They were very good. They didn't want to remove the stump right away, because the yard was wet and they didn't want their equipment to ruin our yard. 4-5 weeks later they came back without us having to call them to remove remove it.

They did a good job and cleaned everything up

About 80% of the job was done well and the other 20% was not done so well. I don't think they trimmed like they should have and they got stuck in our yard and didn't completely finish up filling in the ruts. They tried to smooth things over but not like they probably could have.

Everything went very well. They provided a lower estimate than our anything company and was comparable to a few others.

Pip is nine months old but for some reason doesn't quite get the "cat" thing. She climbs up very well with her yeti feet but hasn't quite figured out the climbing down part. I was looking for her after work and there she was, 30 feet up in a sweet-gum tree. We called to her but she was too afraid to climb down. My 16 foot extension ladder wasn't even close to reaching her. Almost 24 hours later, there she sits, hasn?t moved. Light rain and snow. No suggestions from the vet and just answering machines from Humane Society, Animal Control, and all of the tree services. I finally contacted Ping?s Tree Service via the emergency number (the owner?s personal cell number). The owner was vacationing in Florida. I probably woke him up. He was very understanding and gave me the personal cell number of his operations manager. I called him at 8:30 Saturday morning and he immediately left his home in Brownsburg and went to their shop to get a truck. He suggested that I actually rescue her since cats usually don?t respond well to strangers grabbing them. Pip was really ready to get down. She was acting like she was going to jump into my arms as the bucket got closer! After Carol dried Pip off and she got to eat and use the litter-box, her life returned to normal, split between sleeping, tormenting Scooter, our 21 year old cat and ignoring me! Some appreciation! Hey, at least I got a ride in the bucket.

We had used them for the first time. They were very responsive and did a really good job. They cabled a really big tree for us. If we hadn?t done it we would?ve lost the tree because around three months later we had an ice storm that would?ve split that tree. That tree was on the ground except for the cable. The cable had actually held it. It was on the ground and the branch on the other direction had snapped off. Cabling was expensive. It had to be cabled in two places. They had cleaned up after themselves. They were prompt and showed up when they were supposed to. They scheduled an early morning appointment and were here on time. They also finished when they said they were going to.

They came out quickly. They took the branches and leaves away. I was very satisfied. I have used them several times and have always been satisfied with the quality of their work.

They were very efficient and did an excellent job. They were highly professional and did a great job in the front yard on this huge oak tree that had rotted and we had to take out. We?ve also had a lot of trim work and so forth done by them, but they were quite expensive. We?ve got a lot of tree work done since the last time we?ve used Ping's Tree Service. We always call them and ask for a quote, but their rates have been high the last couple of years. They were considerably more expensive the last time we had used them.

The other provider couldn?t come out for 6 more weeks, and we were on a waiting list. We had used Ping?s Tree Service before, so they came out right after the storm. They were willing to haul away the wood too. They are always extremely dependable. However, their price was very high.

We have used them a couple of times. We had them come and give us an estimate. They give free estimates. They have an outstanding reputation in this area. We have used them and our neighbor used them before. They came and gave us an estimate and because we live in a historic district, they asked for assurance that we had permission to take the trees down even though they were on our property. They then took them down, ground them up, and took them away. They really have an excellent reputation in this area. We have been satisfied each time we have done anything with them.

Ping's was incredible. The stump was much larger than the foreman at first thought and took twice as long to remove, but the company honored the original estimate. I was very impressed by that and enjoyed working with Laura to make arrangements. We would like to plant a tree to replace the one removed and would definitely use Ping's to do that. Just a note to homeowners: Tree stumps yield much more mulch than you might think, so consider paying Ping's to remove the mulch when the stump is ground unless you have the need for a large amount of mulch.

The job went very well. They had the necessary equipment and personnel to do a difficult project. The tree was at the edge of a very busy street so they had to be very careful in dropping limbs. The work and cleanup went smoothly.

