SCOTT WORLEY UPHOLSTERY

Mr. Whorley showed up promptly (actually even a little early--how often does that happen?). Our leather sofa had an approximately 1" tear in the middle of the cushion. He was able to repair the tear so well, that you can hardly see it's there. It took quite a bit of time, He was very exacting in his work and the results are great.

Due to cat claws, my leather sofa was damaged in several areas, including on one of the arms. There were scratch marks and areas where the leather was picked out, leaving small holes. After looking at the damage, Scott warned me that it couldn't be made to look perfect, but that he would do his best to make it look good. He did a great job! He was very responsive, calling me and setting up an appointment within an hour or two of my initial inquiry. The very next day, he came in and spent more time than I anticipating (in a good way) making sure he matched the color of the leather and repairing all the damaged areas. He invited me to inspect his work before he left and cleaned up well behind himself. The next day, he called to make sure the color still appeared to match well in the daylight, offering to come back if it didn't. The sofa looks great in the light as well. I'm very happy with Scott's work. He was truly professional throughout the entire process, and his price was more than fair. Highly recommended!

Excellent service and repair. I looked looked at the job on a Sunday and quickly figured out i hadn't the tools nor expertice to make the repair. I called Scott, thinking I'd leave a message and follow up Monday. He came out that afternoon, after the game, to check out the job and was able to take the piece with him. He made the repair within a day or two and then worked with me and my schedule when delivering the repaired piece back to our home. I was initially concerned because the sectionals are sturdy and solid construction by a company, Norwalk Furniture. Scott exceded my expectations with the repair. His construction was bigger and sturdier than the original mounting block. I was very satisfied with his service and would definitely use him again in the future.

I would not recommend them. He was going to refinish some chairs for our kitchen and he actually sub it out to somebody else because he couldn’t do it like he should have done it or whatever. We actually had to use chairs from another set. He just didn’t finish any of the work in a timely fashion and one of the chairs isn’t really right to this day. I just couldn’t deal with him anymore. There was no communication with him and the interim. It’s like he dropped off the face of the earth. At the same time, I wasn’t on time of him because I was dealing with my husband’s issues and actual moving. I felt that he is a professional and should have been in touch with me. When I finally got in touch of him, it was a sob story of that he couldn’t do this and couldn’t do that. I don’t really know what happened. If you have problems, you call your clients and let them know upfront and he did not do that. He seems really eager to get the work and was very responsible at the beginning but then just let it go on and on and on. The pricing was reasonable for the work done in the end.

They did fine. They were on time. They came out beforehand and brought samples and were happy to use the fabric that I had found. Finished product turned out great!

Mr. Worley did an excelent job. I can not see where the damage was. He spent quite a bit of time, going over each repair until he was sure it was perfect.

I hesitate to write this review. I took an antique rocker to Mr. Worley in January, paid him $110 cash in advance, and left the chair. He delivered it last week and demanded payment of $110. Checking the receipt together, we were able to note that "paid in full" had NOT been marked. I reminded him, but he had genuinely forgotten. So I paid again. My bad for not writing "paid in full" or paying by check! But he is responsible for record-keeping and for timeliness. As a result, I paid double.

We live in Boone County and had not been able to find an upholsterer. We contacted Scott Worley Upholstery via Angie's List to reupholster a rocking chair we had inheirited. We delivered the chair to him at his home/workshop in late Sept or early Oct and he stated he would have it back to us "before the holidays". Sadly, we did not receive the chair back until a week before Christmas; by our calculations. at least one holiday had already past and most of the Christmas parties, too. Anyway, Scott cited numerous reasons for the delay: difficulty getting the fabric we had selected, other jobs he needed to complete, health issues, etc. The check we had given him at the time we dropped off the chair had not been cashed until he called us to say the chair was ready, which I thought showed his integrity. The chair itself is/was a bit of a puzzle. If one looks at it closely, it is obvious how far into the reupholstery he got before other issues came into play. Most areas are neatly finished with tacks and no loose threads. Other areas, however, were simply stapled in place with the odd thread hanging out here or there. Would we use him again? Probably, but I would get a written statement as to when the furniture would be finished.

He came on time, did a great job and cleaned up after he was done.

Contacted Scott Worley through Angie's List reviews. Scott is a personable man who knows furniture and his craft. Scott came to our home with fabric choices, gave us an estimate of the cost for the labor and material. We asked for the loveseat to be completed by October 1st. He called on that day and said it was ready. It looks brand new! We plan to have other furniture upholstered with Scott. He said that some older furniture is constructed better than new current models and getting it re-upholstered lets you keep and continue to use quality furniture.

My friend had the fabric which did not match the sectional exactly. Scott came up with a creative way so that you could not tell the fabric was slightly different than the original fabric. He did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. My friend would use his service again and highly recommends him to anyone who needs upholstery work.

Scott did an excellent job reupholstering my chaise. I had purchased it from Crate & Barrel but didn't like the available fabric choices. I had the fabric and Scott picked up the sofa and dropped it off in a few weeks. Since it was a large piece I had to wait a few weeks for him to free up - other than that - everything was perfect. The only drawback was I had to keep phoning him to see when he could get to it, but that was really no biggie. I would definitely use him again.

He came out promptly and was a very hard worker. Because I was moving soon, he finished the work in a quick and efficient manner. He did a wonderful job repairing my chair and tables. I would highly recommend him to others!

Called Scott to get an estimate on making three decorative pillows on Monday, July 2nd. Took materials to him later in day and he said they would be finished later in the week. He called on Friday morning to let me know they were finished. I provided material, fringe and down inserts. The pillows are beautiful and well made. Price was exactly as quoted. I will definitely use Scott again and highly recommend his services.

Mr. Worley re-covered 6 cushions for my porch furniture with fabric I provided. Excellent workmanship, matching of stripes on top/bottom cushions. He aslo added extra filling, which he thought they needed to enhance appearance. Very pleased with work, would use again.Donna Williams

I dropped the seat cushions off at Scott's workshop early in the week along w/ the fabric that I had purchased and he had the seats ready for pick-up by either Thursday or Friday (sorry, I'm not sure which). I really enjoyed working w/ Scott. I thought his work product was excellent. He went above and beyond the basic recovering of the seats. I would strongly recommend Scott.

The result is terrific! Because they are chairs from my grandmother and have had wear, making them comfortable was my primary concern. The chairs are incredibly comfortable with the addition of 2" of foam per chair. My second concern was that they look great and they do. Scott followed my directions exactly and I am thrilled with the result. My experience with Scott was really good. I found him on the list, emailed him, and received an email the next day. We chatted on the phone and I dropped the chairs and material off a day later. Scott encountered a little bump with the support structure and seat fitting once the new thick foam was installed pushing the completion date back, but he was able to get the job completed before we hosted a Super Bowl party on Sunday!

Mr. Worley was very professional from start to finish and my order was completed within a few days! What more could I ask for?

I dropped it off in November and picked it up in December. I would use them again in the future.

Scott did a great job from initial contact to finish. He kept us up to date on the progress when it ran a couple of days longer than expected. The detailing and copying of the original pad with the ties and snaps was excellent. He even added more padding to our original pad to make it better. He was professional in all aspects of the work.

It all went well. Scott works out of his garage in Broad Ripple. I dropped it off and he fixed it promptly. He dropped off the ottoman at our house in a few days.

We were very happy with the end result!

Repair was performed professionally and quickly. Where I thought I would need replacement foam for the insert, it merely needed additional nylon stuffing. Honest company with quality work.
