Description of Work: To begin with a large fallen limb was cut up and removed. A few days later a crew cam back and did an extensive trimming of 2 large Oak trees including removal of dead wood and clean up.

Description of Work: Overall good experience. They executed the trimming as discussed and our trees look great! My only slight complaint was that I was told it would be 2-3 weeks before service; was actually 5 and I had to place a follow up call.

Description of Work: Pings gave a fast estimate, came on the day they said they would. The staff were very friendly and professional. Ours was a difficult tree to remove as it was enclosed in a fence with a barn close by. They took this 35 foot oak down limb by limb! They did not hurt a thing in our yard. They cleaned everything up better than before they got here! I would highly recommend Pings to anyone! They also came the following day as promised to remove the stump.

Description of Work: They were called to trim trees and brush we had around our home. When I called, they came out for the estimate within a reasonable amount of time. The trees/shrubs were marked for when the work crew came, they would see what they were to work on and I was told we would receive the emailed estimate. I told them I was an Angie's List member and would like to use the discount. The email came without the discount applied so I emailed back the amount I was approving with the discount taken out and was told we'd be put on the books for work. Three to 4 weeks went by, no word from them. I had to contact them to see when they were coming and was told "most people say come when you can". Yes, that was fine since I was told 2 weeks but to hear nothing for approx. 1 month, that is not acceptable and we had other work that was going on around our home and the tree work needed to be done first. The crew did come and they were very nice however they didn't complete all the work. I received the invoice and called to complain saying I didn't want to pay it b/c all the work was not done. The billing folks are slightly rude, I left a message and never heard from them. Once they realized they were not paid, sure enough, they called for their money. I was offered a discount but wasn't happy because I didn't want to pay for work that wasn't complete. In the end, I didn't pay for the work that wasn't complete and paid the bill however I would not recommend them to friends or neighbors due to their lack of communication (except when they could perhaps get business and when they wanted their bills to be paid) and some of the office help is not very friendly.

Description of Work: Ping's removed a tree from the middle of our patio. They were professional and prompt. However, they did leave a huge pile of mulch from the tree. They may have told me this in passing, but I really was surprised. They did remove the tree with no problems, which is what was important. Their price was fair.

Description of Work: I was greeted and scheduled immediately. Every employee was excellent, professional and prompt. The trees survived, and Pings made attempts to reconcile, but once they made the initial mistake, getting a follow-up call to resolve their mistakes took weeks. We decided on along-term fix, but they then failed to follow up with that agreement. After many more calls, they did complete with high professionalism and excellent service. I would use them again, but only post this to ensure that others trust they will follow through, they assured me, and certainly based on others reviews, that this was an isolated incident. The grade of b is because it was a trial just getting reconciliation, again, great people, excellent work when completed... And would recommend and use again.

Description of Work: Ping's tree service trimmed limbs from 7 trees. Their work was very timely and professional. Their cleanup was very good. The pricing was very competitive. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Description of Work: I had a huge beech tree in my back yard and the top came off in a wind storm that came through. Ping['s extimate was considerably less than the other estimate I obtained. The insurance adjuster said that Ping's estimate was what he would have expected, however, as I said, the other company was much higher. They came with a crew of 5 the first day and removed all the limbs, took down the trunk (approx 25' high and probably 4' in diameter), and sliced the trunk into pieces. They came back the following Tuesday and removed all the pieces of the trunk while I was gone on errands. I was very pleased with their work and their price.

Description of Work: I called on Friday to have someone come out to inspect an ash tree in my yard. Mike Webster came out Monday and provided a comprehensive report that same day. He gave me options and explained them both in detail. He was kind enough to call me and answer my questions. We don't yet know what we'll do with the tree, but Mike's input has been invaluable. I appreciate the prompt and thorough work by Mike and Ping and will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: They did a fantastic job removing four quite large and dangerously placed trees. They were even at our house past 8 pm finishing up.

Description of Work: Other than spending this amount of money, it was a pleasant experience. Terry, the foreman, introduced himself and walked me through what he proposed to do to my 8 trees. When he was closed to being finished, he asked me to review his progress. And finally, at work's end...he asked me to review and determine all was done to my satisfaction. Which it was! And everything was clean when they left. AAAA+ experience.

Description of Work: Ping, cut a small dying Maple Tree. They also trimmed back some large over hanging branches over my house and my neighbors. They performed the job carefully with no damage to either my house or my neighbors. Cleaned up the whole area.
