3 crews were involved over 2 days - lumberjack crew, log removal crew and the stump grinder. All 3 were very professional in their job. They were informative and did not hesitate to answer questions. The back yard and the driveway in front were clean beyond expectations. I will not hesitate to use them again and I will recommend them to everyone need tree work performed.

The service turned out very well. They were very prompt and friendly. The technicians did a really good job. Scheduling was fine. They were booked out a little but it was not an issue for me.

The service was excellent from the first point of contact to the actual coordinators. Everyone was wonderful, polite, courteous, and knowledgeable.

They contacted me the next day after I asked for an estimate via the webpage. Their representative was knowledgeable and professional. They did the work within 2 weeks of the day iI accepted the estimate. All trees were removed in one day and the stumps were removed the next day. They cleaned up all the limbs and twigs and removed all the logs. Stumps were removed professionally with special attention not to harm the roots of surrounding trees. Trees were large and very tall. They removed one large tree which hung over the neighbor's house. The quote was very reasonable. They removed a group of three tress for the price I had paid to have just one smaller tree removed 4 years ago by another company . I am very pleased with the service and quality of work. I would use them again.

I have used this company for about 10 years. They are reliable, good at what they do and they gave me the best price the first time I used them. They are very professional.

They were overall good. The service itself was great. I don't have anything nice to say about the way it was handled. There were some issues with the booking. The gentleman, I guess Mr. Ping, was not very professional. The guys who did the work did a great job. It was the owner who answered the phone whom I had some issues with which he did send me an apology e-mail. I asked him to come in and find the paperwork because I wanted to review it with him and he said why can't we electronically do all those because he didn't have time for that. The problem was the staff was in on a Saturday and he was having to deal with and he just didn't feel like doing it. I said fine and I hung up. He sent me an apology e-mail and called me back and he came down to talk. They were the best that way.

It went very well. They provided a free estimate and gave recommendations on what needed to be done. They did the work quickly and cleaned up after themselves.

Ping made a very detailed estimate for their recommended services via email. I selected what services I wanted and a date and time was scheduled. They were able to call early since they were in the area and available to do the work. Two trucks and five men arrived and did a very good job. They are the most professional tree service you'll ever hire. From the first contact to the complete cleanup, they were first class. Will use again and recommend.

Mr. Ping came out, he is a good listener and in listening to him speak I can tell he knows what he is doing.

Ping's was quick to respond to our call and the service was performed even sooner than we expected. They did a great job of taking out the tree and grinding the stump. Everything went smoothly and the job was finished within a couple of hours. All the employees were friendly, polite and professional. We will definitely use them again.

Last January a large tree fell onto our house during a nighttime snowstorm, damaging our roof. I called Ping's the next morning and they sent a crew the same day to remove the tree, which involved the use of one crane to hoist workers over the roof to cut the branches off and another to move the tree off the roof and onto the ground. They cut the trunk into segments and stacked them, saying they would return in 1 or 2 weeks to haul them away?which they did. The crew members were very professional. The office staff were very pleasant extremely helpful, providing recommendations for roofing contractors we could call for a temporary fix for the roof until the weather improved. I really appreciated their responsiveness and professionalism and would call them again in a heartbeat.

The estimator/arborist was prompt and professional. This work was done during the winter just before Christmas even in the snow and ice. The crews were all very thorough and did the work without any issues. 1 evergreen and 1 large maple removed, maple stump ground. Sweet gum trimmed. All branches and larger trunk pieces removed. 2 work crews on different days.

Ever since the first time we used them we just call them every year. These are the very best and they are the only one that I will have out here to do the tree work now. We have been using them for 3 to 5 years. The one thing I like about them is that this is the first tree company that I have ever used that does this. They will not give you a bill until they are totally 100 percent done, cleaned up and gone, then they call you. That is usual because most tree companies, a lot of them are here today, gone tomorrow, they want half the money upfront, they want to be paid before they start, but Ping’s is not that way. They are top notch. I will not allow anybody into my property to touch any of these trees unless it is Ping. I have had them out for less than a $1000, then I have had them out for around $6000 or it might be only $300 to $400. It really depends on the job. They came out cut down 2 big trees, ground up the stumps for $ 500. My wife got some bids from some other companies and it was like $2200. They are like the cheapest and they are the best. They are just fabulous. I swear by them. Tree services are really tricky because it is over 30 years since we moved here and they are the only ones and I have had probably dozens of different tree service people come out. Our property is only for trees and they are the only service that I ever in my life had out here where they don’t even want your money. I cannot think of anything that is not perfect with them, the personality, the people, the price, the work and I cannot say enough good things about them.

They are very professional. They come with their uniforms on. They give you a printout of what they are going to do. Their service is wonderful and they are very nice and polite. We have no problems whatsoever.

They were outstanding. Clean-up was excellent. Communications were excellent. Respect for traffic control for my street. There wasn't anything that wasn't excellent.

I liked that they were able to do the work, it was a difficult job, and I liked the way the tree looks now. The way they cabled it makes sure that a limb won't fall on our house, it is right next to our bedroom. They were knowledgeable, they were on time, their crew worked very quickly, it was just about 3 hours of work. They came in, did their work, cleaned up, and were done in about 4 hours.

