I am so grateful to Peter and SavATree for providing an expert opinion on the best solution to save my tree and provide the concrete company with reasons and the best possible solution. I am confident now that I will have a great sidewalk and still enjoy my beautiful 30 foot spruce!

I called around lunch time, they came out to do the estimate later that day. I received the quote later that evening, and it was a fair price. I approved the quote and the team was out the next day. They were professional and did a great job and cleaned up the property.

Arborist Peter Fife, Ron, Jessy and his tree removal crew, and the tree stump grinder are all rock stars! I've been a Ping's Tree Service, now known as SavATree, customer for years. And they were outstanding as usual removing two mature oak trees and their stumps.

An arborist came over, he was very nice. Took the branches off from a crab apple tree within just 15 to 20 minutes and did not charged me, because he said I am a repeating customer.

The service was great. The trees was taller then the house 3 story high.

They did an nice job and I would definitely hire them again. I would recommend them.

I have used Ping's for thousands of dollars of work - taking down trees, pruning, treatments - since moving into our home 10 years ago. Their arborists are truly experts. Unfortunately, my last engagement went very poorly. The issue - they come and review the work you need while you are not at home to be able to discuss. This always made me nervous, but it has been ok in the past - probably because we were just taking entire trees down (straight forward). This last spring, I asked for a large arm/limb be removed from one of our trees. They gave me an estimate of $279. It was one cut and one long limb, so this seemed reasonable. They said they would be out in 2-3 weeks. After over 4 weeks, I had to call. Next issue - they come and do the work while you are not there for discussion/approval. I came home after work, looked, and realized that they didn't remove the limb at all. They removed a tiny branch off of the limb. Small enough that we could have done it ourselves and could have been yard debris after a windy storm. FOR $279!! I assumed that they must have made a mistake. I called and they sent someone out (I insisted on being there this time). Without being able to see the tiny twig his team cut, he said that their work was correct and that if I wanted the whole limb it would be $379. I realized that I was being taken. They didn't want to admit they were wrong and have to send the crew back. After many calls/emails where I explained that I was happy to pay them $279 if they just completed the work - no problem, they sent it to a lawyer. I was asked to respond within 30 days with a response, I did, and the lawyer dropped it. So, now they have sent me to collections... I've spent thousands with them, but now its principle. It's not a professional way to treat a repeat customer that is 100% willing to pay for a done job. I'm not saying don't use them. We did for years. However, DO NOT let them do estimates and work while you are not there. Their idea of a tree, branch, twig, etc... may not be the same as yours.

The service was excellent! They were quick and efficient. They did a great job.

I couldn't be more pleased. It took a couple weeks for them to get out but the communication was great. They were worth the wait. They did a very good job and took care of all the debris.

Topnotch. The best I've ever used. They are little pricey but you get what you pay for.

I had to wait 5 weeks to get work done, although one week delay because of severe storm.Estimate called for tree removal. wood(Logs) removal, and grinding the stumps down 5" below ground level. I though this would be done all in one day. It ended up being done over 3 days with different crews coming each day.They said that mulch from stump grinding would be left, but I thought they meant in the 5" gap over the stumps. Instead it was a big pile of mulch in our back yard. I had to pay 100.00 more to get most of it removed. There was still a layer of mulch but I was told the grass would grow through it. Even though I had problems with them I would hire them again. They were courteous, and tried to accommodate me. But they need to tell people that tree removal would be a process over several days, instead of all in one day

They did a great job, they cleaned up after themselves. They were very careful with the plants surrounding the trees, they were also helpful and courteous in helping me to carry heavy materials around. Their pricing was reasonable.

This was a difficult situation because the tree had been ripped from its trunk and was leaning from the ground and wedged in another tree. It was a trunk of about 24 inch diameter and was 60 feet tall. They did an excellent job of minimal damage to adjacent trees and cleaned up the area very well.

Not good. First of all, their estimate was 30% higher than my next highest estimate, but I wanted the work done by a professional, so I decided to pay the premium. I signed the estimate and e-mailed it back, and was told that the work would be done in 4-5 weeks. When I called 4 weeks later to check on the schedule, I discovered that the estimator had never turned in my estimate, and I wasn't on the schedule at all. I raised a stink, and so they came out within a couple days of my phone call. When they arrived, they realized that they couldn't fit their equipment through my gate, even though the estimator had said it wouldn't be a problem, so they had to use my neighbor's yard :-( . Finally, I came home that day and expected to have the work completed, but there were large pieces of wood left and the stumps weren't ground. When I called the estimator AGAIN, he said he forgot to tell me that a different crew hauls away the large pieces of trunk and grinds the stumps. It took them three weeks to get back out here to complete the job. The workers themselves were conscientious and hard-working, so this isn't their fault, but I regret my choice, given all the issues. Updated 11/9: I just hung up with the "customer service representative" who followed up on my concerns. Basically, she called to defend what the company had done and tell me that I was wrong. I have never had such a rude and unpleasant experience from someone who was supposed to be part of a customer service team. I would stay away from this company at all costs.

They did a good job. I will recommend and will continue to use them.

2 Trees that needs to be cut down and it was tight, They were able to removed two trees and ground the old stumps. They removed all the debris so you would never know they were there. Pricing was good and service was excellent. I will definitely use them, again.

I called and they said that I had to email them pictures so they could come up with an estimate, but told me that their minimum for an emergency was 2 hours for a 3 man crew and $379 per hour. Took me a while to find a camera and get the pictures. I emailed them the pictures and after another hour and a half they finally sent me their "estimate" which basically said the same thing they had already said over the phone but included exclusions - they would not remove the wood - that would take another crew and another estimate. By that time I had wasted half a day and the insurance was on my case to get the tree off the house so they could review the roof. I called them because their "estimate" told me what they would not do but never told me what they would do! I did not get a sufficient answer so I did not hire them.

Excellent. The cutting crew and the wood removal crew were very professional, efficient, and neat.

I had a huge oak tree that was in serious decline. The tree roots that were above ground were as big as a good sized tree. The crew took it down in sections and in one section were some raccoons one of whom came out and rode the section down to the ground. The area was cleaned up and the stump ground down. I would hire them again and as a matter of fact this was not the first time I had used Ping's Tree Service.

Job well done. The crew completed both trees within 45 minutes which included dropping the trees, clean up, and leaving the cut wood for me. The stump grinding was completed on another day after the utilities lines were located which the 811 call was initiated by the Ping team. I have used Ping Tree Service several times and will use them again.
