Rhino Shield did a great job of painting the exterior of our home. They went above and beyond to prep, caulk and repair the exterior prior to painting. From start to finish, their team communicated well and followed through. The team on our job of Isael and Pedro were the epitome of professionalism and excellence. We will not hesitate to recommend Rhino Shield!

My husband and I were impressed at the thorough taping and covering prior to the product application. The painters were not contractors, so they seemed to be more reliable, professional, and skilled. While the price is high for the product, we feel that in the long run, we will save money by not having to paint as often. The end result looks great!

The gentleman who did the work were very efficient and pleasant. Anything that needed protected was covered. No accidental mishaps occurred. Despite issues with the wind the team took the needed time to properly complete the job. I would use the services Rhino Shield provides again. I have recommended this company to friends looking for quality service in this area.

SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF FRUSTRATION. DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They do shoddy work that isn't always apparent immediately. Then when you call them on it, the owner is defensive and blames the customer. I know full well, once he reads this review, that's EXACTLY what he will do, try to discredit me. Instead of doing right by his customers, he plays this stupid game. He even resorts to lying. Words are words. TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICS FOR YOURSELF. If this is what you want for your money, by all means, go ahead and hire them. It took a whole year for them to finally come out and fix one side of the house. And you know what did it? Posting pics on Angies List of their own work! I am very pleased with that side of the house now except for the trim around the upstairs window. In all fairness, I didn't initially complain about it. The worker would have fixed it, had I asked. But I was so blown away by how beautiful he made that side of the house, I was stunned. This is the quality I paid for and didn't get initially. That one guy took pride in his work. But he is the exception apparently. It was an eyesore. Ron told me to let him know if there was anything else I needed. My answer was yes. Now that I know what it should look like, I want the rest of it fixed too. Ron told me the owner, Jim, wouldn't allow it. I've been told by the owner it's because of the shingles. Then explain why trim looks crappy too. I am posting new pics. I am proud of one side of my house. But there are three other sides they've screwed up and refuse to fix. Quality just isn't important to Rhino Shield. It's all about the money and sending you on your way, whether you are happy or not. Do I sound angry? You bet, and you would be too.

The estimator arrived on time, and was courteous and professional. I researched the project ahead of time and was even more impressed when the company rep showed me examples of their product. I wanted to go with them, but they were out of my budget this time. If the coating lasts 25 years, as they advertise AND WARRANTY (including labor, which no one else does for that long), then they are a better value. Again, I would like to use them in the future, when I can afford it.

We had an extremely positive experience with Rhino Shield from the start. Lindsay , the initial scheduler of the appointment was very knowledgeable about the product and coordinated the estimate with my husband and my very busy shedules. Rick came to the house for the initial assessment/measurements. We have a 45 +year old house and had painted our house 6 years before and really liked the color. Rhino Shield was able to custom match the color. Once we decided to move forward with the project, I received a call from Amy who helped schedule a time that worked for us. After they did the prep work , there were several areas of wood that needed to be replaced including a portion of the screened in porch. We were extremely pleased with the wood replacement work and the area looked brand new when they were finished. What was most impressive about the Rhino Shield team was the level of commitment to the project. Uriel and his crew were at our house at 7:30 a and did not stop until 7:30p or 8p each day, even in the 90 degree temperatures we were having that week. These guys were by far the hardest workers I 've ever seen . At the end of one of their very long hot days, I ask Uriel to rehang one of my shutters and apologized for the timing of my request. Uriel just smiled and said " customers always right". Rhino Shield should be proud that they have such hard working loyal people representing thier company.

Appointment was kept, notification of impending visit was given. After coating the trim, we decided we did no care for the trim color we selected. Without any hassle, a new color was mixed and applied promptly at a very reasonable additional cost. We are more than pleased with Rhino Shield, both of the physical result and with the personal attention!! We chose Rhino Shield after learning that the coating was thick and elastic so it would expand and contract with the steel siding it covers without cracking. Oh, yes, the technicians were very professional. They gave attention to details, did not allow ANY unwanted overspray, cleaned up perfectly, and required no homeowner intervention. Great group!

