Rader's Carpet Service

I was late getting home from work and when I got home I found him waiting on me. He was extremely nice about having to wait. He immediately came in and found the spot where the carpet was loose. They do have a $100 minimum fee, so he offered to stretch and reattach all the carpet on the stairs for that price. Almost a year later the stairs still look great and we haven't had any more trouble with the carpet.

It went very well. I liked them because of their professionalism. The job was good quality and the price was reasonable. I would use them again in the future.

They were courteous and professional and got everything done quickly.

Mr. Rader showed up at 7:30am as promised, and completed a fantastic job in under an hour. The results were outstanding. This is the second time I've used his services (previously it was installation of carpet I purchased at Lowe's for a Broad Ripple rental), and I am impressed by his consistently excellent service.

Everything went really well. Larry was very prompt in returning calls to setting up the measurement/estimate for installation, picking up the carpet to be installed, and actually performing the work. They performed the installation over 2 days and everyone worked hard and got the job done in a minimal amount of time. We had a spot that he had a question about because of a noise and he came back out within a couple of hours, found the cause, and fixed it on the spot. If you're in the market for having new carpet installed in your house, be sure to compare quotes of buying it wholesale from Dalton, GA and having Larry install it. I saved at least $2,000 going this route compared to one of the major local carpet stores in the area. I paid about $0.60/yard on the shipping, but it still came out less than what the tax would have been if purchased locally.

The other company realized the problem wasn't the carpet, but the padding. Rader's even so far as to tell me that the backing of the carpet in the doorway was totally gone, which was not true. The second company pulled the carpet away from the door and found that the carpet was fine. I saw myself that there was nothing wrong with the backing of the carpet.

Great. Larry is an A+ service provider. Work was done quickly and high quality. Our seams look better than when the carpet was first laid! Moved us up on the schedule to accommodate for quick timing on a home appraisal. Only one small misstep. When I read the reports many of them said he arrived early. He was going to be at our house between 8 and 8:30. At 8:45 I knew something was wrong based on Angie's reports. I called and left a message. About 10 am he called and came right out. He had just forgotten we scheduled it for that day. He apologized probably 6 times, and given the other reports about him being early, I would not let this deter you using him. He's so reliable I knew we had a scheduling problem at 15 minutes past our appointment- that's consistency! Really great experience with him. Also, he gave us a lower price per room because I decided after I made the appointment that I wanted 7 rooms done, not just 3. Big price break offered pro-actively by him.

They did two different jobs patching the carpet.

He called a half an hour before our appointment and wanted to move it up and then still arrived early.

I called the company using the telephone number on Angie's List. We played a bit of phone tag for a day or two due to my busy schedule. When I finally spoke with Larry Rader, he agreed to come to my house the day after Thanksgiving. Larry estimated the time he would be there and called before coming. He arrived about 30 minutes early. They moved furniture and even waited for me to vacuum where heavy furniture had been moved before replacing the furniture after the repair. They were on their way within an hour. I can recommend them highly.

After Larry stretched the carpet, it looked like new. I very highly recommend this company - especially for the jobs where you aren't buying carpet, you just need installation or need a fix. He was very responsive, punctual, professional, and really knows what he's doing. If I have another carpeting problem he's at the top of my list.

Called one day, scheduled the work for the following morning. Was on time (a little early, even), and did the job in just a little over 30 minutes, stretching out and trimming off over 2" worth of carpet. Seemed to me to be a little high-priced ($250) for 30 minutes' work (Larry and another person), but Larry did quote that amount to me ahead of time, priced at $5 per sq. yd., less $50 discount, presumably for our already having most of the furniture off the carpet.

He was excellent. You couldn't even see any seam where he put a patch, it was seamless!

Rader's promptly returned my phone call, gave me a quote over the phone (quote was for installing carpet on stairs), scheduled within 3 days and completed work promptly and within expectations. He even had brought me out some new pad, but upon seeing what was under my original carpeting he indicated that it was still in great shape and better than the new padding, so we used it.

When I called Rader's they responded quickly and scheduled to come the next day. They called when they were on the way and operated efficiently in getting the job done. The quality of work and their very polite attitude was refreshing. I would recommend them highly.

Larry was a very friendly guy and he did a nice job on our carpet. The previous owners really had a bad carpet layer, and Larry did a great job hiding seams and fixing some problem areas. He was quick, tidy and did a high-quality job. We'd have him again if we needed!

They were on time, had prompt responses by phone, and were very professional. They came in and did the job in less than 2 hours. They charged per estimate (very responsible costs).

After playing phone tag for a week, I finally spoke to Larry, who was eager to take the job. When they first came to do the work, they thought they could do it by hand, but decided they needed the tool that was buried in the van behind hardwood flooring. They rescheduled and came back a few days later. They were quick and professional, though they forgot to install a threshold that we asked for.

Job 1: Removed large wrinkles in carpet. Very polite, prompt. Returned phone call quickly and scheduled quickly. Also called to say was running 15 minutes late. Job 2: Scheduled service in a timely manner. Arrived a few minutes early. Repaired carpet beautifully. Even though they used 3 pieces of carpet to repair area, it was very difficult to find the seams.

On time, but unreasonably expensive.

Larry does very good work and I would highly recommend him. My husband and I are very picky and we were pleased. After he left our home, we found an area that still had a small wrinkle in the carpet. He returned to our home at 8:00 the next morning and corrected the problem. He takes pride in his work and was pleasant to have in our home.

The gentlemen were on time and performed the work in a quick and efficient manner. They also advised us on some cleaning issues and looked at some other carpet projects we were considering.

The two workers were on time, friendly and polite, and respectful of our home. The work took less than one hour (less than their estimated time). About five minutes after they left, I realized I forgot to have them look at a place in the carpet that needed to be repaired. I called him then and he came right back, repaired the area, and refused to charge me extra for the extra visit and time. I received very professional service which I will definitely use in the future when needed.
