We had a large tulip tree fall on part of our roof from a June storm. My husband called them 1st thing the next morning and once he explained that there was a hole in our roof, they were at our house, removing the tree, within 2 hrs. They completed the job in 1 day without leaving too much of a mess - it was a 80 ft tree! They had 2 guys back in 3 days removing the stump. They did a very good job!!

The day they were scheduled (the appointment had been scheduled over a month ago and confirmed numerous times), there was a scheduling error. They were not able to be there as promised which caused significant inconvenience.

I requested to have a tree trimmed in mid-May. After receiving the quote, I agreed to have the work performed. The summer storms hit and I received a voice mail stating they were behind with emergency work. I waited three weeks and then called asking them to add another tree to my service request, if they ever showed. I was told they would get me scheduled. Again, I waited another month. One week ago, my wife received a call that they would be out on a Friday. They never showed and I never received a message. In total it has been almost 3 months from my original contact with them. I canceled my request and am going with another company.

They were excellent. They were also fast, efficient, and courteous.

Mr. Ping arrived at the appointment time and gave me an estimate of what the work would cost. He said that he may not be able to get to me with in the next few days. They showed up the next day and preformed the service. Tree looks great, as they removed limbs the were dead and others that interfered with the home. In 2 years I will have them back to evaluate the trunk that was damaged and evaluate if they were able to save it.

Ping's did an excellent job on the two stumps. The clean up work was very thorough. Would use their service again.

The crew did an excellent job! They arrived on time, and managed to take care of all three trees in one day. The crew were very careful with our yard and flower beds. None of our plants were touched, and there was only minimal damage to the yard where they had to park their basket truck. (The men used plywood sheets to prevent the truck from digging up the yard.) The only drawback was the price... it was a bit higher than the other estimates, but they were the only company that sent out an arborist to look at our project. I consider it money well spent. I would definitely hire them again.

They came out the next day to provide an estimate. The estimator was very professional and very thorough. He marked the trees in question with different colors of ribbon based on what was to be done such as remove or prune. Upon evaluating the proposals from competing vendors, his was a about $500 higher on a $3600 estimate. I liked his professionalism more than the low price bidder (both had insurance coverage, a requirement) so I tried to contact him to see if he could close the difference. The office manager took my original call and said that the estimator was in the field. I asked if she could contact him and have him give me a call to discuss his price. She said he was unreachable but would give him the message the next morning. I called again the following afternoon and asked for the estimator again. The office manager took the call again and said she didn't have a chance to give him the message that morning but would see to it that he got it the following morning and would ask about my pricing question. I asked if he was reachable by cell phone and she said no. Who doesn't have a cell phone today, especially someone that works in the field? She promised to have someone call me the following morning. I called again the next day and asked for the estimator or an answer. I spoke with a different person who said they would have the estimator call me on Monday. I explained to her that I was already on day 3 of my quest and wasn't there someway they could get a message to him. She then spoke to the office manager and apparently the office manager still hadn't relayed the message and had decided herself that the pricing was firm. The second person said that she would see to it that the estimator called me. That was over 3 weeks ago. I have not heard from them since so I have moved on to another, less expensive service. I guess the office manager concluded that they didn't need the work.

Service was great. The estimate was broken down into the different parts (ie take down of tree, debris removal, and firewood cutting). They also gave me quotes for other tree work that may need to be done at some point (this was at my request, I have about 60 trees in my yard). They did not try to push me on the other work, just gave me their opinions and cost. They even cut up some other large limbs for me without charging me anything. With all the storms it took a little while for them to get out (couple weeks), but they kept in contact and let me know when they would be out. Overall they did a great job, and at less than half what some other companies had estimated. (they even provide a copy of their bonding and insurance when they give you the quote, without having to ask for it). Very professional company, will definitely use them for any other tree work I need done.

Ping's was great! They did excellent work, scheduled it pretty quickly given that there was lots of storm damage around, and gave me a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Very nice and very responsive. We lost a large fork of a tree in our front yard at 4 AM on a Friday - called Ping's Tree Service at 8, Mr. Ping was at our house to inspect the tree at noon. He was very professional and efficient, and made some very sound recommendations for the future. I asked him to clear some additional tree items on our lot while the damaged limb was removed, he was very agreeable even in the busiest time of the year for tree service. Mr. Ping gave a verbal estimate which was followed by a written estimate via email, I approved by responding to the email (awesome - very efficient), and the offending and rather unsightly limb was cleaned up within 2 days. I was very impressed with the reasonable cost - very fair and about half what I expected. I have a large tree service coming up and plan to use Ping's again. I also watched a recent large commercial job this firm did across the street from my office; as expected from the reviews, expertly and efficiently done.

Indianapolis had been hit by a few brutal storms, so the company was very busy. It took a little more than four weeks for them to come and take down the tree. But, when they did the process was seamless. The crew was efficient and thoughtful. They moved our patio table so that debris wouldn't land on it and even got rid of a small pile of brush that was in my yard! Other than taking so long for service to be performed, which I completely understand why, my experience with Ping's Tree Service was top notch. I'll definitely use them to remove the remaining two trees.

The workmen were very professional and worked very hard. They cleaned up the yard well after work was completed.

They did a great job! They were in and out really quick. They had the right equipment to do it.

They came out during the beginning of the fall season to prune the trees. We have noticed, since then, some of the dead branches are still there, which leaves us wondering what we paid for.

We just waited all day for Ping's Tree Service to do tree trimming as arranged and they no-showed. When I just called (4:15 PM) to check on the status they could find no record of any arrangements having been made. It annoyed me that they implied that we were confused about the appointment because I most certainly did not imagine calling them and setting this up a few days ago. I will not use them again.

Wonderfully - they removed the trees promptly, neatly and even threw in some extra trimming!

We had used their services before. They were very careful of our flower beds and cleaned up well after they were done. They came when they said and we are satisfied with their work.

They told me they would not be charging the regular rate when they showed up. They told us that it would be an hourly rate with a minimum of two hours. The hourly rate also would not cover additional services, like the stump being removed. It only took them about twenty minutes to do the work but we still had to pay seven hundred dollars. A tree fell on our roof and we had called several places and when we talked to them they did not tell us about the change in rates until they showed up and we needed the tree removed right away, so we let them do it but feel we got taken advantage of.

After my initial call they came quickly and left an estimate. The guys that came to work on the tree were professional, friendly and did a great job -the trees look great and they cleaned up so that my yard looks better than when they came. They worked until the job was done even though it was late in the day. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again.

They were really good. I don't ever look to anyone else for tree service anymore.

They were able to come out sooner then originally estimated. They removed all material and left everything clean.

I liked them, but the price was a little high but very professional and honest people and very responsible. They showed up on time and cleaned up there mess very nicely.

I have used Ping's in the past with great satisfaction, so I knew they were the ones to call when my trees needed pruning. I received an estimate the same day for $330 (I forgot to mention the coupon!) and put myself on the schedule. Shortly after some summer storms came through the area and Ping's called to tell me that they were swamped with emergencies and my work would be delayed. No problem. A few weeks later, after more storms, I noticed that one of my other trees had become uprooted. I called Ping's to tell them about the problem and they assured me that they would complete the work right away. Sure enough, I returned home from work the next day to find my two trees pruned and my uprooted tree cut down. I love that they leave no sign that they have been there other than the work being done -- so neat! My trees look great. I received a bill in the mail a few days later.

I thought Mr. Ping and his wife were very nice and very courteous.