I called for an estimate and Gordon came out the next business day and left me an estimate. I submitted by email a formal acceptance to: "take down uprooted blue spruce tree, remove unwanted brush and wood." I emphasize that the tree was uprooted. Ping's Tree Service came out, but instead of taking down the uprooted tree as stated in the agreement, Ping's cut the tree off and, effectively, re-rooted the tree. This created a new problem, instead of resolving the issue of an uprooted tree from a storm. I sent them a complaint with photos by email showing same. Instead of taking the unwanted brush and wood, as specified in the agreement, they left a substantial portion incomplete. Look at the picture and see that while uprooted, it would have been easy to cut the roots and remove the tree. Ping's cut the tree at a point where it would have been near the ground had it not been uprooted, and allowed the roots to pull partially back into the ground, leaving me with a new problem to remove. I fully expected them to cut the roots that were above ground and remove the entire uprooted tree as stated in our agreement. I gave faith in them as a prior customer. That was my mistake. Their operations manager by telephone told me that Ping?s Tree Service wanted to create a second job of this, and charge me to remove the uprooted portion of the tree that Ping?s Tree placed back into the ground! I can no longer access the roots clearly to cut them and removing the problem is now a more difficult task. It would have been simple as shown in the pictures to cut the roots above the ground. Ping's Tree Service did not respond to my written letter of complaint to the CEO. I was told the CEO would respond. They intentionally deceived me by trying to imply a second job was there. The photos clearly show the tree was uprooted and they did not complete the agreement. At time of proposal, there was no stump to remove, the uprooted tree removal was the job agreed upon. Instead, Ping's cut out and created a stump that they themselves (photos reflect) returned to the ground and wanted to claim was an additional job. Ping's behavior was unprofessional and unbusinesslike. I have also filed a BBB complaint #10012825 for breach of contract. Ping's refused to uphold the terms of the contract as stated. Instead they try to now create a second job that NEVER existed. There was no stump until they created one. The entire tree, as shown in photos was out of the ground. Their executive refused to return written correspondence. Their conduct is reprehensible.

I requested the crew make a return visit, being dissatisfied that one tree had been inadequately thinned, which was promptly done. Explanations were given for the crew leader's decisions. I give them "B" on quality and professionalism because I had to request additional clean-up on the initial workday and then the follow-up work. They protected our yard from the heavy equipment and neatly cut and stacked the requested limbs. Response to all communications was prompt; they sent digital contracts and insurance information. Also, I felt the crew leader was given more clout than the arborist because I was not allowed by the office to get past him to the arborist with my questions on the competency of the finished project. I was reluctant to require a third return visit, but will observe the trees in the spring for final judgement. Any future work will require more detailed descriptions of planned action. They also arrived unannounced and impatiently woke our neighbors when I didn't get to the door immediately.

We found everyone we dealt with a Ping to be very professional, competent, and friendly. They meticulously took down the three large trees, causing no damage to surrounding foliage. They pruned two other large trees and pruned at least six others. They cleaned up all debris left from their work, and at my request, left me three large piles of mulch. We couldn't have been more pleased with their service. We had used other tree services in the past, but we have never experienced the professionalism of Ping. When we asked for an estimate, they gave us a very detailed one, and we had the option of approving each one of the items on the list. For example, they had listed spraying the stumps of some of the small trees that they cut down, but the supervisor that day explained that the solution was toxic to dogs. Since we have two dogs, we appreciated his explanation and asked them not to spray those trees. We were not charged for that service, even though it had been on estimate we had approved. Also, on first day they were here, we decided that we needed them to cut down one other fairly large tree. The supervisor gave us an estimate, and we approved it on the spot. I was impressed that each time they came to work on our large projects (taking at least four days), there was an expert supervisor who could make instant decisions. I would definitely recommend Ping to anyone wishing to have professionals do a tree trimming/cutting job from start to finish. Every single member of the crew was well-trained, professional, and congenial; the office staff was friendly and helpful; the finished job was perfect. Our experience with Ping was extremely satisfying. We, along with our two daughters who had work done at the same time, will continue to hire them for any tree work we need in the future.

I love them. They were very professional. They were very responsive as far as leaving me the bill. I would have them do tree work rather than anybody else because they are very professional. They use equipment that doesn't tear up your yard and clean up before they leave. They were super punctual.

They did an excellent job, arriving promptly and did everything we wanted. We asked for the trunks of the birch trees to be cut in 3 foot sections and they did that with no problem. The workers were polite and courteous. Also they did an excellent job with clean up, oeven though there was still snow on the ground. Would definitely use them again.

We had set up an appointment for Ping's to come out in Jan. months in advance. Because of the cold & snow & emergency needs by other homeowners, we were delayed 3 or 4 times. Ping's was always professional & courteous & kept in contact as to when they thought they could come out. When the weather finally cooperated they came out & took care of everything. Also, after quoting my husband a fair price, we decided @ the last minute to have them cut down an additional tree they said was dying & would need to be cut down within a year. They came back later to grind the stump. Great company to work with!

I have been happy with them in the past for what they have done.

They were good. They cleaned up the mess when they took down the trees. I had a pretty big tree and it came down. They were very efficient. They were a little late because the storm had a lot of trees down and they couldn't come right away. They will be coming back.

Ping's came out to give me an estimate ASAP - working around terrible inclement weather - and the fact that if this tree experienced weight from more snow the ice it would fall over and perhaps damage a utility box located within close proximity! They were finally able to come out on a Saturday afternoon to down the tree, saw the branches and clean the area. It wasn't until the following Sat. - again because of weather - that they were able to grind the stump and remove the remainder of the diseased trunk pieces. Considering the fact they had to work around weather conditions, Ping's did a great job and we will use them again.
