They wasted my time waiting for them to respond. I guess my job did not sound big enough for them.

Price, and quality were great. Some communication issues with the sales person/scheduler. Overall, I would use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

They were very professional. They were very helpful and very friendly. They did not let me know when they were coming out once, when I had asked them for notice, but still I would use them again. I was very satisfied with their services and they did a great job explaining what they were doing. I would recommend them to others.

They were very thorough and professional. There were a couple minor problems with the roof that they took care of right away. The roofing job was done in one day and the gutter job was done in another day. Their salesman was very forthcoming and straight forward. We did have several estimates, and they were not the cheapest. We chose them because of the expertise of this salesman. We did get a discount from them because we are a member of Angie's List.

They added a lot of money when I asked them to do little things extra that I asked him to do. There drain they put in is holding when there are a lot of water. They did solve the major problems. The job was done.

Sounded very knowledgeable, so I decided to go with them. They wouldn't honor my coupon because I didn't let them know about it ahead of time. They have yet to come out to do the actual work. They decided to cancel the work. They still have my down payment. They say it's going to be returned to me by the end of the week.

It was a good experience. They did a good job. They gave me an estimate of the job before hiring. It was the lowest estimate of all 3 companies considered. They worked in a timely manner, when weather permitted it. They were good to clean up all the debris and they used magnets to pick up nails.

They seemed to really care about my roof and not just getting more business. They were also very responsive to my needs.

I had to go back into the hospital so Richmond gutter sent my proposal to the insurance company. I had asked for them to get the estimate on just the rook and gutter and not to include the chimney and I would get a mason for the chimney. When I saw the proposal, Richmond had included the chimney in the estimate. I called them and he said you have to sign now or your price will be going up this weekend. He then said he would PARTIALLY fix the chimney but he didn't know how to fix the whole thing. My insurance company sent me a check and the check included the price to fix the chimney. I called them and let them know what was going on and they said they had talked to Richmond and they weren't having any price changes and then told me not to give him the check. If the insurance company doesn't even trust this guy I don't think I should either. First he gives me a high price and price included the chimney fix, that I told them to leave out, then he told me I had to sign the contract soon or the prices would go up to twice as much, and he included jobs in the estimate he couldn't even fix and he then told me he could partially fix the chimney.

It was wonderful. They did an outstanding job. They came in the same day and did it in one day. They were courteous very censured on doing a good job and they were really good at cleaning up after themselves.

Salesman was nice and knowledgeable. Their price was comparable to another I had gotten. But, after checking the BBB I decided to use another company.

They cleaned out the gutters as they went. They cleaned up well, didn't leave any gates open.

Besides the 3 month hiatus,the work began on Sep 14th. Arriving home from work -I found the job half done and the trim around the siding horribly done! My pictures included with this report tells the true story! I Called the foreman of the project that night. "Bob" agreed to meet me at my home the next day to discuss the matter. "Bob" neither showed up nor called. I took my first set of digital pics the next morning and sent them to Richmond Guttering. "Bob" called(not one single apology for missing appt) Wednesday morning "Bob" stopped by along with the original 2 SUBS!! Bob tried to say nothing was wrong! One of his SUBS said using flexible trim will probably work around curved portions. Instead of doing the job correctly, SUBS used nonflexable trim -AGAIN!! Told them although it still looked terrible it passed. After careful consideration -decided to send dig photos to main office and told them to try again. Haven`t heard a peep so far! Of coarse -haven't paid them yet either.

There were some problems, but they did an OK job. Some of the problems were due to the insurance company, but they would say they were coming out, and then wouldn't show. It turned out OK in the end.

This rept. will cover only roofing issues & not siding/guttering issues.Several months after my first contact to Richmond and numerous msg. to them later, I subsequently received a call from the salesman & an appt. was made for 8/14/06.Jeff met w/me for over 3 hours. During that time he answered my questions and advised that yes, Richmond used only their own staff- no subs; that he would be on-site during installations; that there would be no problem with the heat pump conversion line. The roof was installed 10/12-13/06. Jeff not present, did not answer my calls, & workers did not speak English. When the Dec. IPL bill came & it was 4x my normal useage, I found out they punctured my heat pump's line set. Richmond had their contractor out, who fixed one leak but caused another, wh/ was ultimately fixed. Sys. is still contaminated w/"green slime" & not working at all. Advised 5/07 by their ins. comp. that it was not their fault or their subs'. Sys. was only 2 yrs. old

The work was excellent but the communication was terrible. They were slow in returning phone calls and slow in coming out, but they did make sure they did the job right and that I was satisfied.

They showed up and did the job when they were supposed to. They made my house look like new. They were super nice people.

They did a good job at a good price. It seems to be holding up.

After several weeks delay, Richmond Gutters and Roofing completed the new roof without incident. The siding was completed by a sub-contractor within a few weeks. The only problem was the delay in installation of the guttering for several months until February, 2007 even with a warm winter. I was promised that at least one member of the crew would speak passable enough English, but this was not the case and needs to be dealt with in the future by the company when it hires sub-contractors or those who speak Spanish only.

Our sales rep was wonderful and went the extra mile for us. However the company as a whole was difficult to work with. I understand that they are busy - there are a lot of customers right now who have hail damage. However, I signed a contract and months went by without anyone so much as touching base with me. When I called to try to get my project on the schedule, I was told that they were basically scheduling whoever "barked the loudest." So, after multiple calls, I then had a crew out that week. I had to do this 3 times - for the roof, the siding, and the gutters. Also, my phone messages would go unanswered - I had to just keep calling and calling. Unfortunately for the sales staff, the office has ruined my customer experience. The work done was fine.

It has been 2 1/2 weeks, I guess I can stop waiting by the phone. Glad to see they are keeping busy! Angie's list gives me some ''reputable'' choices.

I called Richmond because someone said they did metal window wrapping. The metal on our windows is heavier than most so I wanted to talk to someone to make sure they did the heavier metal wrapping. I spoke to Roger who said that they did and would have someone call me from the sales department. It's now three days later and still no call. When I called back on the second day to find out when I would hear from someone, I was told by Roger that there are certain procedures that must be followed, that they had computer software that managed the whole process and that I would hear from someone. No promise as to when. Generally a company gives you the most attention when they want your business. I wonder what their lead time would be to correct installation mistakes or warranty work?

The same company replaced the roof, then the siding, then finally the gutters. They did a professional job.

The salesman was a little 'pushy', but they were quoting a signifcantly shorter lead time than other companies. Since the house was for sale, we decided to choose them. Everything went smoothly with the roof replacement and the installation was within a week of the original estimate. They responded promptly to minor issues that we brough to their attention.

The crew was professional and worked with us when we asked them to look at specific details. They also were flexible about where they left their ladders each night so they wouldn't be in our way. The main complaint is that the trash was not removed when the job was complete - it was finally removed after several phone calls about a week later.