The experience was very good. They gave me a real nice discount. They took their time and did good work. I heard a radio thing about them and I called.

.They are well aware how unhappy I am with Rhino Shield's business model, I have just explained again to Ron Smith, that I am unhappy with the job. I feel that it has been a trial of my patience since day one. After Amy messed up with the credit card on day one and Travis showed up at the job site late and unprepared to work I was having concerns. I called Ron Smith that evening and told him I was not pleased with how things were going. He said he would come and get it straightened out. He didn't come the next day so I called Rick Thompson and complained. He called Ron and Ron did come the next day. I told him things were not being handled professionally. They had applied the base coat without caulking anything. After a discussion with Travis, who tried to tell me that "they don't caulk", another phone call was made by Travis, caulk arrived and was applied, The product color selection turned out to be another big problem.. I was not aware how they let the customer decide it their choice of color was satisfactory. I expected a sample would be applied and if it was not acceptable, I could pick another color. They showed up with 5 gallon cans of the color already mixed. They stuck their finger in the product and made a little smear n a sheet of paper. It was very obvious the colors were way off.. So, I had choose colors again and was told that they would mix up a new batch, BUT if I wanted a third selection, I would have to pay for it as it is very expensive. I.am not happy with the second color either, I believe it is still almost white instead of cream color But I told them to go ahead and apply I, as I did not want to pay more. When my children came to visit for Mother's Day. My son-in-law agreed with me that the color is too light. My daughter agreed that it was a very unprofessional job. There is more unhappiness. It has to do with the condition of landscaping and the lawn after they left. The paint is still wet and it's raining. But I signed off on the job to get them off the property. They are not going to do anything to make to right and wanted have them move on. I fell like a foolish old woman that paid a very high price for a very unpleasant experience. I could have paid $3,000.and had the house painted. I can not believe they have so many good reviews on Angie's List

Undoubtedly the BEST home repair/maintenance job I have EVER had done. My home is a fifteen year old, architectural-style, two story of approximately 4000 interior square feet. The exterior is finished with western red cedar applied ship-lap style. The exterior had not been pressure washed or re-stained in about six years and was showing signs of age. Some boards were split,some were cracked, and most were slightly cupped. The alternatives were to have the entire house pressure-washed and re-sealed every two or three years,or to do a complete tear-off and replace the siding with something more durable.Because of the style and setting of the home,maintaining it's exterior appearance was of utmost importance. Rhino Shield has solved my problem. . .for the next twenty-five years. . .guaranteed. The whole job took about ten days.It went very smoothly. The crew could not have been nicer.If I owned a business, I would hire them to work for me in a heartbeat.You CAN still get good help these days,you just have to go with the right company.

They were very good. They were very professional, they did an extremely nice job with the house itself. We made a couple of changed in between with a couple of things and they were willing to accommodate, so we were very pleased. They painted the house about 3 years ago, and we used them because they have a 25 year warranty. The sales person was very up front with what the service would do, and how long it would take. When we looked at the 25 years warranty, we saw that we would have to paint every 3 years, because of the way the house sit with one side does not get any shade, so we thought we would save a lot of money, although it was expensive. There were some things that we wanted to change and they were willing to work with us. There is no deterioration at all in the paint. There is no discoloring or anything.

Rhino Shield was prompt, professional and the product is excellent. No mess, cleaned up everything and a quality job for a reasonable price. My wife and I are very satisfied with the whole job start to finish. I waited this long to write a review because I wanted to see what our how I product looked after this winter and wow it looks like it was just painted last week. I will sing the praises of this company for a long, long time. We are extremely happy and our house looks great.

It went very well. The quality was excellent. The prep crew did a wonderful job and we've been very pleased with the results. It's expensive but it's worth it.

