Description of Work: I had bought the Angie's list deal for $99.00 for one hour of plumbing labor and no service charge. Ron from Service Plus showed up on time (after calling on the way) and then explained that the deal really meant they would deduct one hour of labor from the normal charge for whatever service was requested. I said that the Big Deal was very misleading and that I would not have bought it if I had realized that. He understood and went ahead and honored my request to install a new bathroom vanity without any extra cost. He was efficient, thorough, professional, clean, and friendly. He went above and beyond the Big Deal to also loosen a valve in another bathroom that was frozen. I have nothing but good things to say about him and about Service Plus in general. They also have serviced my heater and air conditioner, as well as done some other work related to my heater exhaust system. I have always been pleased with them, but this was my first encounter with their plumbing side. I would definitely call them again for any of my plumbing needs!

Description of Work: They came to the house today. I was quite pleased with the price because they didn't charge me any more than what I'd paid. Helpful, courteous, and, as I said, I was pleased so give them a tin star.

Description of Work: Purchased Furnace Tune Up, Big Deal, from Angie's List. Representative called in advance to advise of arrival time. Right on time, professional and friendly. Put on shoe protectors before walking through the home. Explained clearly what he was going to do, performed work thoroughly. After starting furnace, checked temp readings at vents to ensure system was heating properly throughout our home. I'd never seen that done by other companies I've used. We have some A/C issues that we will be addressing in the spring, and will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: We had this company come out and check our air conditioner, which was not working. The man who came out said we had a leak and recommended that we replace the unit. We had a salesman come out and give us an estimate for a new system. They gave us an estimate for a couple of different systems, but when we asked him to give us an estimate for a geothermal system he gave us what we thought was an abnormally high price. We had the feeling that they did not want to put in a geothermal system for us, so we asked a couple other companies to give us estimates. We went with another company, whose price was half of what Service Plus had quoted us, and we never heard another word from the people at Service Plus. We may have them service our air conditioner in the future, but we are not sure at this time.

Description of Work: Wonderful Company, they saved my life!! Hottest week of the summer and my air conditioner stopped working! I had three estimates two of which showed up but then never sent me a quote. I was getting desperate to find reliable and professional people. Service Plus came to my rescue. Description of Work: Air conditioning was not blowing cool air. Gabe spotted the problem immediately - the filters on the unit were filthy! He insisted on cleaning them for me - took them to the backyard and sprayed them with the hose. Then showed me how I missed these two additional filters and how to correctly re-insert them once they dry. He asked me to turn off the unit until it defrosts, and that should take care of the problem! Thanks to the Angie's List $25 coupon that Service Plus provided, the service call only cost me $50. (And I was afraid they were going to tell me that I needed a new air conditioner). I was so relieved not to get a sales pitch like most companies feel the must give. Gabe just quickly fixed the problem, thanked me for calling Service Plus and said to call tomorrow if that doesn't take care of the problem. Very, very pleasant and professional. Thanks Gabe!

Description of Work: Had difficulty getting a promised final reporting after an energy audit. After submitting my report to Angie's List Chris Cunningham, the owner, contacted me with a heartfelt apology and explanation in regards the delay. He was very kind to refund my cost for the audit and made sure I received the written report/recommendations I had been waiting for. His willingness to make things right and accept full responsibility for the "snafu" went far in swaying my opinion about the experience in a more positive light. Had his company followed thru on their initial promise and/or followed up on phone inquiries I would have given them an over all better grade.

Description of Work: I had bought the Angie's Big Deal coupon for a summer tune-up for my air conditioner, so Cody came out today to do that. He called first to say he was 20 min. away (which I appreciate due to my "watch dog") and when he arrived, put on "booties" over his shoes before he came in. He was very professional and got to work right away. He checked my outdoor AC and then went downstairs to check the part in the basement. He was very thorough and explained everything in great detail. I honestly have never had such a complete inspection and report just to have the AC readied for summer--very impressive. It was a good deal in the first place, but I signed up for their yearly plan that will cover spring and fall tune-ups and inspections and offer other discounts on repairs, if needed. I would definitely recommend them.

They emailed a reminder of the appointment the day before, called before arriving, and arrived on time. The technician was very pleasant and explained everything he did and potential problems he found. He was very professional and did not pressure me to perform repairs that were not urgent. Description of Work: Had a problem with my thermostat replacement, so I called Chris Cunningham, the owner of Service Plus H&C to assist with a solution. (Note: Service Plus had performed a maintenance check in recent months.) He was quite cordial and helpful and shed some much-needed technical light on the problem and what I needed to do to get the problem resolved without the assistance of a service tech. This is the kind of above-average service help that puts a company above the rest. Kudos to Chris for helping me with my problem; I'll be sure to call on Service Plus for my next scheduled maintenance service or any other HVAC need, for that matter.

Description of Work: Had the furnace checked during its annual maintenance by another company and found that the heat exchange was cracked. Called around and got several quotes for a new furnace. Called Service Plus and they were out the next day to inspect the provide a free estimate. Bill (Sales guy) showed up right on time and was very professional. Provided a thorough evaluation of the existing system and documented what the options were for the best fit of the house. After considering several quotes, Decided to go with Service plus, both for cost, but also value and the professionalism showed by the company. Chris showed up no the date for installation right on time. Installation was a little difficult due to the location of the existing furncae. Chris did a great job putting the new system in, and re-building some of the transition peaces to connect to the new high efficient system. Bill returned the next day to conduct a walk through, provide invoicing, rebate paperwork and answer any additional information

Description of Work: It was an Angie's list special for furnace inspection. Did a thorough job and sent us a detailed list of what was inspected including things like air in and out temperatures.
