Description of Work: Before we moved into our new home, we had Sani-Bright came in to clean the carpets. Our house is about 5300 sqft, 1/4 of it is hardwood. Before the cleaning, we received a quote ～ $750 for carpet cleaning only. They also told me that they would send someone who knew how to clean both carpet and hardwood floors, and that person would give me a quote on hardwood floor cleaning when he got here. On the day of the cleaning, the person they sent knew nothing about hardwood flooring cleaning. Then he used blacklight to show pet urine stains everywhere in our house. He suggested using certain cleaning solvent to clean up those urine which would cost extra $490. We felt we had no choice, so we did. Who wants to live in a house full of urine stain? When he finished, I asked if he could use backlights to see if those stains were still there, he said the stains would always be there, even after you cleaned the carpet. I wish Sani-Bright would tell us about the pet urine cleaning beforehand. We had other company cleaned our carpet in our old home before, that company had cleaned all carpets and never charged us extra for pet urine stains. Thus we did not expect Sani-Bright would charge extra for that. Also, after carpet was dry and we moved into, in our master bedroom, there were two black spots on the carpets. My husband said there were there before the carpet cleaning. And they are still there after. Do not think they did a good job, do think they charged way too much for the carpet cleaning.

Thank you for the feedback! It is our goal to achieve the best results possible as well as take care of our clients cleaning needs. When a home is purchased, it is common for the buyer to not fully be aware of all services needed due to limited home history. There were no changes to the existing work order discussed over the phone. Our company was also able to extend a healthy discount to our client since the home was very large. We provided an estimate over the phone and shared with the client that certain unknown factors such as pet stains/odors, or miscellaneous stain treatment are additional and would affect the total. As noted in the confirmation email sent to the client as well as disclosed in the work order (signed by the client); extensive pet treatment is additional and has to be evaluated by our technician while onsite. Our technicians always ask our clients if they would like a courtesy pet stain/odor check. After the evaluation of the stains, our technician shares their recommendation for treatment. We allow our clients to decide how they would like our technician to proceed. The client chose to treat the pre-existing stains. Our technicians strive to deliver positive results as well as setting expectations accordingly. Unfortunately, during our follow up calls, no concerns were shared with our office from the client. Our company has a 10 day spot/odor warranty and would have been happy to return and address any lingering concerns. However, it can be difficult to reach a resolution without the proper notification and communication. We do wish we would have been made aware of these concerns.

Description of Work: They came once to take a large piece of carpet in to be cleaned, but couldn't get it up from our downstairs area. Came back the following week and cleaned it on-site. Turned out better than we anticipated. The carpet had water stains from water in the downstairs area and many spots. Looks great! Thank you card from owners was a nice touch.
