the same day to do the inspection/diagnosis/quote and recommended the most cost-efficient option based on our needs. However, we ran into some miscommunication when it came to getting the work actually scheduled and making sure expectations were correct (the part ended up having to be ordered from the manufacturer which delayed the work by 1.5 weeks) and I have shared this feedback with the office staff. Other than that, the service team members that came on site were professional and knowledgeable. I would use Service Plus again.

The technician was later than had originally been indicated, but Service Plus kept us updated on the status. They also texted a picture of the technician before he arrived. Gabe did a very good job. Our furnace is located in the garage. He took "booties" on and off his shoes each time he went in and out of the house. Gabe presented 3 options for the repair and explained them clearly. He also mentioned that our humidifier wasn't working and gave us an estimate of what it would cost to repair, but didn't pressure us to have the work done. We felt that they were accurate in their evaluation and that the price was fair. We would definitely use them again.

The employee that performed the work was professional and competent. He represented the company well. A pipe busted in the ceiling of our basement storage room, so we were forced to shut off the water. We called several companies, and they were the first to call back. The employee took care of the problem in about an hour. He discussed the cost of this job with my husband before he began the work. Of course, that really didn't mean much to him. In other words, you can't dispute charges for work performed before the work is actually performed- because there is no way to assess the fairness/equity without witnessing the process and the finished work. Long story short, it took less than an hour. The bill was $817.78. When I realized how much we were charged versus the amount of time and effort to fix the problem, I was shocked. I felt it must have been a mistake. But, to be fair, before I called Service Plus, I figured I should do my homework. I went to 2 different Lowe's locations and talked to two different associates and determined that the RETAIL price of the parts required to fix our issue was about $25 -$35. I also did some homework on the average hourly wage of a plumber...around $26. Now I realize that there is a lot of overhead in business, so you have to factor in those costs. However, based on this info, I just think it's excessive. After about a week and a half of vm tag, I finally was able to talk with a gentleman to verify the charges. He said they were correct. He said that they bill by a 50/40/10 rule, which basically delineated what portion of the charges were applied to various costs for the overhead and actual services performed. This gentleman also said that he knows they are not the cheapest, but they offer superior service, which justifies the costs. He also added that he knew the charges were in line with other service providers because the owner was friends with other service providers in this industry, such as Williams Comfort Air, so they talk with each other. You can draw your own conclusions about that statement. Therefore, no refund was issued. I asked the insurance adjuster about the charges, and he said it seemed high, but it was still within the scope of services. I am paraphrasing, but he said that he sees prices all over the board, some companies charge $150 for what another company will charge $800. The bottom line is that I've tried to be fair with this review. Our basement was flooded, we needed help asap, they were the first to call back, and show up. They did a good job, the plumber was really nice, and the ppl in the call center were nice and helpful. I'm sure they have higher overhead than a "mom and pop," and I'm sure that's the reason they were able to give us good service. So, based on the facts, I would just say that you can draw your own conclusion. However, after doing some basic homework, I still feel that the charge was excessive.

The minute that the Service Plus plumber walked in he said it wasn't sewer gas. He checked (with a really strong flashlight) the drains and said they all had water in them. He thought the smell might be from the jets in the bathtub (which I never use). He suggested filling the tub with water and bleach and running it for a few minutes and then let it sit and then drain it. No more smell. It was worth the price of the service call to have that smell stop. Some orange colored foam was left on the top of the tub water after I drained it. I believe that was what had been in the pipes.

Our main level, master shower was leaking into our basement laundry room. The technician spent nearly 3 hours trying to find the source of the leak. After clearly explaining the costs involved, he cut a 14x14" hole in the ceiling near the water damage. After a couple hours, he finally determined that the leak was coming from a crack in the shower floor, which we could patch with caulk. While we were relieved to have a simple, inexpensive fix, there was nothing for SP to do. We paid a reasonable amount for their time, which was explained up front - no surprises. The staff is always very thoughtful and straight forward.

I called service plus and they had a guy out within an hour to turn off the water, and the plumber out within 20 minutes of that to work on solving the leak. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and all was said and done within a couple hours of noticing the leak. They were professional and quick. I used them again for a toilet problem and had the same experience. I will use them for all future plumbing issues.

this what they told me I needed: Performed furnace service inspection. Recommending replacing draft inducer motor due to higher than average amp rating. 1.7 rating 2.25 amp draw, cost for parts and labor $712.24. Also gave option to have humidifier replaced for the cost of $1992. Existing humidifier leaks due to age and hard water....Ok the cost of whole house humidifier is way out of line. Really $1992? I don't have hard water. Humidifier is only 3 years old. You can buy an inducer motor part around $200.00. The furnace is only 5 years old. They try to put wool on people eyes. I will them only for cleaning the furnace & AC. Plus they were hour late without calling my house phone.

Communication was great leading up to the repair. The professional gave me advance notice, was very professional, and did a great job with the repair.
