Very well. Two of the pines were located in a very precarious place and they did a nice job safely removing them. I have used Ping's Tree Service before and and have always been impressed with the professionalism of the young men working for them as well as the job they do.

The estimator Mike Webster (Arborist) was very congenial and professional. He provided a very detailed proposal of the work to be done. The time lines agreed upon were all met and I was provided a days notice as requested. Terry, the foreman walked through the entire proposal with me before starting work and again after the job was complete. The workers were careful when working in the areas of the flower gardens, marked above ground sprinkler heads with cones, temporarily moved a gazing ball and some garden art out of harms way. Clean up was outstanding. All the persons I delt with were very pleasant and professional in manner.

They were punctual and they cleaned up really nice after themselves.

Overall, went very well. There were a few delays in completing the job due to adverse weather but the company kept me updated regarding when the work would be able to be completed. I was very pleased with the work they did and will continue to use their company for all of my tree care needs.

We had a Bradford Pear tree that was planted incorrectly by the builder. It started to cause problems by growing into the neighbor's yard and making it hard for us to use our driveway. We like trees, but this one was causing us problems so we decided it had to be cut down. I saw Ping's in the Angie's List mailing and decided to at least get an estimate. I have never had a tree cut down before so I was a little worried. I had heard horror stories from others about other tree services' work or trying to do it themselves. After careful consideration, we decided to contact Ping's and we are very glad we did! We contacted them by filling out their online estimate form. They e-mailed me the following day confirming receipt of the quote request and stated that someone would be stopping by to write a quote. Greg came by that very next day! He was very friendly. He listened closely as I explained to him the details of my request. He even provided me with proof of insurance and license right on the spot without even asking. In just a few minutes he had a quote ready for me. He even recommended what I could do for the other trees on my property. From that point on my communications were via e-mail, which simplified the process. The friendly staff followed up with me after his visit and provided me with directions on how to initate the work if I desired. They even told me I could specify a specific date for them to do the work or I could request that they do it as soon as they could work it into their schedule. I decided to have them come out when they had time. They said it would probably be two weeks out, but it actually happened before then! One day (about 10 days after I received the quote) the tree and stump were gone! I couldn't even tell (other than now there was a pile of mulch where the tree was that used to be the stump) that a major tree removal process had just taken place earlier that day. No tracks in the grass, no marks on the driveway, nothing! It was like they surgically removed the tree! They did a GREAT JOB! It is nice to know that there is a company like Ping's out there that does a great job even without you even being there. I will definately call them again for all my tree service needs!

Mr. Ping arrived on time and was very professional and knowledgable. He explained the treatment needed and the costs involved. A few days later the trees were treated. Hopefully, in the Spring we will see healthier trees and hopefully, the Ash Borer will not kill my two Ash trees. The price was higher than I hoped but two more trees were treated and I did not have to have any trees cut down and removed, so overall, I think the price was fair.

All work was done professionally including removal of some branches greater than 6-8 inches in diameter. No damage to property or shrubbery occurred and clean up was quick and efficient Asphalt drive was adequately protected with pads so no damage resulted from bucket truck out-riggers Crew was courteous and worked diligently. All work completed on schedule and as promised.

We contacted Ping's to have treatments for scale on our maples, scab on our crabapples, and preventative treatments on our ash trees for emerald ash borer. We received a quick response . We approved the estimates. They made multiple trips out in order to treat each problem at the precise times required for optimum effectiveness . We were delighted at the improvement in our crabs that had looked pretty ratty in the last part of the summer and into fall every year. The maples look great again. They treated our arborvitae that had been ravaged by spider mites. Ping's thinned our crabapples to help them be healthier going forward, raised the canopy and pruned them back a bit (as the trees had become quite unruly.) They did a wonderful job. The crabs look neat yet natural. Root pruning was done on one crab due to girdling roots. Everyone I have dealt with from Ping's has been very pleasant and professional. This includes office staff, technicians and arborists. All express gratitude for our business. I am very impressed with their arborists. They are so very knowledgable, helpful and patient ( with my myriad of questions). They even gave me excellent advice on ways that I can help my trees myself. We will have them do yearly treatments on the crabs, hawthorn and maples. We feel our trees are in great hands.

They were very timely when I first called - by the next day the arborist came out to evaluate the trees in question and give us an estimate on removal/condition. He was able to give me multiple estimates that day on the spot, for cutting up the trees into manageable pieces, removing brush, removing stumps, etc., as I wasn't sure exactly how much we wanted them to do. After receiving the estimate, I called to confirm and was told scheduling would be about 2 weeks out. After waiting a month to hear back, I called and we were placed on the schedule. In the future, I'd just call to verify the dates again instead of waiting to hear back. The service was done as asked just as we wanted, with virtually no damage to our yard based on the size of the tree and proximity to the house. The stump grinding was done a few days later, and again left the area as neat as could be expected. We were charged for the second stump grinding (which we did not have done) but after an easy conversation with Ping's, that charge was removed. Minus the few communication issues, overall we were very happy.

The Ping crews were extremely professional and did a wonderful job. I cannot be any happier about their work. Both the crew who cut down the tree and the crew who removed the cut pieces did a very good job including fully cleaning up the debris. I will very strongly recommend Ping for any tree service.

They completed the job in half a day and left the yard cleaner than when they started.