Rudy arrived on time to provide an estimate and to explain the Rhino Shield ceramic coating. The price was a little more than twice the estimates we received for painting, but with the 25 year warranty, we decided it would be worth it. They gave us a list of homes they had coated, which we checked out. I spoke with the owner of a stucco with wood trim home to see how he liked it and if he was happy with it. His response was very positive, which helped us make the decision to go ahead. The 3 man crew arrived when scheduled and did a good job. We wanted the colors match the existing colors - which they were able to match exactly. They replaced several wood trim pieces that were rotting. They were very conscientious that we were happy with their work. It was originally estimated to take 5 - 6 days, but due to weather, it took a couple of extra days. The finished product looks great. The left over coating was left with me, in case I needed it in the future. After final payment, the 25 year warranty was sent to me. In late October, while removing leaves from a valley area of my roof, I noticed some rotting trim. A neighbor replaced the board and I used some of the left over coating to cover it. I contacted Rhino Shield to let them know I was disappointed this rotting board was missed by their crew and they coated over it. Rudy contacted me and said he was sorry they missed it and would cover this in their 25 year warranty. Because of them missing this trim board, I gave them a "B' for Quality, but the rest of the work was a definite "A"!

It was fantastic! Seriously, the worker was very polite at all times and performed his work exceptionally well. He did a very small area before he started putting the color on to see if we liked the color which we did. We've had friends and neighbors coming over to look at the house and garage. They've all agreed it is very nice. The best it is guaranteed for 25 years; and in time we can power wash if we think it needs it. No more painting. That's wonderful! Would recommend Rhino Shield to any one that needs the exterior of their house done. Thank you for a great job; we are very happy!

The 2 man crew that was in charge of my house painting was very professional and very easy to work with. They power washed the whole house, caulked and repaired certain areas, removed all downspouts and outside light fixtures. Covered all the windows with a plastic covering to protect the windows from paint over spray, this was all done before they started the process of applying the paint to the house. After they completed painting the house, the downspouts, wood trim around all the doors and the railing on my wood deck, they returned the next day and re-installed the downspouts, outside light fixtures and totally cleaned everything up. I couldn't have been more pleased with the job they did! I am a very pleased customer of Rhino Shield and I would and do recommend their services to any and everyone that is thinking about getting their house painted!

The job took about two days. Everything was done as agreed. The crew was hard-working and professional. We are very pleased with the result.

I take great pride in picking out my contractors, subs, service companies and stores I do business with for both personal/business related. An example it took my two years to pick a custom builder to build my latest house. It took me more than a year to research paints/companies for repainting the outside of my home. I picked Rhino Shield not because they were the cheapest, as they were not, yet were the best VALUE! I didn't want to use an inferior paint that would cost me more in the long run. This paint pays for itself in 7 or 8 years (next paint job). Not to mention the money saved in uttilities with the think paint coating giving the house an extra seal is a nice plus. The crew were pros, quick and extremely nice. They had incredible work ethic and attention to detail for my job. Even two years later (this summer), I had a touch up job where my wife ran into the side of the garage opening. A nice man came out and painted the whole section and matched pefectly. You can't tell the old vs. new paint. They are great if you are looking for someone to paint your house, barn or commercial building. I am looking at them to paint a commercial building for me now! I don't want to paint it for another 25 years!

