They did a great job, and cleaned the site up beyond what I expected. The fee they charged was about half the price of other quotes we recieved.

I think they are a great company and they came right out to give me an estimate. Ultimately I went with another company because the estimate was about $1,000 cheaper.

I like the person who came out and gave me the estimate. He explained some things to me because I don't usually get giant trees cut down. The people that came to do the job did the job faster than I thought. Everything ended up very well. I was very pleased with the service. The job was 600 dollars less than another estimate I got. They didn't leave any mess and did what they came to do.

They did an excellent job. Their price was reasonable and they did a good job cleaning up. I would use them again in the future.

The problem was a ten inch limb some 30' long broke off of a Maple tree and took out a third of our guttering across the back of the house. A second limb landed on the roof and punctured it. The tree did not have enough left to make it a viable shade producer so we decided to have it taken down. That left an adjacent tree with no protection from wind or ice and it looked dangerous to the house so we decided to have it taken out too. As usual, we received excellent service. The estimator came out the same day I called. I had their estimate the following day and reported it to my insurance company. It took them almost a week to approve the work, but when I notified Ping they responded immediately to schedule a date. My call was answered by Phil Ping and he remembered our land since they have done work for us for several years. The crew arrived as promised and cleared the downed limbs, took down two 24" diameter trees and completed the task in half a day. The man with the stump grinder came back the following day and took care of that part of the work. When we need tree work done I do not call anyone else.

This was a pretty technical removal because the tree was in the middle of our deck. They were very professional. They gave us the best price.

Their arborist was very thorough in describing what they were going to do. He was polite and punctual as well. We are having them back in the spring for a second treatment.

Estimator and workers were prompt, pleasant, and capable. Owner thought Bradford Pear should be cut back further from the house, since that was one of the main reasons for the work. Ping came back in about a week and trimmed the Pear again at no extra cost. This is an excellent company with competitive prices.

My experience with them has been wonderful. They are very patient about explaining everything, and answering all questions. I was very upset about the damage that was done to our Tulip tree and they were able to calm me down and develop a plan to save the tree. Any time I have had questions they have been very responsive and helpful.

From estimate to correspondence with office to completion of job, all was very well done.

They were excellent as fair as price and knowledge of trees. They did an excellent job and a good cleanup. They were willing to leave the wood, which we wanted for firewood for our fireplace. Their estimate was appreciatively less than two other companies that we got estimates from. The men did an excellent job of taking down the tree. It was leaning towards the house and the roots were giving way. I was very impressed with the way they took it down. The lead fellow was very knowledgeable about our trees and they did a good job of cleanup. They were professional. The lead fellow did the climbing of the tree. He knew as soon as he saw the situation how he was going to take it down so it wouldn't topple down.

They were prompt, put down protective boards to prevent making ruts with the big equipment and cleaned up all the debris before leaving.

We got a number of competitive bids from other tree services, Ping's was the lowest and most comprehensive quote we received. We wasted several days waiting for other contractors to view and quote our tree removal. We had some scheduling concerns with other work on the home and they were able to proptly schedule and complete the work to meet our needs. Their crew was polite and curteous they did a thourough and professional job. We are very pleased.

Beneath the large maple tree were several dogwoods, and an enclosed trampoline. Corey and crew removed the tree without harming any of the plants, trees, or structures beneath it. The work went very quickly. Next time, I will likely request a time and materials quote, rather than a fixed price.

I can't tell you how accomodating these folks were! They sent an arborist out the same day I called. Bob was very knowledgable and gave me some suggestions as to what I can do to help the tree in addition to the services that they provide. He also looked over the numerous other trees in our yard to determine which ones should come down. We already knew there were several that should be taken out but surprisingly, they Bob actually thought that a couple of them were ok. Their price was higher than I expected but after getting other estimates, I realized it is expensive to have trees removed. Bob did tell me that after Dec 1 and through the winter that prices are lower so I will likely wait a bit to have the work done. I was impressed with their responsiveness and knowledge and plan to use them in the future.

Process went just fine. They were very professional and did a good job.

It was a great exprience. I didn't even have to be there. My retired neighbor told me they were very professional and he even got a free estimate for one of his trees. I have had Ping's do work for me before and every time, they do an awesome job. They always leave the site spotless. Not one leaf to be found. A first class operation.

I had called earlier in the summer (I've used Ping's before), and asked if they'd be able to come out and provide an estimate for stump removal. There was a misunderstanding over the phone while setting up a time for them to come out, so when I called a second time to find out if they were actually coming, they asked me for an email confirmation. Once I gave them an email confirmation, they arrived a week later to provide an estimate. They were able to come out, remove the stumps, and then send me a bill. The work was done in a timely manner. Overall, I'm satisfied with their services.

Good experience. Reviewed Angies List and International Society of Arboriculture's websites to establish credentials and used as a preliminary evaluation tool. An arborist went to inspect to check on condition of a specified spruce tree, prepared estimate for tree removal and recommendations for other spruce tree due to drought conditions and future spraying costs. More than originally requested but much appreciated. I consider that proactive because it was something I would not have been aware of. I added conditions to the estimate to ensure that crew would not damage nearby roses and infrastructure. As a general comment, homeowners should review estimates and ask questions something is not spelled out including insurance so there are no surprises later. Comment is intended as a general comment for any contract work. Ping performed the 811 Utility One Call. This provided another benefit to a neighbor who did not know what the flags and markings were. Call before you dig! They called the day before to ask me if it was OK to cut the tree. Did the work neatly and clean-up was as agreed upon.

Jason first estimated the job on an hourly basis. When none of the other estimates were hourly, he graciously returned and gave a tree by tree estimate to allow us to choose.

We were very satisfied. They are very honorable. They have the best education about trees and are much better than other competitors.

Everyone was nice, helpful, and professional - from the guys who did the job to the woman I talked with in the office. The men who took the tree down worked hard and many hours to complete the job. They finished late in the day and I was told the stump grinder would come back the next day and he did!

In the process of building a garage, we found out we needed to have a gas line moved, but the proposed placement was within a foot of a 125-year-old Elm tree. We didn't know if digging that close would damage the tree, so we called Ping's and they sent out Mike, a certified arborist, the next day. He said his crew could use an air gun to blow a trench for the gas company, and even took the time to talk with our contractor and the people from Citizens Gas. The person who blew out the trench was punctual and let us know exactly what was going on. The dirt coated our trash cans and our neighbor's truck, but he cleaned them all off before he was done. During the initial consultation, Mike walked around our property with us and examined all of the trees (we moved in a few months ago). He recommended treating one tree for some worms and using a preventative solution on an ash tree. We opted to go ahead with both treatments. Mike didn't act like he was trying to sell us anything, and you could tell he really knew his stuff. I had another tree company out shortly after we bought to house to give us an assessment of the trees and he really didn't mention anything, other than to say that we mostly had "crap" trees. Obviously, that made us even more impressed with Mike's professionalism and attention to detail.