Yard walk-through was very helpful. Robert (Arborist) gave many suggestions and offered a list of services with no pressure. Estimate was sent in a timely fashion via email. Price was very reasonable compared to another estimate I rec'd to do similar work. I signed quote and asked for call on quote upon receipt with which they complied. We set up a date for the work. Unfortunately my property is very wet on a good day and since it had snowed, then rained the days just before this appointment date, I asked to postpone the work. However, they called again within 10 days (we had agreed that I could wait until they were in the area) and rescheduled. Work was done to day. Both teams (tree cutters and stump grinders) were very professional and sensitive to not damaging the yard with their heavy equipment. They also offered advice about how to get rid of potential "starts" from the tree they cut down and removed. A+ for all. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!!

Everything went fine and I am very happy with them.

They did quite a bit. I paid $1030 one time and then paid some more which was around $320. My overall experience with them was absolutely great. Their price was very good and the quality was good. Their responsiveness was good. I would probably use them again in the future.

I spent $600 on their services. The experience with them was good. There was nothing about them that really stood out to me. The guys were very helpful. They were on time and responsive as well. They were professional. They were referred to me by a friend. I will use their services again in the future.

They were very nice and they did a nice job. Their responsiveness was right on top. I had no complaints with them.

The original appointment on Wednesday. They did not show due to their receptionist's mistake. They did compensate $50 cut to me Friday and did a great job. I don' know about using again.

The crew did a very good job. The price was very reasonable. It was a fairly big job. They were very good. They had a nice gentleman come out to give the estimate. He was very honest about the trees and what they wanted to do and could do. He didn't suggest doing too much; he was conservative. The crew was very nice and cleaned up very well. It was a good experience and we would recommend them to anybody.

The arborist from Ping's Tree Service Inc may be having a bad day or his blood sugar must have been down. But he was very knowledgeable and was very helpful. I probably may use him as an arborist again but I will not use the tree service. It seemed very overpriced. They had lot of equipments and seem to be a big production. I don’t think removing trees need a big production but that his need and I might regret it. I just used the arborist. I had the arborist come out and tell me which tree was worth saving and which trees were not. This company seem to know what they were doing. I think they are professional in what they were doing. I found they had high recommendation in Angies List and that is why I contacted them. Tree trimming seem to be a catch off for a lot of hooligans and scam artists and always has been for 50 years. People, who could not do anything else, trim trees. I had butchered trees thanks to my neighbour on my lawn because this guy came highly recommended and I have not used them after that as far as removing trees. I was to call another tree trimming company and I found them 65% cheaper and it sounds like that this job does not need a fleet of trucks to take a tree down. That might be my style. With the quote there was an arborist, a tree doctor who came out and told me what was what and what tree worth saving. He did a good job. I did not know what was what and my tree was so big that I could not honestly tell at the top if it had to be trimmed or not. It was like a little forest. He gave real good information and I will use him again. The recommendations that he had for some of the trees that had health issues I would not do because I don’t want pesticides. I love the birds and so I am looking for organic ways. I am just not going pesticides with my dog. Pesticides are mortal it is like radioactivity and it does not go away. It destroys everything. They were timely, they were professional. I don’t have to have someone hold my hand. He did a good job. I will use them in the future.

Not a very good experience. First, I authorized Ping's to perform the work on Friday, September 23rd. After hearing nothing from Ping, I called them to inquire. The woman I spoke to never explained what had happened, but it appeared that they lost my work order. Figuring that this could happen, I waited to see if they would handle the job. The next thing I knew someone was walking in my fenced in backyard to treat the Ash tree. I have dogs and would have expected them to ring the doorbell first. In any event, the service for the Ash tree was performed on 10/7, two weeks after I authorized the work. Still now word about cutting down and removing the pine tree, though. Once again, I had to call Ping's to inquire as to when the tree would be cut down. The lines were marked early in the week of 10/3. No word from Ping. Finally I called and spoke to a woman who said she would check and let me know. Finally, the tree got cut down on October 17th, almost one month after I authorized the work. Now my wife received the invoice for the work and their was an extra line item added which was not explained. When we called, we were told that this was a 'fuel surcharge'. I was told it was on my estimate, but I had two different copies from Ping where it clearly was not on the estimate. Ping agreed to remove that charge.

They’ve trimmed my trees a couple of times. They did an adequate job. They were pretty professional. The people who came out were polite. Their price is average. I would call them first in the future if need be.

They did a greaat job on the Tree of Heaven, but there were some problems initially on the Silver Maple. I did have to call them back out, and once they came back out to fix it, they did a great job. For my inconvenience, they trimmed some dead limbs off of another one of my other trees to make up for the earlier mistake. In the end, I was satisfied with their work.

Exactly three weeks to the day, Tim Ping called at noon on 9/28/2011 and stated that they had just completed a job a few blocks away and wanted to start our job next since they had the equipment that was needed for our job. I was delighted and agreed that they could start the job as soon as possible. Their crew was professional, courteous, skilled, and informative. Most of the work detailed above was performed before dusk, and they cleaned up the driveway to allow us clear passage. They returned the next day and completed the job and the rest of the cleanup. A day or so later they ground the stumps of both of the trees that were removed and cleaned up the yard and driveway again. I could not be happier and feel more secure in knowing that our trees were cared for by professionals and the trees that were removed absolutely had to be removed because they posed a threat to our house or our neighbor's house.

They did a good job. They were quick and cleaned up well afterwards.