We called Ping's because of their excellent Angie's List rating. We had noticed an alarming loss of needles in somewhat large sections of three 12-13 year-old blue spruce trees that are on the east side of our screened porch and provide our privacy there. We also decided that if we had work done on those trees, we might as well have our honey locust (a little too top-heavy and pendulous) trimmed and a Beverly crab cut back that is a little too close to the front/side of our house. We also wanted the canopy raised on a linden and a red sunset maple raised so we didn't have to duck under them to cut the grass, and a Yoshino cherry reshaped slightly. Mike Webster came out to do the estimate. He is the Superintendent and an arborist. He marked the trees here and there for trimming and advised that the shade of the screened porch (added in the early fall of 2008) was causing too much shade and that was what was stressing our spruce trees. He also diagnosed some minor spider mite infestation. I pointed out a protuding piece of wire basket at the base of one tree from planting quite a few years ago and he suggested that they do some air spading to determine if the trees were also being strangled by poor planting and girdling roots and, if they were, could that be remedied and the trees worth saving in the long term. We agreed to the work, and a week or so later, the tree-trimming crew came out - I think the foreman's name was Jason - and trimmed the deciduous trees. Another week or so later, Jeff, another arborist, and Aaron came out to work on the spruce trees. After air-spading, Jeff decided the girdling was not major and the trees were worth saving. They cleaned away some girdling, cleaned up the trunks where we had done a less-than-perfect job of trimming ourselves, cut away what branches were actually dead, and injected liquid fertilizer into the ground around the spruces. Jeff said to water for two weeks, every other day for an hour and I asked about using a soaker hose - he said that would be fine. I ran out to buy the soaker and Jeff and Aaron even laid it out for me under the spruces. Everyone we have dealt with from Ping's has been totally professional and very helpful, answering lots of "who knew?!" questions.

I called for an estimate on my large sugar maple. They stopped by and gave us a very through estimate and even suggestions of what not to do if we went with another company. Beat everyone elses price by $10. We did most of our communication online. Work was proformed about a week and half after I gave the okay. They proformed the work as they described in the estimate, stayed true to the price in the estimate, and raked my leaves too!

The pear tree looks very nice, but the trimmers killed my pond fish because their chain saw(s) leaked oil or gas into the pond. They also removed a couple of my metal hose guards around my garden by unscrewing the tops from the shafts and now I cannot find the shafts to which they were attached. They negotiated cutting down a neighbor's weed tree with the neighbor because it would have killed the tree had they trimmed it back to the property line. They did a nice job cleaning up and were very pleasant to work with. I would have been much happier if my fish hadn't died and I didn't have to purchase new hose guards.

Ping's was prompt with a detailed, professional estimate. Accepted last minute work scope changes. Did an excellent job of removing trees, shrubs and stumps, along with hauling away all creating waste and existing landscape timbers. A very good experience. Will use again.

I had the stone damage. They came and removed that and trimmed the tree. I have used them in the past and they have done beautiful work for me. I will grade them high across all categories.

I could not be happier with them. They did exactly what I asked them to do and they were able to do the work promptly. They went above and beyond with the service. I would use them again in the future.

I was very satisfied with them. They were the cheapest in price and they did an excellent job. They cleaned up very well and they were here when they said they would be. I never did meet them and just spoke to them over the phone. They came and gave an estimate when I was not at home. I called them back and they came out and cut the tree down. I would use them again if need be.

They were prompt, came out to give me the estimate when they said they would and I had no problems with them.

The crew did well with the trimming and cleaned up afterwards. It did take several phone calls to get the work scheduled.

Ping's was most repsonsive of five places I called. I picked them not because they were the lowest price(which they were), but they answered all my questions about type of tree and appeased my emerald ash borer concerns. I had 3 different company's say the tree was elm,ash and hickory. Ping's was only one to get it correct as hickory. They made little mess. They did exactly what I asked them to do. They called when they arrived just to make sure we were both on the same page. They even cut down a 3 foot tall stump I had asked them to take care of as well. They honored angie's list coupon. I will only call them for my next tree issue.

The men did a great job. The schedule was a little off (scheduled for morning and came in afternoon). But it wasnt a real problem for me on that day but if you have a tight schedule (and you prefer to be there) you may want to be specific. One of the guys was not feeling well and they still did a great job and left everything very clean. They did the job in a very organized manner and were pretty efficient. They were also very polite.

We had Ping's and another company give us estimates for the work to be done. Ping's estimate came back about $50 less. They gave me a rough estimate as to when they would be out to do the work. We were in no hurry and did not need to be home for them. They actually came out a couple of days earlier than I expected! The work was done in a timely manner ( I came home as they were working) and the cleanup was great. You would not have known that any tree trimming was done. I was very impressed.

The experience was all right. Mr. Ping came out to give me the estimate, but he didn't come out to supervise or do the work. It would have been better if he was here to supervise because the crew cut off some branches they shouldn't have. Mr. Ping said it wasn't his fault, but I know it wasn't my fault either. He has 5 crews and he did send out another crew to try and correct the work. I had three estimates and his was the highest. I would use them again, but only if Mr. Ping came out to supervise the job.
