Overall, it is great. Couldn't be better. They are very impressive.

My experience with Ping's tree service was excellent from start to finish! My first meeting with Bob was informative, he took the time to discuss/explain each tree's health issues in detail. He provided me with tips on how to implement ongoing care for my maple tree, and issues to be aware of involving the health of the shrubs in my flower beds. He is quite knowledgable and very helpful. I received the estimate promptly, and upon acceptance was able to clarify a general time frame in which the work was to be completed. Ping's came to innoculate the Maple tree within a week. I received a call within the specified time window telling me the exact day I could expect the remainder of the work to be completed. The tree work was completed as promised, and all clean up was great. I was kept informed all throughout the entire process - very professional company to work with and I plan to keep working with them as needed.

Arrived on time and completed job in a efficient and professional manner. All debris and branches removed and yard raked to insure everything was gone. Tree was removed in such a way a as to preserve a burning bush that had grown beside it. Would absolutely recommend this tree removal company and will also use them again if needed.

They did a great job and were careful on our driveway which was recently sealed. They were polite and professional. They cut down 3 dead branches from a 3rd tree which I couldn't reach, a quick fix at no extra charge.

Overall great. They were busy from recent storm, but got to us in about 4 days as promised...

I thought that they were expensive, but the job was well done. I got several estimates and only took one of them. I would recommend them to anybody.

They did a nice job. It took about 2 hours to take the tree down and probably another 2 hours to grind the stump. They seemed efficient and didn't drive any vehicles or equipment on the lawn. They didn't inform us how much mulch would be left behind after grinding the stump!!! (We had never had a large stump ground down before, so we had no idea that there would be a mountain of wood chips in our yard). We ended up putting the free mulch on Craig's List and didn't have too much trouble getting rid of it. FYI if you have stump grinding done ;-)

Their work is really pretty good. The office help that has an attitude and was not very helpful which has made it hard to work with, but the ones that have come to my house have typically been nice. I did have one guy come out and I mentioned that I thought they were going to call first; he responded by saying "I didn't even know I was coming today, how could I have called you?" I wish the office staff would have been more thorough, helpful, and friendly.

They were amazing. Their price was very reasonable. I was just impressed by how well they cleaned up after themselves. They took down three different trees. There was not a branch or a leaf left on the ground and I was really impressed. I would definitely recommend them. I would use their service in the future too.

A small wind storm went through on a Friday night and Saturday morning we found our large Bradford pear tree had split apart and a portion had fallen across our yard and over onto our neighbor's driveway. We needed an emergency tree removal and found Ping's to be highly rated on Angie's list and they would come out on an emergency basis to remove the tree. They put us on their list for removal that day and arrived about 1 pm to do the job. They were very efficient; they cut up and removed all of the tree very quickly. They have a price of $329 per hour with a two hour minimum for emergency removals which seemed rather high, but they came quickly and did an excellent job when we absolutely had to have it done. We would use them again for tree removal.

They were very professional. They had all the equipment needed to finish the job. They came well prepared and they worked like clockwork.

We were very happy with the job that they did and would recommend them to anyone.

Ping Tree Service was very busy with this storm, but they quickly got my property on the schedule. I live out of town and needed to coordinate long-distance with not only Ping, but my tenant. Ping was very responsive to both of us. When I did have a question due to me not being there to observe which tree should be further cut down (or left), Ping was very good about checking with the right people who were there to answer my questions. I have had other companies do tree work on the very-wooded property before and Ping's price was about what I expected.

Very prompt to respond to my email request for an estimate. Phil was professional and on time. As it turns out, my son's Boy Scout troop decided to take care of the tree as a service project. My neighbor is even going to let them use his burn pile for the branches so they can have a bonfire and weenie roast.

They were very professional, nice and clean. They were fine young men and very polite. They cleaned up well after themselves and the price was very fair.

They were very good on estimate and they were very friendly. We will use them again.

They were definitely knowledgeable. My first experience with them was with the owner. He was the first to come out. They were working on our block, and I was impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, and kindness. I decided to call him back for our service later.

Tree came down on our house in storm Saturday early morning. Owner called me right back and got a crew out asap. the team dispatched was great and the crew chief figured out exactly how to remove the tree without more damage in a very tight spot. the guys were just super, did a great job! have used them in the past for tree trimming and they have been very good and they came through for us in an emergency this time too!

When Jason came out for a quote, he answered all of our questions. They were busy, so it took a couple of weeks for them to get to the tree. They worked quickly, cleaned up the area of any debris. They left the stump ground mulch for us to use. Excellent work. Very reasonable price; we had comparison shopped. We have used them before and would definitely use them again.

Ping's did an excellent job at what I felt was an extremely reasonable price; estimator was prompt and provided proof of insurance with their estimate. Both my neighbor and I had large trees which we scheduled for removal at the same time; all trees would've caused significant damage to our houses had they been incorrectly felled. Ping's showed up with a large truck with hydraulic crane to which they tied each tree and, after cutting the tree at the base, simply lifted tree cleanly onto front yard and easement for further cutting and removal. The workers were very friendly and professional, and cleaned up all debris thoroughly. A separate stump-grinding crew arrived within 1-2 days and completed the job. I will definitely use Ping's for any future tree removal work in my yard!

This was an emergency on a holiday. They charged more but did a great job. I was so scared about this falling. They had to bring a bucket truck in to do this.

I called for an appt. They came quickly and gave me a quote on April 5. I called to set an appointment with them. They said it would be in the next two weeks, or sooner if I could approve a JDI (Just Do It) if they were in the area. I said yes. They never came. I sent emails twice more and phoned once more and was always told they would be there early the next week. They have never come.

They are just good and they were careful. They pretty much cleaned up and did a good job.

We first used Ping's Tree Service 20 years ago and we use them at least 3 times. 20 years ago when I first had them come and do an estimate for us in another house, I met both Phil and his wife; so I just assumed that they were very straightforward and trustworthy; so that’s number 1. Number 2, he himself was the one originally that said to always make sure that your workers are bonded and insured. He produced his paperwork and everything; so I appreciated that. That was before I even started using Angie’s List; of course Angie’s List is very good about pointing that out. The other thing is that when they do a job, they just really seem to bring the appropriate machinery and really do a very good and effective job. They are pleasant to work with and seem very honest and do the job. They do exactly what they say they are going to do.

I live on a one acre piece of land, and we had loads of huge trees that were totally overgrown and one gigantic tree that was too close to the house that needed to be cut down. It was an enormous job, and it took them a couple of days. They carried away everything after the work was done. I was pretty happy with the services they provided. They are a little pricey, but their work is so good that I would use them again in the future.
