The injection and spray services were performed promptly. We did not settle on a fixed schedule, but since they didn't need access to the interior of our home and didn't need anyone around when the these services were rendered, they simply left a card on the doorknob and mailed an invoice afterward. After the initial injection of the tree, the box elder bugs died off. Since there wasn't a resurgence, I don't really know how necessary the followup spray was. Was a small bit of confusion around the trimming services in that I had asked for a 24-hour notice so that I could inform my neighbor, whose driveway was to be used by their bucket truck. I was called by Ping on the day that they had planned to come and do the trimming, and I asked if it could be deferred so that I could communicate with my neighbor. The person on the phone agreed, but the trimming crew arrived on the day of the call anyway. Fortunately, my neighbor was not home and no one was inconvenienced. The trimming work itself was well done.

Ping's crew was outstanding. It's amazing what they can do Very fast, polite and did a wonderful job.The clean-up was absolutely top notch. Penny, in the office went above and beyond. I would hire them again in a New York minute. Will recommend them to everyone I know. I also thought the price was very fair for all the work that was done.

. Overall, both experiences we had with Ping's Tree Service were above and beyond our expectations. I would use them again and tell anyone and everyone how great they are. The trees we had removed were very tall and difficult but they took their time and did not drop anything and were very confident in their work. I would never use anybody else for tree trimming or stump grinding. Ping's should be at the top of anyone's list needing this kind of work. They are great.

A friend had used this company and were pleased with their work, so when I saw them on Angie's List I contacted them for an estimate. The company gave us a competitive estimate for tree removal. We communicated via email which worked out great. The company was very honest in telling me they were extremely busy and if it was ok, they would complete the work asap. We only had to wait a couple of weeks but they completed the job and everything was done rapidly and neatly. We were very pleased with their work and would definitely use them again.

The work turned out fine. They did exactly what they said they were going to do, and did a great job.

We got four estimates from Angie's List providers for trimming our trees. I was rather concerned about who we were going to have to do it because I've seen trees that have been chopped back to the trunk and might as well have been cut down- I wanted this work done by someone who knew what they were doing. I selected Ping's because they had done other work for us (Emerald Ash Borer treatment) and they had done a great deal of work in our area of Fishers with positive comments. Their quote was neither the lowest nor the highest. The scheduled appointment was about two weeks from the date I informed them they were selected. In the intervening time, our Ash tree lost most of its leaves in a hard rain. I got concerned that they might not be able to tell where the deadwood was without any leaves on the other branches so I let them know of this situation. They called one day within a week to see if we could have them out the following day, but we couldn't do it. (Pete Ping threw out the idea that we didn't need to be there when they did it, but for a variety of reasons I wanted to be- he seemed to understand.) They called me two days before they had me on the schedule to see if the date would work; it did. They arrived a little earlier than expected, which was fine, and the guy leading the project was nice. We talked about what I wanted to see happen and I asked for his input, which he gave. He explained how he would tell what limbs were deadwood near the top and which ones weren't by the brittleness of the branches (they brought their cherry picker)- his explanation satisfied me. They worked quickly and efficiently. It took about an hour to trim the three trees. I was really pleased with how the Ash turned out- it had grown greatly out of symmetry over the years and he cut it back so it was much better balanced in all directions. It appeared he cut the deadwood out, as well. He said if there was some deadwood left when the leaves came out in the spring, he was sure they could work out an arrangement to come back and take care of it. They cleaned up the mess nicely. Tree work isn't cheap, but we were well-satisfied with this work done by Ping's.

Everything went well. The estimate was prompt and listened well. The only problem was when they were grounding out the stump there was a lot of saw dust left on the yard. I called the supervisor and they did come back and clean it up. All of the work was done great.

They came, they saw, they went to work and it was done in less than 2 hours. They cleaned up the yard. My neighbors wanted the wood so they didn't have to pick it up. They have not ground out the stump yet. I may have to call them. They were very professional; knew what they were doing and did it well.

I chose Ping's because they are rated VERY well on Angie's List, by far the most ratings than any other company. Also, I have seen there equipment driving around town, it's not amateur stuff. I have had Ping's out to my house twice in the past few months. 1st time was to remove a Austrian pine tree, trim three white birch trees, and a crab apple tree. When I called, I could tell I was going to be happy because Melissa Ping answered the phone and was very helpful, she sent a certified arborist to the house (Mike Wallace) and within 48 hours I had a PDF quote emailed to me, which included quotes for what I asked for and also their recommendations. I chose to go with Mike's recommendations as he is the skilled professional in that field and I am not.. So far, so good! I signed the work order, scanned it and emailed it back to Melissa. She advised me that three weeks was the time frame and if I chose, I could to "at there earliest convenience " to have it done sooner, which I selected... Three weeks go by and no calls or no emails. I call them, they transfer me to "Pete" the operations manager. No call back..., I call again, no call back... I end up emailing Melissa as she seems to be all over customer satisfaction, she gets it taken care of. They come out and to a fantastic job, I couldn't;t be happier with their expertise and precision. Then I notice there there is huge pile of wood in the back yard (the Austrian Pine tree). I call and they tell me that it's going to be another crew that picks it up. OK, no problem, that's 100% with me. Well, they never come. I call Pete, leave a message, no call back, call again, leave a message, no call back. I email Melissa, she gets it taken care of again. So now comes my 2nd round of tree trimming, I call to get my ginkos trimmed (as summer is to hot for them to be cut) and also have a cherry tree removed. This time they come out exactly as we had planned. Again, do a fabulous job, as they did before--- but again, didn't remove the wood. I am not talking about a few logs here, this is a HUGE cherry tree. A week goes by, still no removal, I end up calling Pete....leave a message, no returned call... Email Melissa and now they are set to come get it. I hate to dislike this company because so many of them seem to be awesome people, Melissa, Mike, the crews, but I am 100% dissatisfied with Pete the operations manager, screw up after screw up after screw up. FYI, I was offered 10% off my next tree timings, and I will most likely give them another shot in the future. Just needed to tell the story.

