Schaefer Improvements

Description of Work: Purchased Big Deal. Work was fine. Bought a set number of hrs of work - was told would be two men. Turned out one of two was clearly an inexperienced apprentice type. Not a big issue seeing got a good price.

Description of Work: I scheduled service with Steve for May 2. On May 1, due to an unforeseen medical issue I contacted him to reschedule. He called me the morning of May 2 and told me it was okay to reschedule and that he would call me to do that once he got in to his office later that day. He did not call. I left voicemail for him twice the next week and twice the week after with no response. I also emailed him through the Angie's List site several times the two weeks after the previously scheduled service date. He never responded to emails. I would like to have the Big Deal purchase price refunded. |

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for four hours of handyman services. It was an all right experience.

Description of Work: I called Steven Schaefer on Monday and the voicemail was full. I text him on Monday and no reply. I called back Tuesday and was able to leave a voicemail, which stated my call would be returned in 2 days. Today is Saturday and still no phone call.

Description of Work: I purchased a $99 Big Deal for Four Hours of Handyman/Remodeling Services. I originally planned to do some touch ups, but we are getting that work done now. We haven’t used the Big Deal yet, but we plan to reach back out to them.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for 3 hours of handyman work. Mr. Schaefer showed up on time with an assistant and worked for 1 1/2 hours (to total the 3 hours). He was very pleasant and completed the work I wanted within the time frame. It was well done and he cleaned up afterwards. I would use him again.

Description of Work: I have left several messages for the owner of this company, Steve Schaefer. He will not return my calls. We had an apt scheduled in December, which I had to cancel due to illness. I have not been able to reach him via email or voicemail since. I believe the deal has expired but I called several times before and after it did. They have my money and I still need the work done. I used this company before and thought they did a good job. But this is unacceptable. I will not renew my Angie's list membership if this is not resolved.

Description of Work: They repaired and adjusted several things around the house. There were 2 men and they worked very efficiently. I was very please with what they did for me and I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: The company replaced two boards trimming my home's facade, and painted them. All work performed as expected.

Description of Work: If it wasn't for buying a Big Deal I would never have met and have been able to rely on Steve. Over the past several months, Steve was able to repair, replace and provide advice regarding work that needed to be done on my house. Steve was honest, dependable, fairly priced and great to work with. If there was something that was out of his scope of work, he always had a recommendation or referral. I was even able to rely on him to haul away junk that was left in my house when I moved. Thanks Steve!
