My husband found Scott and had the initial contact with him. Scott is a one man shop small business. We brought the chair to him along with some fabric swatches I had picked up. He looked at the chair and said the springs needed to be retied, the webbing would have to be replaced because of dry rot, and we needed new padding. All of this we already knew to be true. We discussed the pros and cons of the swatches I had. I ultimately decided to use one of the fabrics from his selection. He gave us an estimate for the total cost. It was more that I had planned on spending but the chair had been in my family for over 100 years and I did want to keep it and actually be able to use it. Scott estamated the work to take 2-3 weeks. We left the chair with him and I was very comfortable that we had done the right thing and chosen the correct person to do the work. 3 weeks later we called to check on the progress. Scott said he would probably have it finished the next day. He did call the next day to say it was done and we picked it up on Sept. 17. He had to make 1 minor change because of the condition of the frame, but until he pointed it out, I hadn't noticed it. I had given him some leeway when we left the chair to complete it as best he could to the way it was when we brought it in. He had made all the repairs, leveled the legs and did excellent touch-up on the wood legs. He also gave me the extra fabric, extra "buttons" and leveling pads for the legs. Although the cost was a little more than I expected he did not charge us for the extra work he did and the price was fair.

He did a fine job with the furniture. He came to the house and showed us samples of the material. I am looking at them and they still have the same material and look fine. I am happy with the way it turned out.

Scott was punctual, accommodated our schedule , was courteous & prompt.

Scott is just getting back into upholstery business. His workmanship is excellent and I am pleased. However he is disorganized, work area cluttered, etc. But he is pleasant and disorganization doesn't affect quality.

MR. WORLEY WAS MOST RESPONSIVE TO MY BROKEN RECLINER CHAIR PROBLEM (I SLEEP IN IT). HE ARRANGED HIS APPOINTMENTS SO HE COULD GET TO ME AT AS SOON AS WAS POSSIBLE. HE WAS PUNCTUAL, EFFICIENT IN HIS WORK AND IS AN EASY PERSON TO BE AROUND.

CALLED FOR ESTIMATE. NEVER RETURNED CALLS.

HE WAS A BIT POKEY, BUT THE WORK IS NICE. HES VERY LOW-KEY, NOT A HARD SELL GUY. GOOD WORK, PICK-UP AND DELIVER. HES A ONE MAN SHOW, AND DOES EXCELLENT WORK.

VERY UNRELIABLE, DID NOT COMPELTE WORK. HALF COMPLETED JOB.

HE CAME BACK TO FIX A DOG-CHEWED BIT OF UPHOLSTERY ON A SOFA HE HAD DONE A FEW YEARS BEFORE. HE DID NOT CHARGE THEM FOR THE REPAIR. THEY THOUGH THAT REMARKABLE.

BEGAN WORK IN JULY AND FINISHED IN NOV. SOFA LOOKED GOOD/CUSHION LOOKED BAD. FELT HE CHARGED TOO MUCH. GENERALLY UNSATISFYING EXPERIENCE.

TOOK FOREVER--WHEN CHAIR CAME BACK IT WAS NOT COMPLETELY RE-UPHOLSTERED. PROVIDER DID RETURN DEPOSIT HOWEVER.

MEMBER IS NEEDLEPOINTING CHAIR-SEATS HERSELF AND S. WORLEY IS ATTACHING THE FINISHED SEAT TO THE CHAIRS ($25 PER CHAIR); VERY NICELY DONE

RE-UPHOLSTERED COUCH; VERY HAPPY W. QUALITY

CAME TO THE HOUSE TO SEW UP A TEAR IN A LEATHER SOFA. DID A GREAT JOB AT WHAT THEY CONSIDERED A VERY LOW PRICE.

TOOK IN TWO LAZY-BOY CHAIRS. HE HAD THEM SIX WEEKS, BUT I WOULD STILL RECOMMEND HIS WORK. THE CHARIS ARE LIKE NEW.

RE PUNCTUALITY - HE TOOK 7 WEEKS WHICH SEEMED A LITTLE LONG, BUT WE DO THINK HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. HE BROUGHT THE CHAIRS BACK LOOKING LIKE TWO NEW CHAIRS. LAZY-BOY WING-BACK ROCKERS.