They had to use a crane and was very difficult job. They did a wonderful job. They also cleaned up very well after themselves.

Very professional & efficient. They arrived on time. Layed down plywood tracks to run their heavy equipment on pricing $1.75 more than other bio super pleased.

When we viewed the estimate we noted one tree had not been included. An earlier reviewer said to look at the estimates thoroughly. We communicated mostly via email. A week after I returned the authorization for the work, I had not hear from them. I wondered when the work would be scheduled. Knowing their work is dependent on weather, they could not be exact, I just wanted an estimate. I called twice before I spoke with someone. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional.

A tree fell on our house, and they got out there as quickly as possible on an early Saturday morning to get it off before it could crash into our couch and our living room. So I was happy with their speed. With regard to price, I had nothing to compare it to.

We've had excellent service from this company. A different company removed a fallen Bradford Pear tree but left many superficial roots which were the source of multiple "suckers". Then another pear tree fell during a recent storm. Ping came promptly and gave an estimate for removing the fallen tree, taking care of the remaining roots and trimming out the last pear tree to decrease the possibility of it falling also. They were good in communicating by email. The estimate was detailed and accurate. The clean-up was excellent. They have an arborist who is truly passionate about trees and their proper care!

Excellent , will continue using them in the future.

They said that we needed to agree to the amount of work and price before starting. I noticed that they didn’t offer the discount so I inquired about this and they said that they would give me 5% off but would have to charge a 2% surcharge. I found this to be very misleading. It indicates that there is a fuel surcharge, but they didn’t mention this and the estimate doesn’t indicate specifically what the surcharge will be. We have hired them in the past and we might still hire them, but their prices have almost doubled in the past 4 years. If they would have mentioned this upfront, I may be less apprehensive to hire them again.

They were 2 hours late for the job and didn't finish until after 10pm. But they did a excellent job, clean up thoroughly and were very polite and professional

Trees were done in one afternoon - they were very good at not causing any damage to houses Other work was done on subsequent days They put down plywood to minimize yard damage from large equipment They did everything that was on the list They crews were friendly and explained what was going to happen and what would be next They cleaned up, and even raked debris We are very happy, it was a major effort and our property is greatly improved

7-9-2012 Estimate 7-11-2012 Cut the trees down. They had a reasonable price. The guy who came out to do the estimate was unsure if they would be able to come out this up coming week. He explained that he would give the severity of the tree to his scheduler. Two days later, while gone on an errand, they came out and took the trees down. There were left over limbs on the ground. They came back the next week to pick up the extra wood as well as grinded out the stumps. Happy with the work and took the worry away.

The crew arrived promptly. Very quickly downed the tree, removed the debris and stacked the remaining wood. A hand rake and blower were used to clean up any remains on the lawn. If you blinked, you may have missed the whole process. Thank you for the professionalism.

Sales representative came to look at the job. He explained the signs of Emeral Ash Borer and the symptoms, outlook, details of the problem tree and a professional recommendation on work that needed to be performed. Ping's Tree Service came in with the best estimate and they also offered an Angie's List Coupon. Workers came out and did the job. The job could not be completed in one day, but they returned the next business day to complete the removal and then returned for the stump grinding.

I had Ping's come out and grind out a redbud tree stump after I had cut down the tree. Ping's staff was very friendly and helpful when I talked to them, and it was very easy to send in my work request via their website. The job was immediately set up They said they would come by during the day and grind it out when they were in my area. Within a week it was all done and they mailed me the invoice. They did a wonderful job and I was all ready to seed the area after their work. Getting this done was quick and easy and at a good price, and I'd highly recommend Ping's to anybody for any service they offer.

My phone call was answered promptly and efficiently. I was told an arborist would see the trees in 1-2 business days.Evidently he came on the second business day. I received an e-mail from him that night, stating the report would arrive the next day.Actually, it didn't arrive until a day later than he said. The report was very complete and informative. He also recommendeda course of action. I will not follow up on his recommendations as I only wanted an opinion. I plan to have any work done by my regular tree service, another Angie's List regular, All Points Tree Service.
