I felt like the estimate went pretty well. They were responsive and punctual. They were fairly professional.

We decided not to go with him. The estimate was just jotted down and it didn't seem very thorough. He was not as professional as the company we chose to go with. The other company had more experience and was a little more specified. However, he was pleasant and his quote was reasonable. He was very responsive.

Rod met with me at our house to go over the different options available to us. I was glad he told us about the exposed agg because we were just going to replace the patio with new concrete but the agg looks awesome - and was only a few hundred dollars more. His crew was going to start on a Monday but wasn't able to come out until later in the week. They graded the back of the driveway and trenched out 2 areas to put our gutter pipes. Unfortunately one was smashed and another company that came out who is doing our asphalt driveway said that Rod should have used a heavier duty pipe. So we had to pay the other company to fix that. The patio looks awesome - and Rod's crew even built a wall to block off part of the ugly view under the deck. The concrete patio also looks great and finished up nicely. There were 2 dump trucks worth of extra gravel/dirt and they took one away and then just smoothed out the rest. I asked one of the guys to put the extra gravel out front in our spare car spot, but when I got home that wasn't done. Also the posts for the deck were not put back into their spot. Overall, the patio, wall and concrete pad is awesome and I can tell the quality is great but I think the clean up could have been better along with better piping. Regardless, Rod was a great guy and he does a lot for this community helping families with disabled children, giving them the handicap access they need around their house. I would use Rod again if I needed more concrete work or hardscaping.

They were very good. They were on time. Their price was good, they were not the lowest bidder, but they were not the highest. Their work was neat and professional, I like what they did. This is the second time I have used him, I would hire him again.

They were reasonably priced. He was pleasant to deal with and did excellent work. I have received lots of positive comments about the driveway. He put in lots of decorative geometric shapes in the concrete. I now have an attractive driveway.

When I was looking in Angie's List I was looking for people who had experience with drainage issues because we had to work with the inclines of everything to make sure the water was flowing away from the house and garage. We live in the Meridian Kessler neighborhood and he does a lot of work here which is how we found him. We had seen some driveways and patios that he did and liked them. He was very conscientious of what we wanted and he wanted us to be happy and satisfied and we are. I would recommend him and I have. We would use him again. This was a bigger job than maybe he even knew when he gave us the estimate. He estimated the amount we paid and brought the work in for that price. We felt his price was fair for all the work that was done. This was a very hard job, harder than any of us knew it would be. It completely changed the look of our house, but was worth it. It looks much better. He executed exactly what we wanted and asked lots of questions to make sure he understood. When one of the guys working for him didn't do something right, he dug it up and fixed it. They re-poured a part of the sidewalk and made it too narrow. When we pointed this out to him, he fixed it with no argument or disagreement.

John arrived to give an estimate the same day I called. After talking over my plans he gave some very welcome suggestions, which I incorporated into the final plan. After I finalized my plan and called back, John was very slow to respond. When we finally reconnected after he missed an appointment I proceeded with the building permit application. Again John failed to respond when I attempted to set up a project date which, when finally set, was missed, without explanation, until I called and left a message. Once the project was begun, however, the work was excellent, the workers outstanding, and the final project beautiful, at least until two dogs ran through the newly sealed drive just as the last two workers were preparing to leave. John later arrived with another crew and they attempted to repair the damage the dogs had done. Currently I have a concern about the sealer they had to add over the repair but my phone calls to the company have not been answered. I suspect they either overbook their work or have a lack of interest in pursuing customers.

Fabulous! Rod's crew was great. One of the things that would make us recommend Rod above others is the wealth of ideas and experience that he brings to the table. We only had a vague idea of what we wanted and were looking for some guidance. Rod offered a number of creative suggestions which is exactly what we needed and he did so in a very non-pushy manner. We could tell he really wanted us to be involved in the planning and that it was important to him that we really love the job when it was complete. (We do!) His ideas were much better than we could have envisioned and he was great about staying within our budget. Rod visited often over the 2 day job to ensure things ran smoothly and that we were happy with how things were going. Overall this has been an outstanding experience!

Hard working, dependable, and a great company to work with. The owner came and reset the job to make it look as good as possible which went above and beyond what most companies would do.

Crew was very clean and pleasant. They did a very nice job for us and I would recomend them highly.

Rod's crew did a wonderful job. People passing by were impressed with the beautiful work. I never thought a drive could look so nice. I did wait to give this report after winter to see how the concrete job would hold up. It is still beautiful to look at.

The company provided me with a quote within 2 days of my request. Because, the service was contingent on dry weather, I was not home when they arrived. My driveway was filthy. When I got home, the driveway had been power washed and looked like new. The workman told me that it took him 4 hours to power wash. His diligence and high standards resulted in a superior end result. Because, all the surfaces needed 2 coats of sealer and he had spent so much time power washing, he had to come back the next day, which was Sunday, which he did. I am most happy with this company and would not hesitate to retain them again or to recommend them.

Rod Vore is the best contractor I have ever worked with. He is an honest hard working professional who will do anything to satisfy his customer. He designed the driveway and it is a work of art. We have had several positive comments on the drive. Lastly, he is not the most expensive but the quality and creativeness of his work is excellent.