Everything was great from start to finish! Christian and his crew showed up when they said they would be there and worked extremely hard until they were finished for the day. The first day they moved all our patio furniture away from the house, covered plants and bushes and power washed. They pointed out the areas that needed wood replacement and gave us a fair quote to do the work. They went around the whole house and did lots of caulking! Even my husband said "wow, they really do caulk everything!" They covered all of our windows and covered the copper over our bay window and soffits. They applied the primer next day. They always made sure to cover all of our light fixtures and were very careful not to get anything on the brick. I had picked a color but was still not 100 %. Christian obviously knew how fickle I was and only had 1 bucket made first and put some on one of our porch columns. At first, I thought it was way too light and didn't look like the color I chose. He was very patient with me and told me to wait a little while for it to dry and stand back in the yard to look at it in the sun. He was right! It was perfect and just what we wanted. They applied the color and it looked awesome!! We just purchased this house and it is 12 years old. The original owners had never painted the siding so it was bare in some spots. What a transformation! We have had neighbors come by to see it and ask questions. Our house sits on a corner and several people pulled in to slowly drive by our house when the Rhinoshield van and/or sign was out front. You could tell they were checking it out! I work from home and was here during the whole process. I don't think I saw them take more than one or two short breaks a day. It rained 2 days of the week they were doing our house. Both days Christian called to tell me they were not coming. They picked up after themselves and were always polite and courteous. My girls loved saying "Hola" to Christian and the rest of the crew when they came home from school. I just can't say enough how pleased we are with the finished product! Thank you to Christian and Rhinoshield for doing such a great job!

Worst. Experience. Ever. The first step is power washing. It made a horrible mess of my clean windows. I was never told to anticipate the additional expense of window cleaning. They didn't bother to fix the problem. So yes, my house looks worse now than it did when they started. Next is prep and painting. Workers showed up early one Saturday morning, unannounced. They started to paint our garage doors. We ran outside to tell them we needed to get our cars out. We told them we would be having a lot of family members over the next day (Sunday) and that we didn't want them to come on Sunday. They took our gutters off, left them in the yard and left for the day. (?) It rained so hard that there were huge holes where displaced roof water poured into the ground. We had to put trash cans under the water so that it wouldn't run down our house and into the basement. They covered our automatic lights with paper. We had to rip it down because it got so hot that we feared it would catch on fire. Rhino Shield said someone did call and leave a message for us to not turn on the lights, but the connection was so bad and the English so poor that we thought it was a prank. We could not make out a single word. Sunday morning at 8:30 AM they showed up to paint again. (Huh?) We rushed out, moved our cars and told them we really didn't want them there. They worked all day and finally left at 8 PM! They drove in our yard, tearing a huge rut that needed to be filled and re-seeded. (Their driver denied it was him but since we caught this on our security cameras, there was no getting out of it.) Workers left trash, tape, and cigarette butts everywhere. Paint was dripped all over our shingles, roof, porches, landscaping and driveway. Our garage doors were painted shut. We had to use a box cutter to separate the weather stripping from the door in order to open them. None of the screened in porch and outdoor living area furniture was placed anywhere near where it started, nor was I asked where it should go. Ceiling fans were disassembled and then re-assembled incorrectly. At one point, one of the workers had his wife and two young girls just hanging out in our yard. It was 90 degrees. The biggest problem with this company is communication. None of the workers spoke English. When we attempted to communicate with the one "English-speaking" worker, it was futile. We would have appreciated knowing when our garages or doors were going to be sealed off so that we could make alternate plans. He didn't seem to understand. When we called the office, they sent a supervisor over to trouble shoot. English was his second language, too. The supervisor seemed defensive but agreed to have someone power wash all of the paint drips. They filled the rut with topsoil and grass seed. They did not pick up all of their trash. For $15, 000 I would expect a top-notch, detail oriented company. This is not it. I was told that only one man (the "English speaker") was an employee of Rhino Shield and that he has to drum up other workers and pay them himself. The whole time I was thinking that I was probably employing illegal aliens. Very shady operation. We'll see how the 25 year warranty works out. I can't imagine the company will be around that long.

The workers were prompt, efficient, thorough, and tidy. They cleaned up each evening and hauled away debris daily. They were particularly careful around the windows and landscaping. We have recommended Rhino Shield to our friends and neighbors, and as a result, our next-door neighbors have also had their house painted by "Rhino Shield"!

Much of our chimney had to be replaced because of spalling, and even though Rhino Shield had nothing to do with the brick problem, they honored their warranty and came to put on the primer and Rhino coating so the house looks good again. We are very pleased that the chimney is both repaired and now newly coated to match the rest of the house, and we were pleasantly surprised that they included this work as part of their 25 year warranty.
