We called Ping for an estimate. They came out the next day and gave us an estimate to cut down, grind stumps, and take wood. We called two other companies and Ping was the best quote by far. We called them back to ask them how soon they could do the work and they came out 2 days later. The trees were close to the house so they climbed them to cut them down. They were a very easy company to deal with as well as professional and friendly. The guys did a great job cleaning up when they left.

They were extremely professional and I just couldn't believe the amount of work they did in the time they did it. The only concern was they left some ruts in the yard but I don't know how they could have prevented it with the crane and large equipment they had. They were so outstanding in all ways I hesitated to mention the ruts. They were outstanding.

Mr. Ping gave me a hand written estimate himself when he came out to see the work, but his office called back later and said it had been calculated incorrectly, and the correct estimate was considerably higher (by about $1000). Mr Ping also diagnosed a sick tree, and told me what treatment could be done and the cost for this and how long it should be done. The work was done professionally and appropriately, but did not include some work that I had requested (but never made it onto the estimate).

They gave gave me the estimate rapidly. Came out and trimmed the tree and did a great job. And they cleaned up after themselves. I felt that they were reasonably priced.

I was very pleased. I had asked to be home when the estimate was given. But, I did not get a call and the estimate was left in the door. When I called and tailed to Mr. Ping he explained things in better detail for me. I also asked to be home when the work was done. To accommodate my schedule we had to set three different dates due to rain. Today they were finally able to come out. I would say the clean up could have been better. But from past experiences they did much better that what I have had in the past. The crew leader was very accommodating to my questions and explained things in detail. It was amazing to see them climb a tree, tie themselves in and proceed to cut.

Couldn't get an estimate. Wouldn't set a time for estimate. Said they would have to charge me if set a time. Waited hours, At 3 pm called to see if coming. Said Phil Ping couldn't get there by 5 pm so would sent someone else within the hour. At 4;30 this someone else called and said he was in Claremont and on the way. I declined to wait any further knowing there was no way they could make the 20 miles through rush hour traffic in time and also knowing that I would never use them after being left waiting at a vacant lot all day. I fully believe that if I had not called to see if they were coming at all, I would have been completely stood up.

They not only removed the two trees, the also killed the stump and the roots. They cleaned it up and left it in perfect order.

Pings did a great job of taking down the dead tree without it hitting the fence. They sent someone later to grind out the tree stump and roots (and for Poplars they are everywhere!). They did a great job and clean up. You cannot tell there was ever a tree back there now!

Got tree down and taken away in about 2 hours. Thought they were reasonable in price for coming out for an emergency service on a Sunday. Thought they were extremely efficient and cleaned up after themselves.

Work was performed as described. Work was cleaned up well. It was a positive experience.

As far as I know, they did a very good job.

Did an excellent job - cleaned up the yard which looked better than when they came. Very efficient and quick - and the best estimate we got too!

The tree is dormant now because it's winter, I'll know more this spring.

I would have chosen them but their prices were too high. They were on time and very knowledgeable. They are business oriented and very polite. They are professional arborist. I felt comfortable with them and they have several good reports on Angie's List. They work with my schedule and make themselves available to the customer.

I was afraid it might fall on my house or my neighbors' house. They came properly to give me an estimate. I was anxious for it to be cut down promptly before it fell on my house or my neighbors' house and I was anxious for it to be cut down while the weather was nice. It was my second estimate.

Excellent. Very professional, nice, efficient. They are really fast. They aren't cheap, but very professional. Keep up good work.

I thought they were excellent. They got here, and had good equipment.

They did a fabulous job, they were very polite, and skilled. We got estimates from two other companies and Ping's was the least.

Very bad service. They made 3 big mistakes: 1) I asked them to thin a tree in my front yard but not to raise the canopy, since it's the only privacy to my front door. When doing the work, they did exactly what I asked NOT to do. 2) They yelled at me for being an Angie's List member and not presenting my coupon at the time of the estimate, despite the fact that I had told them at my initial call that I couldn't meet them personally for the estimate and inquired at that time how they would honor the coupon. They gave me some line that it's too hard to go into their computer system later to adjust the price after the estimate. Sure! 3) They trimmed the wrong tree (confused between a Spruce and a Maple, I guess). They also made some smaller mistakes: A) charged me more than they quoted for one tree, B) never returned any of my calls, C) never told me what day they would be coming to do the work. To their credit, they eventually trimmed the correct tree and charged the agreed upon price.

Professional job at a reasonable price.

Person did not show up on time for estimate but left same at the door later during the day with a lot of helpful additional info. Service was very good and professional. ATTENTION though: When you are not around for the estimate they will not honor the Angie's list coupon! Also they invoice ahead of all services being completed.

I asked for an estimate to remove a tree. They faxed me the estimate and I gave my approval to have the work done. They completed the work in a very professional manner, left the work area virtually spotless. They were a joy to work with. I had no idea on what the project would cost but I feel they were very fair. I would recommend this company highly.
