Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing

We love Service Plus and have used them for almost all of our plumbing needs. They are very responsive, there technicians arrive on time and are always very helpful. I have no reservations to hire them again or to recommend them to others.

We were scheduled for an inspection and water heater draining on Monday August 28th between 10:00am and 12:00pm. AT 10:20 we received a call that due to a high volume of calls over the weekend they would have to reschedule to another day. This happened to us when we had an air conditioning inspection scheduled earlier this year. Same thing. They had a high volume of calls over the weekend and they had to reschedule. This time we just told them to cancel the inspection due to our busy schedule. They did offer a $50 credit on any future work, but we won't be using them again.

Service Plus has done major plumbing, HVAC and air filtering work for us for the past two-and-a-half happy years: Sewer lateral pipe-bursting and re-piping; re-ducting of the snake pit in our basement and plenum repair; install and service high-end air filtering. I tell people Service Plus is the high standard for great service – the desk people, the back office, the professional and personable techs, the management and ownership. I don't believe we could do better than Service Plus.

Excellent. We've had them for several years. Techs are all good guys, experienced and trustworthy. Management is responsive. I recommend them highly.

The entire experience was excellent. Kara (the scheduler) was very accommodating and friendly on the telephone, and over e-mail. They send a text with a photo of the technician that will be arriving at your house, and an e-mail with the same photo, and a short biography of the technician. John T. was one of the best home service technicians that has ever been to my house. Now, granted, the job wasn't too terribly difficult, but John was very respectful (booties, asking politely for permission to do things, etc.), he clearly communicated everything he was doing, and even went so far as to double check and explain things to me as he was finishing up. I will look first to Service Plus for their types of services in the future, and I definitely recommend them. The entire experience was how I always want to be treated.

The technician says they'd get hung up in corrugated drains and couldn't say it would for sure fix the problem. They weren't sure what that would cost to even try, so checked with manager and it was more than to clear the drain in a house, over $1,200 and it might not do any good. And it cost me $79 to find out that info that should have been able to be told to me on a free phone call. So I learned a bit of an expensive lesson, to ask more questions on the phone and to not use this supplier.

It went very well. We purchased a year "membership" last year that included discounts on work and yearly HVAC check and plumbing flush. They called me to remind me of my purchase, were very easy to schedule with on the phone, and the technicians who came to do the work we're friendly, worked quickly, and kept me informed on what was happening.

Called to set up service for plumbing problem and got an almost immediate time for repair. From initial phone call to actual service, very pleased with everything. Would highly recommend and will use again in the future if needed.

It went well and was fairly quick. Mr. Dabney, my technician, explained my options very well and hurried to the supplier to get the part (a new A/C capacitor) I needed before it closed for the weekend. He got our system back up and running during the very hot weather.

Awesome, awesome, AWESOME! 80-gallon office water heater sprung a leak at 3:00 on a Wednesday afternoon. I called Service Plus and spoke with Natalie, who was GREAT!!! She got our request for a technician in right away and told me we’d receive a 30min notice phone call before the tech arrive. Sure enough, Jennifer (also awesome) called to let me know Josh was on his way. Josh arrived around 4:00, drained the water heater, and got us set up for a replacement the following morning. Next morning Josh arrived and started working right away and had the entire process done by 10am. He was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Simply can’t say enough good things about this company and its employees. They made this entire process painless, which is truly hard to come by these days. THANK YOU ALL!

I had an emergency, as my basement flooded due to heavy rain and my old sump pump was not working. They came promptly, did the work efficiently, and it seems to be working well. They are very easy to deal with.

They were able to make an appointment within a few days of the service request. They came when they said they would, did the installation, mostly cleaned up after themselves. They also did a follow-up call a few days later to make sure it was working well. They are very easy to deal with.

My service window was 3-5:00 pm. They called to ask if it was OK for the technician to arrive closer to the 5:00 time. That seemed fine since we didn't need to leave home until 5:45. The technician called at 4:55 to let me know he was heading my way...but he was 25 minutes away. I told him that we had to leave at 5:45, so it was going to have to be a fast estimate because I couldn't reschedule for the next morning. Gabe was professional and efficient. He answered my questions and talked to me about his recommendations as he was surveying the situation. He prepared an estimate that the office was able to email to me later. I didn't use Service Plus because their estimate was higher than the company that we currently use.

Their sales person was very thorough and professional! Unfortunately, pricing was 50% higher. It was difficult to justify this high price.

I had to re-schedule from Fri 5/25/18 due to their issues with emergency calls. I requested my appt be set for Sat 6/2/18 at 8 am or 1st appt for technician. This did not happen. I am 2nd in line supposedly after the Tech finishes 1st job. I am sorry but Service Plus treats their maintenance contract customers like 2nd class citizens. I have spent a lot of money with Service Plus for updates to my home. I do not appreciate being lied to by their scheduling personnel.

These people are a lot more concerned about selling a $ 7K system then they are for the our comfort in our home. They do not seem very competent in providing equipment for an older home. Although our home is 90 years old, it is less than 2,000 sq. ft, has brick walls, and new insulation in the roof. That doesn't seem to be a huge logistical problem to me. We currently have no less than 6 fans moving air through our home because parts of the house are as cold as meat lockers and others need fans to move the AC. The 2 fans in the master bedroom are so loud we can't hear the TV. I have had 2 technicians come only to tell me the problem is that my house is old and I need to pay them more money to zone the system to make it effective. They sure didn't mention that when they were asking for a check for the new AC system. Also, I didn't have the fan issue with the old system. I see that this company is highly rated but they sure haven't shown me anything positive.

Went fine, although with both the furnace tune-up in the fall and the ac tune-up this spring other maintenance services were recommended, so just know you may receive a pitch for other services. But not high pressure so was ok to say no to the additional services.

Everything went well. They sent a out a promo to have a drained cleaned for $88. They came out within a few days of calling. Josh was great. I'd use them again.

We have used service plus for HVAC needs in the past and have been very happy. We thought we would have them give us a quote to finish the bathroom in our basement. One plumber came out and quoted about $4500, then we called back and were ready to talk more seriously, and another plumber was sent out (original had left the company), the new plumber came out and quoted 10,000! We called two other A rated plumbing companies with similar number of reviews on Angie’s list and were quoted 2,000 by one and 2,500 by the other. Needless to say, I have no idea what made their price so much higher, but we obviously didn’t select them to move forward with the project. We are halfway through with another plumber, and are very happy with the results for a quarter of the price.

I found Service Plus on Angies List and saw all the positive reviews so I reached out to schedule a check-up of our newly purchased houses HVAC. The technician was on time and I loved getting a text message with the bio of the tech coming out and the estimated time of arrival. Charles did a thorough job and was upfront and honest with all his findings. He gave me a good, better, best estimate of the work he thought should be done. He did not pressure me into doing any of the work and left me with the 3 estimates to decide how I wanted to proceed. I have signed up for the annual membership and look forward to working with Service Plus in the future.
